We are proud of our son and grateful for his admission to Bentley University. However, calling it…read more"a top university with a significant merit scholarship" is an obvious attempt to inflate the outcome. A $10,000 merit award is fairly common among Lexington High School seniors. Our son's dream school was Babson College, and that was the goal we worked toward for years. After several years of working with Livius, his final SAT score was 1350. That is not a terrible score, but it is not impressive in Lexington, especially among Asian students. We ultimately sought additional support elsewhere. It is inappropriate to now imply that the entire result is solely your achievement. The core issue remains the sales process. We were strongly persuaded to purchase a large prepaid package, and were told at the time that it might even be insufficient for what our son would need. Based on that representation, we signed the so-called "non-refundable" agreement. After years of services, we still have more than 10 unused hours left. That alone speaks for itself. When we recently inquired about the remaining balance, the response was dismissive and focused only on the contract clause, without any acknowledgment of the inaccurate projections used to sell the package. Repeating "you signed a contract" while ignoring the context is not customer care -- it is deflection. Using ambiguous language to magnify results and take credit, while dismissing legitimate concerns about unused prepaid services, reflects poorly on a company that charges premium prices. We stand by our review.

At one point, I was considering to…read morewithdraw him from the program, because driving him to Lexington from Boston every Friday is horrible, it takes me more than an hour on the road, plus 2 hours class, my whole afternoon is gone. I found another program closer to home, before I pay for it, I raised my consideration to my son, but he rejected that., and would like to continue at RSM That really surprise me!! I know my son, he does not like to do extra activity, I really want to know what magic that the school has done to him! The curriculum that RSM uses is really advance, I can see a significant improvement that my son has in both school and his logical thinking. I wish I heard about RSM earlier, so I can start my son in the program earlier, because I heard that their elementary school curriculum is very helpful and can develop good reasoning skills. ps. feel free to talk to the principal, the head teacher or any of the staff members, very helpful and friendly

A week before classes are to commence, they call to inform me that they don't have space anymore, and when I ask them to refund registration fee, they say it's not refundable! I am still incredulous and trying to make sense of how they will bear no responsibility for their dysfunctional management, rather refuse to return the fee that *they* made me pay in the first place after falsely confirming availability. Unbelievable! Absolutely unbelievable!

Beyond teaching the material, he shared practical strategies to approach problems and succeed on test day. I was able to improve my SAT score from 1370 to 1540, something I couldn't have imagined before working with him. His teaching style is engaging, patient, and always tailored to your needs. If you're looking for an SAT tutor who genuinely cares about your success, Chris is the one to choose!   From mom: As a mom of six, I have used many tutors, and I cannot recommend Chris at Summit enough. When my son was paired with Chris, Chris immediately contacted me to explain his approach. We had a wonderful, unrushed conversation. Chris clearly communicated with me after each meeting. My son said that Chris not only helped him drastically improve his score from a 1370 to a 1540 but also helped him understand and appreciate math. Chris is incredibly competent but also incredibly kind. My son shared that Chris was always cheerful and avoided criticism but challenged him appropriately. My son said that he was one of the best teachers that he had had. Margaret who was our contact person at Summit was incredibly helpful and supportive. I cannot praise this company enough! My son will be attending Harvard in the fall. Summit helped make his dream a reality. We will be using Summit for our next five children. Thank you Margaret and Chris!
