First things first: if you're looking for current feedback, check out their booking site "Booksy." A lot of the Yelp reviews here are outdated, and some of the barbers mentioned don't even work here anymore. Now onto the good part--THE BARBERS. We've had cuts from Luis, June, and Israel, and honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. Every barber here is phenomenal. My husband and both of my sons (ages 5 and 2) have been getting their cuts here since the boys were a. From the moment we walk in, we're greeted with kindness and respect. The shop is clean, professional, and they treat our kids like their own. My 2-year-old is that kid. The one who screams and wiggles the whole time. But never once have they been rough, impatient, or unkind. Instead, they work with us as a team, showing patience and care until the haircut is done. That alone is priceless. Yes, you pay a little more than a bargain cut--but the quality speaks for itself. If you want cheap, go cheap. If you want precision, consistency, and a barber you can trust with your kids, this is it. We recently moved to South Florida and still make the 3-hour trip once a month just to come back here. That should tell you everything. This shop is worth every single penny. They're more than barbers at this point, they're family.

My son is severely disabled by Autism non verbal and is an imposing child at 6 feet tall and 280 lbs. Sometimes people are nervous cutting the hair of a kiddo like my son but not here. We were greeted and seated right away. Israel cut my sons hair without missing a beat! He was kind, patient and gave him the most awesome haircut my son has ever had! Even my son smiled when he saw his image in the mirror! We've been here twice now and have found our new home!! Thank you everyone for taking such good care of our boy!

Please note that the directions will tell you to go RIGHT when you enter the shopping center, please go LEFT and it's all the way on the end in the Phenix Salon and Suites. Experience: awesome! Marc did a great job with consulting my boyfriend and myself before he made any moves with his scissors and trimmers. I appreciate that he wanted to make sure my bf got exactly what he wanted and that I would be happy to. He took my bf's crazy fluffy hair and untamed beard and transformed him into a sleek and sexy stud! Awesome transformation. Marc was hospitable as well. Offered us snacks and drinks, nice jazzy relaxing music. My boyfriend's favorite part was the PAMPERING!!!! Hot steamy towels, massage, facial cream... he was in heaven and so relaxed!!!! He woke up this morning and told me he feels good about himself and how he looks... that says it all! Thanks Marc!

I tried this shop twice because I wanted to give it a fair chance…read more On my first visit, Marc told me to wait down the hall. Once he realized I actually had an appointment, the situation became a little awkward for both of us. Linda ultimately cut my hair, and she did a great job. Both Linda and Marc made an effort to engage me in conversation, although at times I felt more like an outsider than a customer they were genuinely trying to get to know. I decided to give the shop another try. On my second visit, there appeared to be a scheduling mix-up. I had an appointment with Linda and arrived on time, but as I walked in, she was seating a walk-in customer. She had to ask him to wait so she could honor my appointment. The conversation during this visit was somewhat more comfortable, although I still didn't feel particularly at ease. Meanwhile, Marc seemed much more naturally engaged and relaxed with his younger client. That ultimately sums up my experience. If you're a younger, upwardly mobile guy who fits the atmosphere of the shop, this may be exactly the kind of place you're looking for. The haircuts and technical service were not my issue. Linda did a very good job. Where my experience fell short was in the hospitality and the feeling of being genuinely welcomed and valued as a customer. The shop states: "When a patron walks through our door, they receive the very best hospitality, a first class service that is tailored to their individual needs... the attention that makes you feel valued." As a 70-year-old professional who gave the shop two opportunities, that simply wasn't my experience. The haircut was good. The sense of hospitality and feeling valued as a customer missed the mark for me.

I have never experienced a better relationship with any of my hair dressers than I have with…read moreMelanie. She has THE BEST personality and such great conversation. She's just one of those few people that you feel like you've known forever. I know about her life, as she knows about mine and countless other clients'. She genuinely cares for all of her clients, and will give the shirt off of her back if needed. Then there's her talent! Melanie is truly gifted when it comes to color and style. The colors she uses are client specific, meaning she mixes colors to make a unique match for what each client is expecting. The brand of color she uses is so vibrant and rich, I've never found anyone in Florida that uses colors that I can compare to hers. My hair is extremely thick and wavy, so it is very time consuming for a hair dresser to do a proper blow out. The first time I went to Melanie, I almost left in tears because I have NEVER had someone actually take the time to do a full blow out before. For the first time, I actually left the salon feeling beautiful and confident, not wanting to rush home before anyone saw me to style my own hair. I used to work near Melanie's salon so it was convenient for me to go to her. When I started working and living nearly 50 minutes away from Just Fabulous, I tried a local salon recommended by many people in my area. It wasn't at all what I was used to by that point. I had to get back to Melanie ASAP! I will continue to make my drive out to her without complaint, she is 110% worth it. During my last visit, I actually sat next to a woman that traveled hours routinely to get her hair done by Melanie because she moved a few counties down south. If that doesn't prove her worth, I'm not sure what will!

Giving Thanks on this weekend…read more... This review of Melanie comes with such gratitude and love. I received a last minute work assignment notice to Florida. My hair looked like it needed a haircut and a color (bad!). Melanie was kind enough to come in on her day off and on a moments notice! I knew I needed to color my hair but this kind and generous woman had already accommodated me by coming in on her day off. I was NOT going to ask for that additional labor. I was happy with the cut. But she she just couldn't let me go without having my color done. So what does she do? She canceled her appointment so that she could do my color! The atmosphere in the salon was very fun, we were laughing and joking throughout my entire time there. Very positive energy. I have short hair and the cut is very cute and the color has lasted. I have waited 30 days to make this review so that it would be honest and accurate. I will travel up to Lake Mary to have follow up cuts while I'm in this area working. I cannot thank Melanie enough for what she did for me. You won't go wrong getting a haircut here. And the price is a third of what I was paying in Austin, Texas and the Oakland County, Detroit, Michigan metro area. Highly highly recommend.

First things first: This is a cheap barbershop $17 for a cut so you are 100% gonna get what you paid. Not to mention its all boomers so dont expect them to do any crazy good fades or blends like younger barbers do. So, the guy cutting my hair didn't do the best job. When i expressed concern about wanting to cut my hair lower due to a cowlick he was like oh well if you want to do a 1 or half zero thats like a whole new haircut which implied he would have to charge me again, i said forget it. Point is, i wasnt happy with the cut and i had to end up having to do it myself and fixing it. Save yourself the trouble and go out and pay a little more extra to get a quality haircut from people who will actually put in the work and not complain when you ask them to cut your hair shorter.
