An excellent addition to the area. A cool , well designed space that is in a good location. Recommend it. The staff all seem to be professional and attentive. Keep it up .

Cappuccino with a pain au chocolat and tropical smoothie with an almond croissant

I had a simple but delicious breakfast there with my sister. Nice place, good food and friendly staff. We ordered a pain au chocolat with a cappuccino and an almond croissant with a smoothie. It was good and for myself, the smoothie was fresh and delicious ! A good place to chill and enjoy good food for a decent price! I recommended it and I think I will go again to try their brunch menu

Lovely cafe full of energy and sleepy eyes ;) very good brunch menu, typical to the youngs (20-50's) lol. Nice place to catch up with friends! Food are normal, it's just a cafe, what else can you expect? But really not a bad place to be.

Great little cafe in a quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed coffee here with a friend last Saturday night and it was quite full at 9pm. There was a nice mix of family groups as well as friends and couples.

Tomato pasta and bruschetta

Fairly authentic Italian food with freshly made pizza, pasta and dishes. I shared a classic bruschetta, quinoa vegetable soup, and spicy tomato penne with a friend. All were very flavored and tasty. Good ambiance too, would recommend.

Almond croissant and chai tea as we waited for breakfast

During our trip we stayed about 1 minute away from Canada Water Cafe and constantly passed by and it always smelled amazing! We finally went in one day and the food was just as amazing as the smell. The cafe is cute and the employees were so kind. I wish we would've went in more than we did because it beat a lot of the other breakfast places we tried.

We had a delightful breakfast today at Canada Water Cafe. After getting off the bus it took a minute to orient ourselves but, on the main floor of an office building, we came upon an outdoor sitting area of bright chairs and tables behind a matching bright picket fence. Very welcoming! Inside, we were greeted and seated immediately. I ordered the full breakfast of POACHED eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, and tomatoes. My DH ordered the salmon breakfast sandwich. Both dishes were AMAZING - they looked so good when they were brought to us, I forgot to take pictures! Poached eggs were perfect, the grilled mushrooms had tons of flavor, and the sausage was great. But, my fave part of the meal was DH's salmon sandwich, which was a nutty toast, fresh salmon, arugula greens (known as "rocket" on this side of the pond) and cream cheese. But it wasn't just the ingredients that made this an A+; the ratio of cream cheese and salmon to toast was the best ever! No "let's hold the salmon over the toast to give the illusion of a salmon sandwich" - same with the cream cheese. Anyway! We are in England for another six days and I know we will be back for breakfast again!

Great English breakfast and delicious pizza (also available to take away). All reasonably priced. Pleasant interior. Friendly service. Just a stone's throw away from Canada Water tube station.

Excellent coffee but a bit on the expensive side. The place does look good although it can get really crammed at times.

I had to have a piece. This sourdough crust pizza is gee wholly so amazing. You know it's good when you eat the entire crust when you normally don't (sorry-I'm a picky crust eater and will only eat it if it's not dry/tough/hard once it's cooled down). Man. The crust is chewy, flaky and has the perfect bite. Get a side of pesto to dip it with if you like sauce like me. Sauzzzzzzeeeeee mmmm. Organic lemonade made with Sicilian Lemons. Not overly tart and a nice compliment and refreshing beverage to clear your palate for the next bite. It's like a liquified intermezzo sorbet for to go. Get itttt. YUM YUM

As soon as we walked to the door the staff was just amazing and asked us where would we like to be seated. We ordered a margarita pizza to share. Food was amazing can't wait to dine here again to explore more of the menu.

Throughout my stay in this world I've come upon many a calzone, constantly in search of the 'right one', but only now have I ascertained that one of the world's best calzone is to be found here, in La Luna. Delightfully, they also know exactly how to make a decent Martini. Do recommend. Hard.

It is a simple place with a nice ambiance and the aroma of garlic in the air as we entered. Many of the staff are Italians, a good thing at an Italian restaurant, with the chef hailing from bella Napoli. The pizza oven looks authentic, but it appeared out of use until the pizzaiuolo (pizza maker) put our garlic bread inside to bake. Turns out it is gas fired. We started with a Caprese Salad - "fresh (buffalo) mozzarella cheese, tomato, basil, and olive oil" (£6.90) - as well as an order of garlic bread (£3) as previously mentioned. The mozzarella was neither fresh nor Mozzarella di Bufala as far as I could tell and there were just four large, halved cherry tomatoes surrounding the ball of cheese which was topped with one lonely basil leaf. There was a "skin" on the outside of the mozzarella and it did not ooze liquid, indicating that it wIt was not the worst Caprese I have had, but it was far from the best. The garlic bread was actually pizza dough topped with olive oil and salt, then baked in the gas oven. It was tasty and a decent value. I also had a half bottle of house red wine (£6.90), a Merlot which was smooth, light, and tasty. I saw that they had a Salsiccia e Friarielli (sausage and broccoli rabe sautéed in olive oil) Pizza (£9.90) on the menu, so I asked if they could make me a pasta dish with sausage and friarielli as well, a request to which they readily agreed. Bravo! The pasta was quite tasty and well prepared, indicating that the Neapolitan chef knew what he was doing. They charged me the same for the pasta as they do for the pizza (£9.90). My wife's Spaghetti Carbonara (£8.50) was made with cream, pancetta, and egg and she enjoyed it very much even though it was "a bit too salty". It was a decent portion and a very good value for the price, but authentic it was not as you would never find cream as an ingredient in a carbonara in Italy. I would have given them an extra "BOMB" had the Caprese salad been better and more fresh and the carbonara prepared more traditionally. CombatCritic Gives La Luna 6 Bombs Out Of 10 ... I went for a 10inch "Vegetarian" which comes with Basilico pizza (tomato) sauce, roasted aubergine, courgette (which I omitted due to not being the biggest fan of courgette) and red peppers with red onions, chopped fresh tomato, basil and the option to have vegan cheese (to replace the Vegetarian mozzarella), and I was pleasantly surprised! When you think of takeaway pizza, you think greasy, unhealthy stodge... Well let me tell you something, takeaway pizza doesn't have to be greasy nor stodge. Straight up, this pizza was aaabsolutely delicious. The options Basilico have for Vegans aren't the most diverse, but it was actually really tasty, and I would most definitely have it again. It wasn't ridiculously priced (as people always seem to think Vegan food is) and the delivery time was really reasonable - way better than other "mainstream" pizza delivery companies. It also tasted much fresher, the base wasn't stodgy, and I didn't hate myself after eating it. So all in all, a really positive experience I would recommend you all try sometime Just thought it worth adding: as a long time cheese lover (honestly, I used to love cheese on everything: pizza, pasta, rice, soup, anything and was even nicknamed "Cheesus" by a couple of friends, thanks guys) - I was so dubious of Vegan cheese, however I was pleasantly surprised. The cheese they used was melty, creamy, and delicious! After calling them to enquire about the deliciousness, I found out it was Violife Mozzarella, which I've actually tried again since and it really does work well melted on top of things, and lasts a lot longer in the fridge than non-Vegan cheese! So next time you fancy takeaway pizza, rather than Domino's/Pizza Hut why not try something a bit different, that's super tasty and also supporting a smaller business!
