Just finished a Futures trading course at Online Trading Academy (OTA) with Jerry Baldwin as the Instructor. During one of my initial interviews at OTA, my Education Counselor, John Moran, suggested I consider the Futures program and thought this would be a nice way for me to progress with my trading education. And I'm so glad he did! I enjoyed the class, learned a lot, and am enthusiastic about trading Futures. This is the second course I have taken with OTA and it certainly reinforced my original decision to come to OTA for stock market training. I knew absolutely nothing about futures before the course and within 3.5 days I was able to properly set-up and execute profitable trades. Obviously, I still have a way to go, but continuing to use the tools provided by OTA I believe I will become a successful trader. The course is conducted during trading hours and uses real time examples for practice sessions instead of only PowerPoint examples that were cherry picked to illustrate a particular trading situation. The class included people with various levels of trading experience yet the Instructor did a great job or making sure I did not get left behind and he was not satisfied until he was sure I understood and was able to comprehend the course material. The Instructor did a nice job of making this learning experience fun, and everyone liked his teaching style. I have taken stock market training courses from other educational companies and they did not compare to the scope and depth of the material covered by OTA. The Support Staff at the Boston/Natick facility, especially Spencer and Donna, could not have been more helpful and accommodating to ensure a very positive training experience. Along with the training, breakfast and lunch were provided every day by OTA, which was a nice touch. I would suggest that anyone interested in learning how to trade the market get the proper education necessary to be successful. It is well worth spending the funds which will provide tremendous financial returns by learning to trade the right way. And if you're interested in trading Futures I would definitely recommend Jerry Baldwin as your Instructor. I'm amazed at what OTA can teach in a 5 day course. You owe it to yourself to at least include Online Trading Academy in your decision making process. read more

I have been an OTA member for a number of years. I thought that I have experienced all that the instructors and staff had to offer. This week experience tops it all. Tim Pesut is a fantastic instructor and great advisor. He uses psychology in his teaching style and make sure all the questions presented to him are well explained and understood by all in the class. When he heard my issues with trade station the first day of class introduction he immediately came to me and volunteered to help me resolve the problem. That is the type of person he is I especially want to thank the Student Support Specialist Spencer Gorny for his advice and counsel. I just took my eighth or ninth class at OTA. I signed up when I realized that 40 years of working as a successful portfolio manager might not have totally prepared me for a comfortable retirement if the stock market did not cooperate over the next 20 years. I need and want to make money in any environment, not just bull markets. OTA teaches students to trade in asset categories like foreign exchange and options that most people falsely believe to be risky, random and zero sum. With their patented system, incredible instructors and extensive resources, I am already earning positive returns in the asset classes I have traded, and I feel I have just scratched the surface. I am so fortunate to have found this academy. I took the three-day Market Timing class with John Larsen and learned so much that I immediately signed up for Core Strategy. I have completed .several courses and can tell you that this is the education I have always wanted. I have been a student at Online Trading Academy since last July and have been extremely pleased with the education I am receiving. The instructors are very knowledgeable and so willing to help and answer all questions. There is an unbelievable amount of support and resources once you leave the classroom to help with planning and trading. Had an amazing 3 day weekend at the platform immersion class offered at Online Trading Academy Boston. The ability to be Hands-On and work with the tradestation platform ahead of any future classes is tremendously valuable. Creating a comfort zone with the platform more fully equipped the student to focus on the content of their next asset class rather than the navigation of the platform.
