They're all great. Awesome customer service team up front and the auto service team is top tier. Always saving me money on any vehicle repairs and maintenance. Winter tire swap overs and storage are done within 15 minutes as well as oil changes. 3 vehicles and they've all been maintained by the CT staff from day one. People are funny when dealing with cars, most people abuse their vehicles then expect miracles from mechanics. If you're bringing your car for brakes every 10 months, maybe you're driving too aggressively. Check your egos and give everyone a break. read more

I went to replace my car's weak battery, which was still under warranty. The technicians at the service center confirmed that the battery was indeed weak and informed me that they would replace it for free. I also requested them to replace the brake light and the front light (bulbs only), for which they charged me a total of $530 ($470 for labor). Later on, I decided to check the prices at a Mercedes dealership, where I found out that the broken brake lamp only costs $2 and the front lamp costs $24. Additionally, they quoted a labor charge of $157. Comparatively, Canadian Tire charged me $8 for the brake lamp, $40 for the front lamp, and a staggering $470 for labor! This experience has left me disappointed, and I will avoid going to Canadian Tire in the future. (Please note that there were some additional fees that I did not mention.) read more

I had a very bad experience with two cashiers of this store today. My wife and I went to this store to buy a Ninja electric oven, and I also wanted to return an electric grinder that I bought a few days ago for $22. The two cashiers of this store made it difficult for us to return the goods and did not help us at all and treated us very badly. And this caused us to give up buying the Ninja electric oven for $300 from Canadian Tire and we will buy it from another store. Treating the customer right is one of the most important things that a store with a long history should give more importance to. read more

Today I went in to get a pair of windshield wipers for my car. Izzy helped me at the desk, and told me what to purchase. I got home and after watching multiple youtube videos on how to install, none of which looked like MY windshield wipers, I tried to install them with no success. I went back, and Izzy told me to drive up to the service entrance, and she'd help me. Surely I hadn't done it wrongly - I am pretty savvy - but this lovely employee came out without judgement as soon as I drove up, and coached me through it. She was amazing. DO NOT COME HERE FOR TIRE CHANGE!! Booked appointment 2 weeks later for winter tires was told fully booked. On the day of the appointment. Waited 2 hours so they can tell me my rims were sold to another customer. Had to get another set of rims which was more expensive to get it done 4 days later. Waited 1.5 hours that day. Took the car home noticed major vibrations above 50km/hr. Took it back Monday. Tells my wife alignment was bad and wanted $120 to fix it. This car is less than a year old how can alignment be bad. The vibration was caused by imbalance of the wheels. Fixed it for free. But went through hell to get those tires on and wanted to charge more than it should really cost. Crooked location. read more

Talk about poor customer service. Went there early this morning to pick up some garden stuff that was advertised in there flyer. I walked around for a while looking for it , I was then told it was stored outside in the middle of the parking lot. Pay for it then someone would go out and get it for me. I moved my car over and waited 10 min. Walked back to the store and was told they would be right out. After 10 more minutes walked back to the store and asked again. On the way back to my car a young guy came out and finally got what I paid for. The store was not busy and I think 20 minutes is a long time to wait. I was trying to beat the rain before it csme. No luck. Poor service,won't be back anytime soon if I can help it. read more

I have been shopping at this location since they moved to Bayview a few years back. It is my go to store for home improvement goods, sporting goods and pretty much anything else I need for the home. Staff have been very helpful when I need assistance. Staff always know what isle something is located in. The store has a good selection fo products and the garden centre is open all season, which is nice. I also find the rewards programme to be one of the best. Occasionally I have had problems: product did not work, bought product that had been returned, but missing parts, but each time, the store felt with the issue quickly and to my satisfaction. read more

(First, off topic, I'd like to say I like their Auto Department). So today I went to buy a five pack of garden or leaf bags at CT. Lots present at $2.99...not on sale. Overhead there hung a price match sign . Three minutes away Home Depot had the same type of five pack for $2.47. Dealing with the Service Desk clerk was pleasant . The clerk checked with her manager and was told "No". The clerk told her manager that the only difference was the logo so I'm confused why a price match is offered and refused. I suggest that CT remove the price match sign directly over the leaf bags or state that they only price match with stores with the CT logo (that is Canadian Tire stores). No sale. read more

