When the time for installation came, they provided a window during which they expected to arrive our house and kept us updated when they unexpectedly ran behind schedule (not an issue for us). I loved the Harry Potter theme. It was like a mini Universal Studios tour. Volunteers in costumes took you through. We got a a butter beer sample in the beginning, walked through Diagon Alley and casted spells with our wands, got sorted into a house, played Quidditch, defeated a dementor and a volunteer took photos of me and my friend outside the house at the end of the tour. Really cool and interactive experience. Make sure you donate online as their hard work benefits a nonprofit. It is free to get tickets but you have to have tickets to get in. Next year it will be a different theme of monsters. The experience is all outdoors at someone's home, in the driveway and backyard. You don't go inside their house for this experience.

Josh started to hang the lights and noticed my gutters filled with debris so he offered to clean them for me (for a small fee of course but it was worth it)! There were so much debris!!! Once he and his team were done with cleaning the gutters, they continued with hanging the lights. Josh was so meticulous. He recommended that I hang the lights along the side eaves so that I can see the lights when I drive up from the side streets (genius)! I also asked him to wrap the bushes with lights and wished I would have taken his suggestions to wrap every bush instead of every other bush. Oh wells - I'll definitely do it next year!! This one just happens to be at the old, vacant Lowe's® by SJC, and is just one of the nearly 1,500 locations they open every year. Fun fact: Spirit was founded here in The Bay in Castro Valley! Remembering how big the old Lowe's was I figured this location would be gigantic, but it seemed to be about the same size as all the other Spirits I've been to.
