Maytag Coin Laundry - Blouse strap torn off after wash and fold service

It had to have been purposely done, although im not sure why, because i was very nice and polite when dropping off my laundry. I have washed my own clothes before and the same blouses did not get damaged. When I contacted the business, the employee asked a series of questions. I was asked about the damage of the clothes, what date I dropped my clothes off to them, and to bring a copy of the tag stapled to the bag of completed laundry, along with the damaged clothes. I was asked to return to the business to show the damaged clothing. When I arrived and showed them the clothing, the staff became very unpleasant and rude. I was shocked as to how I could pay for a service, my clothes are damaged in the process, and the employees take absolutely no responsibility for what happened. Even though they had proof in their own records of the day I dropped the clothes off and I was able to show a tag that was placed on the bags of completed clothes, they still denied it was their fault. Not only were they very rude to me and denied responsibility, they did not even offer a store credit, a refund of the amount I paid for the service, or at the very least an apology. The employees at this laundry mat are very unprofessional when resolving issues to say the least! Drop your clothes off here at your own risk! I would not recommend coming to this laundry mat or paying for the wash and fold service if you value your belongings. I will be contacting the better business bureau regarding this situation

It was run down for a bit but now thanks to new owners it is looking better than ever. It's located in a shopping strip behind the Waffle House and the ever popular El Don Mexican restaurant is a couple of doors down from the place. There are ample of parking and even though there are no parking spots directly in front of the store; still it's not a far walk...I say about 3-4 yards at the most. (This is important if you have lots of stuff to wash and have to haul your stuff back and forth.) You can however park right in front of the store-unload your stuff on the side walk and then go and park. This is what a lot of people do here. The store is unattended and open 24 hours with surveillance cameras all around the store. The store is cash only. They have a couple of quarter machines at the front. I was there about 11 AM and there shopping center was pretty busy. Lots of people around and no bums hanging out begging for change or smoking cigarettes. The area is pretty safe during the day time. But still I would definitely exercise common sense.... (There is a Food Depot Grocery store across the street and the store manager says people come in all the time asking for quarters and getting change to do laundry. I was able to buy detergent there and got cash back with my debt card with no problem.) When I was there the lovely owner Derrick was there sprucing the place up and doing some minor repair work. The place was very clean with no visible trash on the floor and the top of the machine where people pour their soap was clean too. I used 2 of their four loaders and 2 double loaders for this trip. The vending prices are of the following: $2.50 for double loaders. $.50 extra for the super wash $4.50 for 4 loaders. $4.75 for super wash. 7min. per quarter for dry. I was able to wash all the bedding, blankets and a two weeks worth of dark clothes in under 2 hours. The dryers were nice and hot. My stuff got dry in no time. Best part...I still had about $11 left out of $25.00 so off to the taco truck I go....reward time! Be back in a week or so to wash more bedding! Thanks Derrick and team! You guys are great! 1273rd review 3/17/2018 193rd for 2018

You walk in and it's very clean and the owner was there when I was last there and he talked to me for a little bit too. Told me how everything works and offered to help me if I needed any assistance. Super good on the customer service tip. It has tons of washers and dryers, obviously. It has a little area that's kind of like a patio. You can sit out under a covered area and wait for clothes. It actually has a little children's place as well so the kids can sit down and play while you wait as well. They have chairs scattered around it so you can find some seating near your washer or dryer machine if you so decide to do that as well. You basically get a card that you put money on. Or you can pay on the app, that's also an option as well. The washer prices start at $4 and some change and go up from there. The dryer prices are about $2.50 or so for 30 minutes. And they're actually really big. So at the end of the day you can fit a lot in one without overstuffing. If you're in the area and have a need for it, this this spot would be pretty good. It's new and still very well kept.

Maybe the idea of "customer service" is overrated in your book and you like it when a retailer humiliates you in front of others? If so, then In & Out Cleaners is your place to patronize. I took in 5 shirts. 4 were collared button down men's cotton shirts. The 5th was a Nehru collar type button down men's cotton shirt. The day before, I had walked in to ask about their pricing. I was told it was $1.39 for any laundered men's shirt. But, on this day in question, the 5th Nehru collar shirt was charged at $4.50. When I asked about it, the clerk (an older, middle-aged man) told me that it was special and could not go on the same machine as the others. It would have to be dry cleaned. If this had been the first time I ever took that shirt in for cleaning, I might have fallen for it. But, I've owned that shirt for a number of years and taken it in with the others more times than I can recount. Every other dry cleaners has laundered and pressed it with no complaint. So, I asked him to remove that 5th shirt from the ticket and I would take it back before they even started working on it. That's when the fireworks began! He yelled at me "No! No! No!" and gathered up all 5 shirts. He pushed them in my face. He wouldn't listen to any reason. By then, another customer was in the store. It was a humiliating experience. I feel as if this person could be so socially unstable as to act out over this minor incident, there is no predicting how they might act if you had a serious conflict - like a damaged blouse or a lost article of clothing in their care. Go in at your own risk. But know that across the street next to the Dunkin Donuts, there is another cleaner and in every direction a few blocks further, there are others. There is no reason to subject yourself to caustic behavior just for a cheap dry cleaning.

We are new to the area and have been so behind on unpacking and laundry. I decided to take a chance with their services. I had about 50 pounds of laundry (I know, don't judge me lol). I set my pick up and delivery date online. Shortly after, I received a text confirmation. I used the code "20PICK" for 20% off first time pick up and delivery. On pick up date, I was informed via text when the driver was en route to my home. I set my bags of laundry on the porch in laundry bags. Once the driver picked them up, I was informed via text that they were taken off the porch. The next day, I received another text that the driver was en route back to my house and a final text confirming drop off. I could not believe my eyes how smoothly this process went. From the moment I opened my door, I SMELLED MY LAUNDRY THROUGH THE BAGS. Not only did I smell my laundry, everything was SO neatly folded and hung up. I also received my personal laundry bags back. The clothes were folded and stacked neatly in tighter bags to ensure the clothes did not come unfolded. I have military parents -- even they would be impressed with the innate attention to detail these folks gave to my laundry. The pricing is extremely reasonable (even without a coupon). I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I highly recommend The Laundry Link and I will be taking full advantage of their services and being in their delivery zone.