The worst service ever I had. They broke my car in the shop and then they charged me for the damage they made! ($2200) In addition, they kept my car there for 5 days and every day they told me your car is ready tomorrow!! Surprisingly after only 3 weeks another part of my car broke due to the bad job of their technician and I paid another $2000 to repair (not in Canadian tire this time) Unfortunately, the customer relations office of the Canadian Tire escaped from the situation and pass the decision to the auto repair shop. That was funny because I was complaining about the manager and they referred me to the same person that I was complaining. Anyway, that's a shame for a Canadian Business. my father was collecting canadian tire money for years. he gave his collection to me for christmas and told me to go get winter tires for my car, which was needed and i wasnt about to do it. i went in to get a set that was on sale. i made it clear the ones that i needed. they put on the wrong ones. i had to call in and go back for them to change it over. there was a difference in price and they wouldnt apply the usage for the canadian tire money. i felt so stupid telling my father this. i felt like he wasted his time collecting this fake money just for it to go out the window. i'll never spend money here again or suggest the store in itself, to other people. read more

I went to Canadian tire to get a safety certificate because I needed it for a position I was getting. I drive a newer car (2014). The vehicle itself is checked regularly at the dealership where I bought it and you must maintain the regular maintenance checkups to keep your warranty valid. The technician took it for a drive and at the end they said that I needed new front brakes. That's the pads and rotors. Here's the problem, 6 months earlier we got the brakes done at the dealership and to me they felt great. The last set of brakes we had were when we bought the vehicle. So that's 3yrs. I told the dealership and they said that it's impossible and they made an appointment for me right away. 3 days later when I took it in the maintenance supervisor took me to my car and the technician showed me that they were fine. I'll let you take from the story what you want. I went to Canadian tire in the first place because it was close and they said come right in. I know better now. Just a bunch of clown's. I went in for an oil change a few days ago and today I noticed that my driveway and the street was full of oil stains. I returned to the store and after looking at it they said that the oil cap was missing. The oil got all over the engine and even after replacing the oil the oil cap and cleaning the engine my car smells like oil. They seemed as if they really weren't bothered by their mistake and said that it happens sometimes. THey did send me home with a free box of TSP to use go try and clean my driveway I spent 2 mornings this week waiting for my car to be serviced and reserviced there is no TV, wifi, or even magazines to look at while you wait I certainly have better things to do with my time than spend it at Canadian tire and the afternoon trying unsuccessfully to remove the oil stains from the my driveway of my new home. I will never again go to this Canadian tire Not sure where they get their mechanics but IMO they are not qualified and experienced enough to be trusted. Well they screwed up again I had to take it back for the third time it seems they didn't clean the engine properly and it still leaked oil all over my driveway once again ....fingers crossed that the third try is a charm. The location and the fact that you can walk in may seem convenient but do yourself a favour and simply walk away. I spent 6 hours of my life aggravatedwhile waiting for my car to be fixed after a bad oil change 6 hours I will never get back. read more

If i was able to rate this location less than 1 star I would. I experienced the absolute worst customer service experience that I ever had the displeasure of experiencing from the auto repair shop in this location. I have been in the automotive customer service for 27 years and would never dream of treating customers the way I have been treated this past weekend. I went there to buy a tire and get it put on a rim which would have taken them approx 15 minutes but I was told that they could not do it for a couple of days. I questioned as to why that it would take so long when they clearly had nothing in the shop. After they gave me the usual run around I simply stated that I just wanted to purchase the tire and I would bring it elsewhere to have it put on yhe rim. During the sale process the associate was asking for all of my information such as name , phone number,address,and email address. At that point I simply refused to give him all that information and I explained that I only wanted to purchase the tire. Well I guess that he took exception to that because after he finished the transaction instead of just handing me the tire he just put it on the floor and kicked it at me. Nasty experience there once again but I guess it was my own fault for not giving out my information and returning after a previous bad experience. My suggestion is to not go to Canadian Tire if you want to be treated like a paying customer for subpar mechanical work. I will never return read more
