Didn't look damaged when we first saw it. Asked for a discount and they see nothing wrong with it. If I'm buying NEW I don't want damage!!! bought a brand NEW 2025 Coleman Light 26bx, took it home and the slide was broke. They charged me the first service call but after the following didn't, the mechanic guy extremely great and friendly but unfortunately each time my slide had more and more issues. These problems start the day I picked my trailer up, finally I got tired and moved into an apartment so they can take my trailer and fix it after months of no phone call, no emails, I'm constantly calling and emailing them. Water started leaking in the shower, sink start to bulging, I had to take out my bottom bunk, and all the furniture (dinning table, couch, and table chairs) due to mold from a hole underneath the couch. My daughter was constantly sick and so was myself, the power cord outlet start popping out. read more

Terrible. They charged us 350 for a tech to come out and call tech support for our fridge. The fridge went out two months after we bought a new RV. We purchased an extended warranty that we can't use, and charged me for a diagnostic fee and a tool fee. The tech called tech support and walked through how to diagnose the problem. Absolutely terrible experience in all aspects of camping world and I suggest everyone thinking about buying from them rethink that decision. We have had an issue on every step of the process. The trailer came with a vacuum and they told me it didn't, until I showed them the big poster in the RV that said it did. They told me two different ways I was going to receive my tag, it took two months of me calling because our temp tag was expired. My sales person ghosted me until I called the manager. I have had bad experiences at multiple locations and customer service contacted me and they said " I appreciate the opportunity to address your issues and apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced" WOW Btw the tools the technician had to use was a volt meter and an electric drill. read more

Won't let me leave zero stars, so it gets one Put my Class A RV on consignment here in late October 2022. Worked with a nice young man named Andrew who was a military veteran. Slowly walked me through the process and showed me how the value they were offering me was calculated. Said it would probably be on the lot less than thirty days with the way sales were going. I asked him to tell me if it didn't sell in thirty days to call me so I could make arrangements for Camping World to winterize my RV. He told me they were already performing winterizations on the consignments, and it was included in the deal. Andrew kept in contact for a while, telling me when they were getting offers on my RV and when the buyers couldn't get financed as first-time buyers. Then communication stopped in the spring of 2023. Couldn't get ahold of Andrew anymore. Nothing was said about him not working there anymore. It wasn't until I got a phone call in late spring of 2023 from someone who apparently took Andrew's place when he left Camping World that there was an offer on my RV, but I needed $12K in repairs on it before they could complete the deal. My RV was inspected in October of 2022 when it was being evaluated if it qualified for consignment there. I was present during the whole inspection, and the inspector pointed out a couple of small things that he said weren't going to prevent it from going under contract or that would prevent it from being sold. But everything worked. I signed a deal that said I would get $58K when it was sold. A week after I left my RV there I get an email from a Camping World service advisor saying my RV needed thousands of dollars of repairs. Some of the things listed were things that I had just gotten serviced within the last year and were just fine at the inspection. Another was a few thousand to completely reseal the roof, which I knew was BS, because not only had a completely recalked all the AC units, vents, and attachments on the roof the week prior to taking it in for consignment, but the roof was a rubber roof that doesn't need resealing every year, the RV was only 6 years old, and the initial inspector made a comment on how great a shape the roof was in and how lucky I was to have that kind of roof. A call to Andrew made that service list trim to one small item that had already been discussed at the initial inspection. So that set off a red flag about Camping World.....service department trying to price gouge me for unnecessary repairs. So I was suspicious when I got the call that my RV needed the $12K in repairs in order to sell it, and the things that needed fixing worked just fine WHEN I LEFT IT IN THEIR CARE IN OCTOBER. Also, they said I didn't get winterization done on it, so the pipes froze and cracked, and my water heater burst and needed replacing. What??? When I told them what Andrew had told me, the new kid said "It's not written in your contract." I told them I had the text and one of the voicemails from Andrew that discussed the winterization getting done on my RV. The next call was from a sales manager in charge of the consignments, and after discussion of the issue, he said they would repair the freeze damage. (He was pretty quick to agree with it, so it made me wonder if the damage actually happened.) He gave me the list of things that needed fixing, and I said they worked just fine when I left it there, so it had to have happened while you were showing it to sell it because I hadn't touched it or driven it since leaving it there. His go-to excuse for some of the things: "Sometimes it just happens." Seriously. This is your reasoning why I need to pay to have something fixed that had to have broken while you were trying to sell it on your lot? "Sometimes it just happens?" A lot of haggling back and forth. They weren't going to give me the original contracted price of $58K; they said if I wouldn't work with them I could come get it, which I was in the process of doing when other factors suddenly came into play that was helping the deal. Long story short, I had to come up with almost $5K to pay down what I owed on the RV so I could rid myself of the payment and make my recent retirement less stressful. Almost $10K less than what was originally agreed to. Never got any kind of receipt from their service department on any of the repairs they swore it needed and had to do to complete the deal, even though they were capable of trying to gouge me originally with work that didn't need to be done and didn't hesitate to send me a detailed list for that. Never showed me any pictures or videos of the alleged damage to validate what they were telling me. No phone call when the RV was sold and gone. Had to call my credit union to check on the loan balance to find out they had paid it off a couple of days before. Very unprofessional. Very sketchy. I would highly recommend you do your RV shopping elsewhere. read more

