The first day, the battery of my daughter's robot "was not charged", and she ended up playing air hockey all day. She went in with familiarity of programming in scratch, other visual based programming, and significant background in OSMO coding. Throughout the whole week, she made only one program to make the robot go forward for 60 seconds. The final day, there was some robot fighting as the culminating event, which seemed to mean that the kids aim the robots at each other and say go straight. I was talking to my daughter about the week and reading her certificate. I noticed that the "recommendation section" is a paragraph about another kid (a boy named Zachary) instead of my child. All and all, would never go back. The instructors seemed like fine kids, and I cannot say anything was untoward. Just a disappointment.

This was a terrible acting experience. I have acted in theatre before and wanted to jump back into…read morethe stage. I didn't really learn much...at all. When he finished up the 5-week course by telling the most talented and passionate performer in the class that she displayed "the most terrible acting (he) had seen all year", we all reached the mutual consensus that we wasted $350 and learned way more from each other than we did from the instructor. The word tossed around after class was "crazy", and I am sure that the 7 of us who took it will never take another of his classes again.

I took the TV and Film Acting course with Brianne Beatrice, which is a 6 week, 3-hour class…read more Brianne was wonderful. Brianne's style is a "Tell you like it is!" method, meaning to sober up anyone with visions of grandeur of what the industry is all about and what you as an actor can expect. We prepared monologues for class, after the first half was spent in lecture on the Stanford Meisner approach and audition protocols, and how to meet industry expectations. I learned new things about myself, which is helping me develop a stronger foundation and preparation for opportunities. Brianne has been acting since she was five, actress, and director of plays, and a professor at a local college. (Visit her FB page.) The course is on Tremont Street in the city, so bring your quarters or take public transportation. Near the NE Medical Center/Orange Line Stop. And walking distance from both NEMC and Back Bay.

I have been working with Liz over the past year during an extremely difficult and transitional time…read morein my life. I felt completely overwhelmed, lost, scared, and static. I came to her feeling like a shell of myself, not knowing what to do. From the beginning of working with her, she immediately made me feel safe, heard, and at peace. At times, I felt like my issues were too much, too much for her to even take in, but that anxiety completely went away with her comfort and understanding. Through her healing using brain integration, I have not only been able to cope with the recent traumatic events in my life, but also navigate through major depression and helplessness. Additionally, her healing sessions have had positive physical effects on my body - I no longer suffer from acid reflux and stomach ulcers, which I have had for over 25 years. I am currently in menopause and my joint pain symptoms have improved, and my insomnia has decreased. There aren't words that can express how thankful I am for her healing and care. Also, I live on the West Coast of the United States, so we work remotely. Energy healing works! Liz is proof.

She is very intuitive, and really knows her stuff. She is incredibly gentle and also very strong and not afraid to give you her perspective. She is the kind of person who makes you feel understood and who lets you be yourself. She celebrates who I am and who others are, and has a knack for empowering you to be fully yourself. She has a clear, kind way of seeing things and often sees things that I might miss. And she can give you this wisdom in a way that is respectful of your dignity. She has a stillness and peace about her that is very healing. She's very genuine and real. Since I started working with her I have been feeling much better emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically. Her presence is loving and calm. She is a true healer, and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone seeking healing and well being. So grateful to her. Rabbi Shifra Freewoman
