Lots of parking. I go at night, usually no crowds at that time. Good sales on kitchenware.

Worst "mechanics" in the city. Brought my car in for a simple oil change and my car broke down on the way home.

My friend and I decided to stop into Zellers to see if we could get hit with a bit of nostalgia. I…read moregrew up in the 90s and remember my mom taking my brother and I shopping here for clothes (though we both were far more interested in the toys). My friend and I weren't there during the grand opening with the food truck so we missed that. Zellers is now located upstairs in The Bay at Kingsway. I was actually here a few weeks prior to it opening and noticed a section of the store partitioned off with curtains and figured this is where Zellers would be. My deductive skills were correct. So Zellers is now a small department within a department store. There's a few clothes, some toys (though no bright pink Barbie dreamhouse like 7-year old me wanted), some home decor, some kitchen and homeware, some pet stuff. It's a little bit of a lot of stuff. There were some Zellers backdrops to take a pic for the gram cause they're really targeting us millennials. I didn't buy anything, but my friend did and was happily surprised the prices weren't as high as she expected. There was no sense of nostalgia for me shopping at the new Zellers. I was hoping to see a Zeddy The Teddy Bear, or a Zellers hoodies; maybe there would have been some of those if I'd been there when it first opened. If you're looking to visit Zellers to get a sense of nostalgia (if you're old enough to remember the original Zellers) or if you're looking to see "what Zellers was like" (for you youngster or anyone who might be new to Canada) you'll probably be disappointed. This is just wandering around a department within a department store that happens to have the word Zellers thrown around here and there. That said taking the nostalgia aspect out to just go here to shop the store was clean, the prices were pretty decent (less expensive than The Bay itself), although there wasn't a lot of variety in the clothes (Women's was pretty picked over). I'm not saying avoid new Zellers, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get here. This is the only one in Edmonton so if you're at Kingsway Mall pop into Zellers and take a look around. Maybe it'll transport you back 20 years in time. Maybe you'll just find a utensil holder for your kitchen.

It's got the same random assortment of items, all for cheap prices. There's home good, makeup, stuffed animals, toys, etc etc. I have a particular love for the arts and crafts and home sections. Tons of great little trinkets that would work well for gifts. Or would be a great stop for back to school supply shopping. Everything that I have bought from Miniso has been high quality and affordable. Dare I say it... I prefer Miniso to Oomomo.

Almost everything there is made in China & most of their chain stores are based there as well. My in-law always seems to buy my family souvenirs from this brand whenever he goes to China. I was surprised that they've expanded to Canada so I had to pay it a visit. The store itself is small, but there is just enough room to manoeuvre a regular stroller but the aisles are tight & not in straight rows like most dollar stores. Pricing is not cheap like a dollar store, but affordable for what they offer. I would say item quality is superior than dollar store for many things. Items are also packaged very nicely & uniformly, look stylish/trendy/classy, some are also unique, and kid friendly, so it seems like your getting a good deal. I've never really had complaints about the stuff I've received from there or from what I bought. The staff are pretty friendly too & although there is very limited parking in the front, there's also parking stalls available at the back of the building too. I'd definitely come back to find some new things that 'I didn't know I needed in my life until I got there' type stuff.

I don't know if it's the smells coming from the home decor section but it is overwhelming. Their home decor section is the area that holds my interest the most. I can quickly update the look of my home with a few toss cushions, window treatments and wall decorations without breaking the bank. They also have items that are well suited for shower and wedding gifts. I can navigate the store with a cart without a problem, but I don't understand having carpet in such a huge store. Wouldn't that be a total pain to keep clean? Anyway, they also have furniture and bedding. My sister bought her leather couch here a couple years ago and has been very happy with it. I guess their pieces are built well. A large focus of their furniture section is knotty pine. I'm not a huge fan of this style of wood. You can get a back of tea lights for a couple bucks which is a good thing because I burn through them like crazy!

It is limited to selections as compared to Ikea. Don't get me wrong though, it still has many household items, decorations, furniture, and bedding, etc. Staff is friendly and parking is moderately spacious with other stores nearby. Do look at their flyers first before coming here, you can find some good deals. Bought myself MGM Grand bedding sheets that make me feel like i'm sleeping on clouds for at least 20% off. I don't regret the purchase. Not only do they have seasonal decorations but unique stuff as well. You'd have to spend sometime looking around, most definitely you'll be coming out with one item. Recommended for anyone looking to style up their household or room. Take your time when your in here, or shop online before coming in.

The blond shoulder length clerk was horrible. Her mannerisms were deplorable. The shirts were hanging high and I could not see sizes. When asked to look at the shirt, she looked at me and said the size. She didn't want to bring a shirt down for me to look at. Finally I demanded she bring the shirt down. The attitude was if you're not from Ukraine we are not interested. I purchased the shirt but I wasn't even given a minute to look around the store. I am furious.

I could not participate in Easter events, as Orbit's lack of communication left me no time to shop elsewhere. EDITED: they refunded me only $36 of $83.40. No explanation for how they arrived at this amount, except they wish for me to pre-pay postage for returning the wrong item. Refused to email me a Paypal postage label or an itemized receipt. I have never received a receipt, so have no idea what each item cost, taxes and shipping. They claim to have refunded my credit card, when I used Paypal, and they do not have my cc number. WHY did I order from them, when a Security warning comes up on their order form? I blame myself for that. RESOLVED: Orbit ignored Paypal's request for a response. Paypal refunded me the full amount. This ordeal resulted in not having Easter supplies, and dragged on from mid-March to April 27. Imagine Easter without your hustka and pysanka supplies. I had to make pysanky with paraffin wax and crochet hooks. It was especially painful during Ukraine genocide. I am still willing to return wrong item, when they send me postage label.

I sort of have to avoid Shades of Grey because I almost always end up buying something. This was the store I bought my first pair of "expensive" jeans, and I absolutely loved them. If you like to wear more unique brands, this store carries lines from New York and L.A., including Line & Dot, Anlo and Yumi Kim. The quality is fantastic - luscious, cozy, elegant fabrics and designs - sexy & sophisticated, inspired by more than a hint of Paris, and most of the pricing is reasonable, although there are a few higher-end price tags about the store.
