There was no sign that they do not take large bills....I double checked. They didn't want to take it because the bill was "old". It was not a "newer series" according to the cashier. They wanted me to use my card which would then remove the cash discount that the establishment offers. They did verify that the bill was valid with the pens/markers. Once I stated that there is no sign about high bills, nor bills that are old; that they couldn't really enforce it or obligate me to use my credit card. 2) They prices on the display do not reflect what you are being charged. (Receipt enclosed). When I asked why the prices differentiated they said it was taxes. So my question is, then why are taxes also appearing on the bottom of the receipt? Am I paying double tax? Overall, it would have been a couple of dollars difference between the credit card and taxes but it's the lack of transparency and dishonesty. Regardless of the food, if I can't trust a business then they don't deserve MY business.
