They didn't even give fathers an alternative place to wait, they were basically like, "Get out". They also made this announcement at the end of the recital. They did not even give fathers a designated place to wait for their children or a meeting place when they were done changing. These policies do not appear to account for single caregivers who are male. Very sexist and thoughtless. I know it is not just me that feels this way about the policy as I have known other father's of students there who said they felt alienated about the policy and also from the school in general as well. Instructor Nicole Rizzo appeared to be cold whenever I encountered her. She never smiled at me other other parents and seems short, condescending and rude. The whole atmosphere around the school seemed cliquey. Also, their business initials are a joke, MDA. Don't they know that when people hear those initials they immediately think Muscular Dystrophy Association?

She withdrew soon after and the company did nothing to help recoup any of the $650 that they took from us. Did not return follow up emails and avoided answering very direct and specific questions. Overall I must say the first day was the last time I'd attend a normal gym primarily. The whole coaching staff is absolutely amazing as well as the fighters they have. Everyone wants you to be a better you!! I love coming here and look forward to someday competing with/for them. Suzanne has a real gift for explaining things and was extremely patient. The workshop was so much fun. We got handouts that I now keep in my camera bag for easy reference. We were given assignments and instructions before each activity. We had time then to practice then gather back as a group. After the class we went for coffee and had an opportunity to share our photos and get feedback from Suzanne. It was the best photography class I've ever had. I can't wait to take another when I return to Boston. I highly recommend the Curious Soul Photo School!

I was going away for a month for vacation and it was part of their attendance policy that I couldn't continue being on the team due to the absences I would accumulate, which I understood. They had asked me if I was still interested when I was back from vacation though. I decided to not cheer competitively that season to focus on school. Definitely don't come here if you can't commit. It's important to attend all of the practices because it is a team sport at the end of the day. It's not fair to others on the team either which is the reason for attendance policy. One person not showing up messes up the plan for the practice & one less stunt group to work on. Cheer gyms, in general, are tough environments to be in but coaches do mean well! The coaches never have ill intent and only want the best for you. Just know that you will miss a lot of important events such as birthday parties, etc but that's part of the commitment & what you sign up for. You can't expect to go to comps and expect to win if you only put 50% effort. Mentality & simply just showing up to put in the work plays a large role... in not only cheer but life in general. I had a great experience cheering here and wouldn't have wanted to cheer anywhere else for my last year of all-star. It is very costly but rewarding sport! Competitions are super fun and I made friends with many of my teammates, who I still keep in touch with. I was at another cheer gym closer by to where I'm from (South Shore) and this gym is superior; definitely the best cheer gym in New England. People from all over NH, Maine, MA, and I've even met people from NJ come three times a week to practice.

She also has improved every season. The coaches are top notch. The owners clearly know how to run a successful program. As a family we appreciate the time, effort and energy it takes to make great teams. Cheer is not an inexpensive sport so we especially like that there is an attendance policy. My daughter has loved each team she has been on, she especially loves the classes offered.