Four hundred and fifty dollars, that is what this store saved by losing a customer for life. I bought a brand new Airstream Caravel 22fb from their north OKC location. Then I bought an E2 Fastway w.d. hitch from their website. It arrived in a busted box with parts missing. After shipping it back and getting a replacement, it simply does work on an Airstream. It is NOT a one size fits all product. I followed the install instructions and videos to every detail and used a torque wrench to spec, but the brackets buckled and the sway bars detached. Even after retightening them well beyond the specs and reducing the weight distribution, the buckled again. The situation is outright dangerous (pic attached). I called Camperworld customer service and told them what happened. They said to take it back to the store to save myself return shipping costs. Upon arrival to the east OKC location, they said they couldn't take it back because it was used. How exactly do you find out a hitch doesn't work without installing or trying it? Autumn, their associate, even called the store manager to make sure. That's fine, but I certainly won't be making any more purchases from them, nor will I recommend them to others. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before doing business here. Just as most others have said, they are all about the communication and contact until the signing is done. Then you're treated with a "it's not my problem anymore" attitude. I did my walkthrough on the lot and everything appeared to be in working order. I picked it up a few days later, drove 11 miles home, and plugged it in to a 15 amp to keep the batteries charged. About two months later, I move it three miles around the corner only to discover that during setup: one rim has two cracks, the main AC won't kick on, the anode rod for the water heater was pulled out and left laying in the tray (mostly corroded), the fridge wouldn't cool consistently (fluctuating between 34-60 degrees), and used bandaids on the floor next to the bed. I contact the dealership and they refer me to the maintenance department. There, I've been met with reluctance every time. 1) they claim they can't find another aluminum wheel, only steel 2) everything else I was told to try this, that, and the other or call the Good Sam tech lines. They also admitted to only spending minutes on inspections, claiming they don't have time to spend days to ensure things are working properly. I.e. making sure the fridge cools. I was also told their saying is "everything works until it doesn't." Pretty asinine after being charged $895 for prep. With no thanks to them, I got everything working on my own. Last but not least, they refuse to buy it back or put it on consignment. Their reasoning: "our lot is full and sales have slowed. You can try Facebook." I have my doubts. read more

Stopped on the way east for a toilet repair. I was sold on a replacement instead, which is fine of course. They were able to get the install done and e on the road in the same day. For that, I was grateful. We get home In Atlanta, and winterize the rig. Fast forward to this season, pressurize the system and find a small drip from the inlet behind the toilet. No big deal, right? you would think that given the opportunity, they would honor the simple words of the salesperson "Any problems, just roll into any camping world, and we have you covered!" So, I contact them, they contact the closest one to me, and then they refuse to even have it looked at! They wanted to charge me to put eyes on their mistake! It's 25 cents worth of plumbing tape! Camping World East in Oklahoma City - My wife and I bought a used Class A on June 17th. The staff was cordial and respectful until I signed the paperwork. After that, things went downhill fast. The Good Sam guy completely ignored the fact that I needed copies of the paperwork, until I tracked him down in the store. The Service Manager assured us that our unit was 'ready to go!' after we spent endless hours at this location (my wife ended up falling asleep on the lounge couch). As staff were leaving for the day, we finally got a 'walk-around'. One of the Service guys walked me around the unit pointing at things and telling me how they work, never actually showing me. We finally pulled out of the lot as the gates were closing. We arrived at a campground 90 miles away, and set up camp! The kitchen faucet barely dribbled. The hydraulic levelers leaked fluid. The macerator was locked up, and we couldn't empty the black tank. The generator wouldn't stay running long enough to use the rooftop A/C. I called to inform them of the existing issues, and they suggested bringing it back for "diagnosis". I explained that I was 90 miles away, and would be heading back to Denver the next morning. He told me to bring it to the Service Center in Golden when we got back home. I dropped it off for service on July 15th, as that was the closest opening they had. I had purchased the 4-year/$5,400 Service Contract only for Good Sam to kick back my claim needing "additional information." This went on for 79 days. I finally got it back after getting Corporate involved. 109 days went by since I had purchased it before I finally got my tags and registration. I had previously called several times throughout July, August and September, asking about the registration, and they assured me that they were on it! I finally received the registration/tags on October 3rd. The Golden Service Center was the place that actually went to bat for me, and gets my seal of approval. The OKC Camping World staff are a bunch of clowns. Not a single one of them reached out to me in assistance. Not a single one of them answered any of my emails. Not until after I got Corporate involved. The OKC location's GM finally got in touch with me and paid for all 'maintenance related issues' which would've cost me well over $1,200 because they weren't considered 'service related issues' covered under my $5,400 contract. If I were you, and I lived in OKC looking for an RV, I would consider the Camping World East location on Anderson Road, the VERY LAST place to find an RV. read more

