Staff were cordial but ultimately I didn't get much of what I went there for. They had to order a part for an installation I badly needed .. a week later, it hadn't arrived for my install appt which caused us a lot of trouble. I had my motorhome in for a few maintenance items, left with my "jacks down" beeper binging which it did for the 10 hrs to our next location. I asked to have propane filled .. it was not. The young guy at the parts desk was polite but couldn't find the part i ordered and when i barely stepped in to point it out to him because i could see it the fat lesbian manager came over and yelled at me to get out from behind the counter when i had already gotten my part and was leaving. Watch when buying a Rv from Camping world. We bought a Rv, and at signing we were offered Good Sam plan insurance. We were told that if we needed a tow or had problems with RV we would use Good Sam. We were told we could cancel anytime, the next day we decide we didn't want it. The sales person who had helped us said you can't cancel it, it was written in your contract, I spoke with camping world and explained what happen, there is nothing they can do it is in the contract. This company is extremely dishonest and does not stand behind their products. I purchased a new Jayco Travel trailer in Feb 2023. When I went to pick up the trailer, I was informed that the fresh-water tank was leaking. Jayco/Camping World required two months to complete the repairs. We went camping only to discover that neither the AC nor the refrigerator were working. Another two months for repairs as well as the need to find where they had moved our RV when they closed the Jayco Sales lot (we were not contacted by Camping World). Supposedly, the service department winterized our RV; however, when I went to flush out the water lines, I didn't see any of the pink anti-freeze. The door had the Camping World sticker making indicating that they had winterized. After one more day of attempted camping, I found that the water heater was not working, and the kitchen faucet had a major leak. While at Camping World, more water line components were discovered broken. Jayco does not appear to perform any QA or product testing to verify they have a good/working product prior to delivery. Camping World does not stand behind the warranty or the products they sell. Avoid this company. read more

Buyers beware!! Our experience started out good and then it took a turn. We were discussing prices and laid out what we wanted to put down and what we wanted to pay, they said it would work and they would call us when a bank accepted the financing. They called us a couple days later said it was a done deal so we came in and signed the paper work. Then we get a call saying they needed more money for the down payment. We stated we didn't want to put more money down. They offered to do a trade. We negotiated a trade and were told it was a done deal and to come sign paperwork again the next day. Later that day we got a call saying the trade was no good. We got told twice everything was done and ready to go. TWICE! And it was never good to go. Do not recommend this place! Super disappointed in this place. We needed a sway control hitch for our camper. It's almost $800 for the product. There was a mix-up with the product we needed. Every time they called from parts, they wouldn't leave a message so I never knew what they were calling for. I didn't answer because I didn't have the number saved. Long story short, I have been back and forth trying to figure out what to get so I can get back on the road with my camper to take it home. I went in a few hours before close on a Saturday to get the hitch and Alanzo in parts told me a tech should look at it with the trailer (hooked up to the truck) to make sure it works. Alanzo was as helpful as he could be, but they said the techs were all leaving early and no one would wait 30-40 minutes for us to bring the trailer back. This is all despite the fact that they didn't close for hours. We got home to hook up the hitch ourselves and sure enough, it doesn't fit at all. They said it was a universal hitch, recommended for all airstreams. It doesn't even fit on the tongue properly. They're closed tomorrow, the day we're supposed to hit the road, and we just have a simple ball hitch for a 34 foot trailer. I wish they could have extended a little extra effort, help, customer service, etc. to make sure we have what we need to travel safely. They want your money but they're not really interested in helping people. read more

Worse place I have ever been to. When we walked in there was six employees just standing there talking, didn't say a word. We looked around couldn't find the main thing we needed so we walked over to the service/parts department, explained to the guy sitting behind the counter what we were looking for. He told us "oh well I don't work in this department" He walked into the back and was gone for a good 10mins to just come out and tell us I can't find anyone. All the while we are standing there we see about 9 different employees just standing around talking to each other not helping anyone. We did find a window shade we needed so we walked over to the counter to pay. There were two employees sitting and talking at the front desk about 20ft away from us and saw us ( I made eye contact with one that's how I know she saw me) they did nothing just kept talking. Finally someone walking by asked us if we needed to check out. When we said yes , She went to get the cashier from outside. When the cashier came in she said " they should really pay me more for this" Then got all huffy when we didn't want to sign up for the membership " cause they make a commission off it". I would order something online and wait for in to come back in before going back to this store. read more

