The Summary: I go here pretty often with my parents and the bakery sweets here are pretty good and it reminds them of the pastries in Venezuela (back when there was still a country by that name). Other food items are good as well, the service is nice, and the prices are not expensive. The Experience The pastries vary from good to excellent, depending on the day... of course you have to be lucky enough to get there when they are fresh, and there's not really a standard time for that, but the good thing is that they are never "bad". The staff is friendly and helpful and very patient, they serve a good cup of coffee (the espresso coffee, I have not tried the American drip coffee here). The Cuban sandwich is excellent, by the way. I'm not a fan of their empanadas: I've tried the beef and the chicken ones... and they're not bad, but nothing really to write home about (and if I had to chose, I'd stick to the chicken ones). Love this bakery. Cutest real life love story too. First time trying this location and as always their on point with everything. I am a serious morning coffee needed girl. So every morning I have that caffeine craving. So stopping by only made sense. Now everytime I've come there's a line but a line is a sign that the wait is worth it. They are organized and have a full friendly staff so the wait goes by quickly. I always order the cafe con leche and the scrambled egg sandwich on cuban bread. It's always hot, soft, crispy, and just delicious. And of course coffee always on point. They have so many options available for breakfast from pastries, pastelitos, croquetta's, fresh hot baguette or cuban bread etc. They also have beautifully and delish decorated cakes for no any or no occassion..And don't forget the hot pressed sandwiches like the media niche or steak sandwich and just so much more. They have this young lady with long as** nails taking orders and serving in she cannot do anything right to save her life. Two out of three time got my order wrong got some ham croquetas and this room temperature IQ person got me fish croquetas having an allergic reaction to it. Not a big deal but someone can die for her lack of attention. Other time I'm waiting in line and she has been coughing nonstop and handling customers food without a mask. I'm fairly new to this area so I've only been here like twice. But each time I've gone the food has been good and fresh. All the workers are nice, it does get packed so be prepared to wait a bit for your food. I've tried their cafe con leches, Cuban breads, pastelitos and pan de bonos. Im happy they're in Cutler Bay but honestly the cakes taste old. The pastries taste store bought rather than fresh. I believe they use cheap ingredients. I've also seen a large party cake truck pull up at the front of the store dropping off merchandise and it's not soda it's their pastries. I believe they make them Somewhere else and deliver throughout locations so of course, they taste old. People go to the cutler bay location because there's nothing else around but their food is not good. 2. Want morning breakfast before going to work, not here! They will make you late. They have no sence of rush to others that need to work. You will be waiting 30 minutes for your breakfast. I wrote an email To the owners on their website, I never received a response. 3. When the egg prices at the beginning of 2025 happened, their breakfast which included eggs, coffee and toast was $5.75, what a deal. Then their prices went up. Now the same breakfast that was $5.75 is $9.75, they placed a sign saying "Due to high egg prices." Now The price of eggs went down but their prices and portions remain the same. Btw/ their portions are tiny. A woman a toddler cannot share a breakfast. Im hoping a new bakery comes around. I do have to say that both Publix down the street from there make bomb!!!! By far the best bakery in down south Miami, I'm origins from westchester which is a concentrated Latin city and bakeries are everywhere so I am very knowledgeable of what's good and what's not as for pastries and service so when I tell you that this is the best bakery in this side of Miami I mean it. Everywhere else in a 10 mile radius looks run down and not worth it. They even have new pastries! read more

Having stopped by a few times for breakfast I'm happy to say this place kept its consistency. The people are friendly, the food is fresh, the place is clean, & the prices are fair. The parking lot is a bit tight but you can usually find a spot without too much trouble. During my visits I ordered a few empanadas, some tequenos, & the life blood of any true Miamian, a colada. The carne empanada was my favorite. The ham & cheese empanada was good too, however I prefer the ham & cheese to be diced up & mixed together rather than folded deli style inside. The tequenos were made to order & the colada even came with a tiny pouring spout for the cafecito cups. The one thing I noticed that could possibly be improved is the checkout line. There are roped lines for ordering however the checkout line is a bit of a free-for-all with no real line. You always hope for considerate people that won't try to skip but this is not always the case in Miami. This is not a major issue, but it is something I noticed & could use some attention from management to help streamline the flow of customers. Overall, I'm always happy to see the smaller Mom & Pop type places do well & look forward to many more visits to Party Cake Bakery. read more

I was in the neighborhood early on a Saturday morning and decided to give them a try. A little disappointed that the first thing I saw was a cash only sign at the door. (Who carries cash nowadays) . Thankful there was a nearby atm. Once you walk in there's an open inviting kitchen with glass cases of delicious pastries and freshly baked goods. I got the steak and eggs breakfast sandwich for my dad and egg sandwich for me. Both sandwiches were delicious. We also got a few guava and cheese pastelitos and coco pastelitos. My husband and I bike in the area, and his bike club told him about this place. This place has a great breakfast special, 2 eggs, yummy Cuban toast, bacon, and cafe con leche, all for $5.99. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Very quick and friendly. It's also a good place to stop for a quick drink, if you don't want a whole meal. I went to this bakery back in January 2021 to buy a birthday cake for my mother-in-law and I think this is one of the best cakes I have ever bought at a bakery. I forgot the name but it had various layers which were moist and each had a different flavor and just thinking about it makes my mouth water. It was so simple yet so so GOOD! The chocolate layer had moist chocolate cake and the mousse was so smooth that it was the perfect combination. The middle had a vanilla filling but again it was not over powering. Very subtle flavor but delicious. The top I think was like a glaze but the last layer was made from the same thing they make the cappuccino dessert with which is like a soggy, sugary pound cake. So of course I tried to meet her half way by trying to speak some Spanish (I don't know much). Prior to March 2020, I had been into Party Cake Bakery a handful of times. However, once we were thrown into the world of COVID, I found myself at Party Cake several times a week. Maybe it was because pastelitos, croquetas, and bocaditos are my comfort foods, maybe it was because I know I could get quality items quickly with friendly service, or most likely, it was all of the above. I've seen first hand, the "social distancing" changes that Party Cake has enacted and boy, they have it down to a science without skipping a beat. No more than 10 people are allowed into their establishment, Xs are clearly marked on the floor six feet apart, they've put boundaries to keep customers from getting too close to the refrigerated cases, the employees, and the cashier. There is also plenty of hand sanitizer to go around. All of their items are out of this world, but my favorites are the cheese pastelito, the ham croquetas, and the senoritas. On top of the quality and tastiness of the food, the price is extremely reasonable. It seems as though I can get enough food for a small army for less than $15. Party Cake has managed to take the lemons we were all given in March, and make lemonade. I truly appreciate them! read more
