I had my car repaired back in january 2025. my son was employed there at the time and since the car took FOREVER to repair for minor rear end damage, the shop owner let us take the car home even though insurance still had a little left to pay. The reason insurance didn't pay the first time was because the invoice was incorrect (wrong repair). they resubmitted and it was paid in February. fast forward to now, my son was let go and they advised him yesterday (6 months later) that his mom owed 489.22 and that they were deducting it from his last check. Naturally I called insurance company...all claims paid. I called candy Apple and they refuse to give me a bill so I can pay it since it's my vehicle and not my sons problem. They refused. So I went there to get it in person and they still refused. They called the police. Do not use Candy Apple Customs. They obviously are doing some questionable things with billing. read more

It was a minor repair on the drivers door of my Chevy Cruze Eco. The paint looks good, but in the process they triggered an engine code the next time I drove it. When I brought it back to ask about the code they cleared it so that I couldn't take it to a dealership to diagnose. I'm also getting much lower gas mileage since the repair, and also got an alarm system error, so I think they messed something up in the electrical system. When I talked to them they were always friendly and courteous. That said communication during the repair was lax and it's very difficult to catch anyone when calling, always voicemail. It would have been great to get text updates on the status of the repair. EVERYTHING including my mirrors, radio stations, seat height had been changed/reset the only thing not reset was my bluetooth connection. I have since found out that they forgot to tighten the negative cable on my battery when my car wouldn't start, and they stole my spare donut tire, and I contacted the manager and they take no responsibility. If I could give no stars I would, I brought my car here because the insurance gave them as an option figured they were good because they have so many good reviews but they did not fix my car correct. The bumper was supposed to be fixed but when I got it back it was still cracked the man from the shop told me he was going to order it and change it out and it's been a few weeks now and nothing I've called and was supposed to get a call back and nothing . Not only that but I found a scratch on the passenger side that was not there when I brought it in . Insurance don't want to do anything because they said it was completed. In my opinion I would not choose this location for anything. read more

Very disappointing experience. Candy apple customs powder springs had my brand new car of 1 week (no fault accident) for 32 days and 4 rounds of me coming to pick up my car after being told it was completed. Every update for the vehicle I had to call and get myself. Only calling days after the day they told me it would be ready each time. Shae the manager told me after the first round of issues with the car he would personally see to the quality issues. The third and forth time he still took ownership of all issues (which I have documentation of) and proceeded to berate me and storm off in a tantrum. The first time I followed him and practically begged him to do what was right and fix my car which he agreed however, the second time he did this he stormed off and called the police so they would come and tell me not to come back even though i was simply asking him to do the repairs he charged me for (IN THE VIDEO YOU CAN HEAR ANNA THE ESTIMATOR TELL SHAE TO GO INSIDE AT THE END). Anna stayed outside ant talked with me after this. I only videoed Shae (THE MANAGER) because of how he acted in our last interaction (AGGRESSIVE, RUDE, TANTRUM LIKE BEHAVIOR). Final result was a damaged mirror that was supposed to be new, overspray, cracking paint that was not applied properly, scratches from over cleaning trying to get overspray off, damaged windows, and repairs on estimate not completed. read more

My issue with this company started with the original repair. I was given an estimate of roughly 900 dollars. I informed the company not to perform any repairs over the estimatie with out calling me. This was written on my paper work and also imputed into the computer by their receptionist. My car was with them for about a week and some days and then I was called to pick up my car with a new repair cost of 1500 dollars. I was flabbergasted, I was never called before being called to get my car about any additional charges. I asked Mark to speak to the Owner for me to see if they would work out something since I was never contacted by them to inform me of the up-charges. They acknowledge their error but did nothing on the cost. Fast-forward I call the company to inform them that the alignment that was done on the car was off. I also informed them that I had a tire sensor on for one of the tires that they were to replace. We discussed replacement of two tires on my originally estimate but was informed they only replaced one. Before I could get the car up there to be looked at, the tire they did replace blew. They were willing to do what they could to get it replaced, but then called me to inform me that the place THEY took my car to me to did not warranty tires so if I wanted another tire I would have to ask for a supplement. I have been trying to get a hold of the owner Ken but he will not talk to me. He keeps passing the Issue to his Manager Mark. I use to think highly of this place that is why I brought another car here for repair. Now I would not send my dog there. Save yourself the headache they do not stand by their work and they appear to be untrustworthy. read more

I went into this place one morning about 20 mins after they opened. Nobody was in the office. I walked in and waited about 10 mins. All I wanted was an emissions. After having body work done on my vehicle, I learned Candy Apple Custom had over charged both me & my insurance company by nearly $2000.00 They made no effort to repay the over charge after 60 days of time had past. I was promised my car several times only to get there to pick it up & find it was not ready. No one bothered to contact me to let me know about the delay. This occurred on 2 different occasions on same repair. Because of this and the gross over charges, I would not recommend this shop. I have also reported them to my insurance company for embezzling. I have no respect for business men who are unethical. Ripping off my insurance company drives up premiums. If it was possible to list as negative star, I would have. read more

I would have selected two stars ... but fortunately I haven't had the experiences to say "I've experienced better". I'm really not impressed with the speed of work done ... even to get an 'estimate' required a 'tear down' before they could give numbers. Had some additional work to possibly be done ... but that required a tear down as well. This shop is an approved shop of USAA and State Farm ... I'm really not sure why except maybe that everyone else is even slower. First time I had work done, there were 'gaps' between the passenger front quarter panel and the front bumper ... too big of gaps to be acceptable in my opinion, and certainly it should have been caught before delivering to the customer. They did take it back into the shop and improved upon it SLIGHTLY ... but the excuse given was that it was a third party piece and third party pieces don't fit well. Poor excuse!!! Because it was my son's car, and he didn't have a problem with the work, we accepted it ... but I can tell you that I wouldn't bring my car there for work. read more