Camping World in Edmond, Ok. is not what I expected from a legitimate business. I bought a large 41 ft RV from them and any little thing that breaks or fails requires me to bring in this massive RV and leave if for days or weeks from what I hear to fix legitimate issues. I have been basically repairing almost everything that has failed on this trailer. Called them multiple times to reason with sales and management to replace something small and they tell me "No" you have to bring it in. I purchase every warranty they have and yet can't use it unless I bring in the trailer. Customer service is not what I thought it was when it came to them. I traded another trailer from a competitor, and they came out to fix the small stuff that it had issues with. I would not trust them when it comes to sales because they will say anything to get the sale including lying about what it would cost to do TT&L that I had rolled into the note and they were off on that by $2000 that had to come directly out-of-pocket on my part. I argued with management about this, and they just said sorry, like no big deal we already got the sale. The worst service experience. From the day I picked up my unit to the amount of time they had it in for service. It seems like I could have had a whole new RV built from scratch. 9 weeks. It took them 9 weeks for mostly warranty issues that should have been addressed and fixed before selling it to me. I get that is what the first Service appointment is for, however I added a Tankless water heater and they replaced a tongue jack. 9 weeks later, It was finally ready for me to pick up. Not to mention the service advisor I was dealing with had no Idea how to answer any questions about my unit. Anytime I was contacted from service it was to sell me on some more service packages. The service advisor was not very knowledgeable or helpful. I will not be bringing my RV back to camping world for service. I will search for another place. After Buying the Unit, The day I picked it up my salesman wasn't there to walk me through the unit and show me how everything worked. I had to go in and find someone to help me. The guy that helped me rushed through it and nothing was thorough. If I could do it all again, I would have checked out either wades RV or another variety. read more

The purchase experience was fine and I like their store. If I said that their service dept was a total nightmare I would be grossly under stating how truly horrible it is. I have been back at least 10 times. You wait a month for an appointment and when you drop it off it sits in a back lot for weeks untouched. They are completely unapologetic and I have had to return for the same issues multiple times. We brought our fifth wheel in for some work, after we received a $3,000 bill I started looking over what they had done. There were several things that we were charged for that were not completed. We have called several times and getting someone to call you back is a nightmare! When you finally talk to someone they argue with you. They had billed is parts and labor to replace 3 faucets (that did not need replaced) that were not done. They winterized our RV and we did not ask for that since we are living in it. Very disappointed in the service we received here, from the finance and business managers. After speaking with a salesman via text, we told him what we were interested in, and exactly how much we had to put down. We ran our credit, and he took all of the information to the finance manager. I was told that the finance manager had reviewed things and would make it work for us, and to come on in. So, we drove in, in the pouring rain, to see what they could do for us. We arrived at 1030 and the salesman had prepped the camper-we decided to look at another one and ended up liking it more. Signed some papers, RV was sent back to the shop for propane and cleaning, etc., and we were told just waiting on paperwork to come back from the credit union. We sat there for FIVE HOURS-the only customers in the whole store. Kept getting told it was the bank holding things up, and then started getting pushed to pay for insurance. I told them I wanted to make sure we had a deal before I paid for the insurance and was told the deal was done, and they needed the insurance verification. So I paid for the insurance-which was not cheap. So after all that, and all the time spent there, the finance guy came out and said he had the deal done and all we needed to do was double our down payment! We of course said no-that was not what we had agreed upon. He kept pushing and telling us this would be better. Again, we told him no, you knew our credit, down payment and terms before we came here! He left and had someone else come tell us that our agreed upon down payment no longer would work. An ENTIRE day of being screwed around! They did not reach back out, try to do anything different, and acted mad when we would not agree to pay double the down payment. Most of their trailers will come with a 15 year loan, even says so on the website, but their research shows you'll trade it or sell in 3-4 years. I have been trying to get my RV Travel Trailer repaired at Camping world for about a year now. I just called the good sam extended service plan department to see why the repairs have not been approved yet. It appears that the camping world service department has failed to contact the service agreement to get approval. I would not recommend the camping world service department. The other experiences that I have had have been good. I have been working with Robert E. He typically does not return email messages and does a poor job keeping his clients informed about their service. The reason that I purchased the extended service plan and purchased my Travel Trailer at Camping World of Oklahoma City was that I wanted a close company to take care of my travel trailer. Camping World forgets that having a great service department is essential to long-term growth. I will be shopping at another shop for my next travel trailer. We purchase a new Rockwood Geo-Pro from this place maybe 31 days ago . We rolled the awning out a few days ago and noticed a small tear in it..please keep in mind this was the first time we opened it .Call them was told to bring it in(went to Anderson road camping world) so i did told they would call me back in a couple of days after a week i went to check on it and was told might be a 2 weeks before they got an ok to fix the awning. 7/24/2024 got a call saying they would not cover the awning..OHH did i mention we bought an extended warranty also few thousand for that . I would caution anyone from using these guys. After shopping for and being told/confirmed that the unit we were interested in was rated to to 8000 pounds (we specifically were shopping for a class A that would pull 8000) the deal was done. We took the unit on a trip from Oklahoma to California the next day (as was the plan). We quickly realized that the generator wouldn't run which means the large AC units in the rig wouldn't work. So there we were, in the desert, in August, with elderly family members with no AC and 105 daytime temps. We were told that the camping world in Amarillo could help but they failed to mention it had been permanently closed down. We pushed through to Albuquerque hoping they would be able to repair the generator but they blew us off and were absolutely no help whatsoever. Anyway, after the trip, we brought the unit back to CW to have the appropriate hitch installed as was agreed during the purchase. They kept it for almost 3 months, called and said it was ready, it most certainly was not. That's when the service manager mentioned that this unit was only rated for 5000 pounds and he wasn't sure why we asked them to put a 8000 hitch on it. The interesting thing was, instead of installing an 8000, they actually installed a 10k. That was when we realized that these guys were playing games and honestly I think they were hoping we would leave with the 10k hitch on it so they could void the warranty. When I approached the GM about what I believe to be a fraudulent sale, his "recommendation" was that I could trade in the unit they sold me on another unit and take the $25k hit in depreciation and eat the $7500 in TTL that I had already paid the state. I was on the phone with my attorney before we left the parking lot. Corporate explained they would need 30 days to "investigate" before they could discuss options. 3 days later, they called my attorney and offered to let me trade in this unit for the full asking price. It would seem as though the "investigation" showed them that I had been bold face lied to (as the salesman admitted to on the same day we met with the GM). I'm not interested in trading and refuse to do business with a company that is so willing to lie to their customers. My attorney is already involved, I'm in the process of leaving reviews in as many places as I can find and my fraud complaint will be filed with the Attorney Generals office by end of day. Proceed with caution folks, there are Facebook pages FULL of people that have been ripped off by these guys. Literally 10's of thousands. read more

After watching hours of YouTube reviews on Jaycos, my husband and I decided it was finally time to check them out in person. Camping World of Oklahoma was the closest authorized Jayco dealer, and happened to have two of the models we were interested in on their lot! We were greeted at the door with a hello and then off we went to check them out. Car, not a vehicle - but a dude who works at Camping World - showed us where they were and let us open every door, press every button, ask every question under the sun, and then he let us drive it.!! Long story short, it was a great experience and we had a ton of fun meeting Car and the team at the store. So, whether you are just out to poke around and learn more about a product, or are looking to dive into a new rig, I highly suggest you visit Car Aguirre at Camping World of Oklahoma. This place does not do what they say and or clam as your in there store buying, they promise all kinds of good sounding services but then don't do them. We whet to a dealer so hopefully would not have to deal with a lot of problems when buying a used camper BUT oh boy that's not the case with this place, the so called inspections they clam to do are a JOKE and they charge $950.00 for it. We had two plumbing leaks, the microwave whet out and we had to replace it, I have ordered $300.00 in parts for the refrigerator and the CO/Gas alarm they told me they replaced was not!!!!! so they flat out lied about that so I had to order that $80.00 part. When you call all you get is a big pile of excuses. I will never step foot in this store again. They would have let me drive over 3 hours from Dallas with my trailer for a trade-in only to find out that they sold the trailer I had told them I wanted to buy. If I had not called to double-check, we would have made the drive since they where not planning to call me. When I asked about the trailer they sold from under us, the GM offered no apolgizes, and made no attempt to make the situation better for us, rather he was rude and uncaring. Is this supposed to make you faster and better at your jobs? I digress.. I had been coming to this particular camping world for nearly a year for my 2 Airstream class B's. It's 100 miles from me with another camping world closer. The only reason I came to this one is because they retained Airstream mechanics and service advisors from when this Camping World merged with Airstream of Oklahoma. If you own an Airstream, you understand the benefits of dealing with someone that knows the specificity of your rig. So despite the poor reviews, I endured high prices and long waits to deal with those individuals. My last time I dropped off my Airstream on Jan 6th to service some motorized shades. After repeated failed attempts to reach the service advisor of the past month, I was finally called by a service manager on February 7th telling me my Airstream was complete and ready to be picked up. This was longer than promised, but great. I got a ride for the 100 miles to pick up the Airstream and was about to check out. My service advisor was not there. I learned from the manager the entire Airstream team was gone. None of them were there. The bill was roughly $1300. I noticed some charges that I had not authorized...winterization for roughly $300. I asked about this. The manager told me this was required because of where they stored the Airstream. I explained that was not authorized by me. I was told by the service advisor it would be inside while they worked on it. This was initially supposed to be a one or two day repair. He reluctantly removed the winterization fee. Now I was a little skeptical. I said I wanted to go check out the blind repairs before paying. He said sure. He didn't even go out with me like the service advisor does normally when I've had work done before. Every single blind that I had requested service on (5 total) were in the exact same condition. None had been repaired! Not a single one. I went back inside fuming. I told him none had been touched, which shocked him. He just kept repeating that the paperwork said the work was done. I said it clearly wasn't. I asked him to remove the charges from the bill. He said he couldn't do it! I'm like wtf? Seriously? Why don't you come from behind that counter and go look at the shades yourself? He said I could not pay for that work but he could not adjust the bill. This made me even more livid. I said I was not going to leave with an unpaid bill unless he physically checked the blinds and noted they were still broken. We just kept having this argument that he kept saying the paperwork says they were fixed and those people are no longer working there. I said well you were the one who personally called me. You are the freaking manager. You don't check the work of people who just left your company before telling a customer to drive 100 miles to pick up their completed RV? He admitted he doesn't check the work. He then realized there was a stack of parts tickets in another room. He went to checked and realized that I had a ticket in a parts inbox for the repairs. He showed me this like it was the smoking gun as to why my repairs hadn't been made. He said the parts were never ordered, so the work was never done. This was his get out of jail free card. He just had been arguing with me that the work had to be completed because the paperwork said so even though he refused to go get on his company hoverboard and go look! Now he took the charges off. He kept blaming the staff that was gone. I said again to him "you're the effing manager! Have some freaking accountability. You personally called me and said the work was complete and then tried to charge me $1300 and argue with me." Beware. This is a corporate, cultural issue. This guy and this staff don't get it. Now that the Airstream staff are all gone, don't go here. I hear they went and started a competing company. Thank God. I don't know the name of it yet, but I will update my review when I do. read more

I cannot even give this place 1 star, the customer service is absolutely horrendous starting with the receptionist all the way up. Nobody is helpful at all. It took 6 days to complete our purchase because of bad service! The camper was perfect which is why we tolerated the BS! The purchase process took 6 days because of bad customer service and being forgotten. We have never once been treated well. You're not greeted, you're pushed from person to person. If you call, the snarky receptionist will tell you that nobody is available and instead of offering assistance, tells you to call back later. Trying to pick up our camper that was held hostage for over a month has been a nightmare with terrible service! Never ever visit this place, go to Anderson!!! read more

Wow! I can't say enough good things about this camping World in Oklahoma City! Called to ask about vent cover replacement or mechanism replacements. Tim was helpful on the phone and when we finally arrived he came out to the camper to check out our situation. He determined it was just a mechanism that needed to be changed and checked with his boss to see if he could actually do it for us, which he could! He was a God send and an angel! It would have taken us so long to do the job ourselves and it was about to rain so we needed vent closed asap. The parts were inexpensive at about $15 per piece. For an added bonus, there was free lunch involved including hot dogs, pop, and assorted chips. The service was exceptional and we appreciate this location so much as we are traveling cross-country! The phone service was very good also. When I called the receptionist answered on the first couple of rings and transferred me to the proper departments. Once again, I cannot say how much we appreciated the service and attention that Tim gave to us. I hope he gets a special recommendation from his boss for exceptional customer service! read more

My TT has been in the shop for service for almost 2 months. Went in to be winterized and have a speaker repaired under the warranty. When we came to pick it up, the automatic air Jack didn't work. It worked fine when it went in, but it's broken now. Our unit is 6 months old. I was told sometimes those things just stop working! They never checked it to see if MAYBE the repair person knocked a wire loose or they did something. They turned it into the warranty to be repaired. Now they're saying the part is a month out to replace! I have called MULTIPLE times to setup a freaking time to pickup our TT! NO ONE RETURNS MY CALLS!!!! Our salesmen here was great! They have had our trailer for almost 2 months. After one trip we were not able to use it again because of all the problems. The air conditioner did not work for one and after we brought it back they said they had tried to fix the problem before but apparently it didn't get fixed. I told them I would not have bought the trailer if I would have known there were problems. We ask for a new trailer since we used it only once. We were told that we would have to come up with thousands of dollars to make it a trade in because once we take it off the lot it depreciates by 50%. I am disgusted with the way things are going. They have not called or tried to reach out, to let us know the progress. As of today they still have not called and it's been 8 weeks. That, of course, is your hard earned money! Please don't do business with them. No matter what happens, they will not try to help you. I bought a 5th wheel, East to West Tandora. I paid more than $50 000 +, and sure enough, after about 5 months, I have a water leak. I also purchased an extended warranty at the time of purchase. I called twice yesterday 5-18-2023 and once today. 05-19- 2023 and I was told the finance person was on the phone dealing with other customers , and of course, today she was in a meeting. Both yesterday and today, I was told that she would get back to me, but of course, there was no response. I can not get anybody to help me so that I can put in a claim. They just don't care, so please don't do business with these people. This company is bad and bad for you they don't give a s***. I wish I didn't waste my money or my valuable time. I don't even know where to tell you to go but just don't use a big company like Camping World. They just don't care, and it's too bad. read more

We came here today for their Ultimate Land, Water and RV show, which was advertised on their website to be from June 17th thru 20th. Today is the 20th. We walked in and no one greeted us. The place looked like a ghost town, aside from a few customers looking around the store. We went to the restroom and looked around the store a but. Still no greeting from anyone. Literally no staff in sight. As we decided to leave, we see a girl hidden behind some boxes of items, sitting at the front desk. She didn't say a word to us. My husband had to walk over to her to ask what's going on and why there are no sales people. She said it's against the law to sell motor vehicles on a Sunday. Well, that still doesn't explain the complete lack of customer service. They could've at least taken down names and numbers of people who are interested in RVs. Also, the flyer on the website should've clarified the law, so that people don't waste their time showing up to receive zero assistance. All in all, this was a terrible experience and it just goes to support the bad things we've heard about Camping World and its subsidiaries. Don't waste your time here. Floyd's RV in Norman was much more helpful when we visited them. They're definitely worth the drive! read more

Very pushy sales manager and finance manager. Bought a brand new camper expecting reliability, what I received was one with a non working refrigerator. The best part is I use the trailer for loving at work, and not much option of leaving to get something like this fixed! Once I had the chance to do so, they failed to reinstall the refrigerator roof vent cover (which keeps rain out) so about 8 months later, I finally see some rain, but it's coming out right in through the roof! Again, I'm staked out on another job, so pulling a camper 200 miles for a quick fix isn't an option. I was offered a free installation if I brought them the trailer and paid for the part. Had my RV in for repairs and waited MONTHS! Followed up weekly for status updates. Repairs were never done. They admitted they take in too many units and can't accommodate customers. Called the GM, left message and never received a callback. My RV manufacturer even commented that they've received multiple reports of poor customer service. Drive to the Denton Camping World as they are 100x better than the clown show in OKC. Just saw the response from Camping World corporate to my negative review of OKC Camping World. To corporate Cust. Svc: I am taking my business to Camping World Denton, TX. I have no issue with Camping World corporation:m; just the horrible mismanagement at OKC. No way will I ever take my RV to the OKC franchise, nor will I ever buy from them. read more