I was warned not to buy here by many and I should have listened but they were the only place in my state that had the camper we wanted. Wish we'd going out of state for it now. The service department at this location is terrible. They never return calls and there's no sense of urgency from anyone even though they are drowning in backed up repairs and warranty customers. They are very disorganized. God help you if the service counter person you worked with is gone when you come in because chances are whoever is there won't be able to find your paperwork and won't know anything about what's going on. But I didn't want to look on the website I wanted to talk to a HUMAN. He was rude, short, and gave me the overall impression that he didn't really give a darn. So I won't waste my time with this place again even though I only live a mile away. I'll drive 2 hours to somewhere else before I bother with these people again. My advice for Shawn: get out of a position where you have to deal with the public. It is not your strong suit. You need to find a job where you do not interact with customers..... I purchased a new 5th Wheel under the old business and discovered some damage that was done to the camper. The best answer I can get out of them now is well submit it to see if the warranty will cover it. Basically they don't care and I'm on my own. Purchased our fifth wheel from Gander RV and have been extremely disappointed in their customer service. No follow up from our salesman, Cody, just a one and done kind of sale for him. They owe us a bunk mattress and after calling four times to resolve it's whereabouts, they haven't even ordered it and don't even have the dimensions, as THEY were the ones who built the bunk. So, I decided to call and speak with the manager, Cory. I told him our situation and he said "he'd check on it" it's been over two weeks and he still never got back with me, THE MANAGER. I bought a small RV from them last year. Our salesman was great. Shortly after I got the RV I developed a problem and told them it was a known issue and I needed to talk to someone since I was on the road and all they offered was for me to bring it in. I ended up talking to Forest River directly on my trip and fixing it myself. I wouldn't have even written this review but I decided to trade my RV in for a bigger model and they expressed no interest after I was told it wouldn't be a problem trading it when I bought it. Everything was fine till I sent them the check to pay unit in full. Charged $700 to "dealer prep" unit. Once it arrived at my house, reefer inoperable, slide out inop, and there was still construction debris, sawdust and trimmings throughout. After cleaning unit and taking it for a night out the dealer installed LP tanks flew off coming within 10 feet of bicycle riders. We went in to look for a used travel trailer. Paul was our sales person. He had a great attitude and was patience with us. When we decided on a unit Amy became our finance person. When we were asked a question from her, I said give me a moment to think, and she said back, WELL EXCUSE ME, rolled her eyes and was short and rude after that. We had been there almost 5 hours, decided to leave and keep looking elsewhere. Excuse was they couldn't get the finance place to return the call. They called later and talked us into coming back. They are scam artists extraordinaire! They will say one number over and over again while you sign papers. That number is going to be about $10K-$15K less than what you are actually paying. Make sure to ask often if that number is a daily, weekly or monthly charge. They will not fully prep your RV/Trailer before you drive off with it. So, expect to have a few problems on your first adventure in your new RV/Trailer. When you return it to have repairs done, they will take it back but will be in no hurry to remedy the issues that should have been caught if they actually prepped it properly. Came in last week for an appointment to have some items repaired on my first RV bought last month. I made several phone calls to Camping World where it was purchased, the RV's warranty office, and Leisure RV and understood that I could bring it to this location for repairs. Like the commenter below, the best I could get was, "All we can do is submit it for warranty and we won't get to it until at least two weeks." Finally, I got the unspoken message that they would not honor the repairs unless it was a mechanical issue covered under warranty, despite it being a new RV, bought at Camping World, and used once. This is somewhat understandable and I assume was just a misunderstanding on my end. However, I wish they would have explained this when I booked the appointment as I lost money to cancel a flight and rearrange everything to drive the RV out of state where it was purchased. The reason for the 2 stars is the manner in which the employee handled the matter. He greeted me and asked why I was bringing in the RV, but as I attempted to explain, he walked away mid-sentence. Another missed opportunity for them to explain they would not honor the promise to repair construction damage. As we walked through the RV-he made comments such as: "looks like you ran over something," " an oven door just doesn't dent itself," "the table leg gouged the floor,etc." I do not understand the point of these comments, but they were infuriating and served no purpose. LeisureTime RV had been recommended to me by family and I would have liked to give them my service, but unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable ever doing so or recommending them. read more

I'm only giving one star because I have to. These people are the worst at communication! They've had our RV for almost a month with 0 communication. We've been the ones calling every other day to get an update!! It's a brand new RV that needs new batteries. They said oh yeah we can do it and then a month later telling us we have to pick it up and take it to freighliner so they can install the batteries. Okay that's good, but why not call us last week and tell us that? Why wait? Also, they were supposed to install a satellite we brought to them. You would think quick and easy, but again nope, not done. What kind of business is this? No communication, and they let your rv just sit there for weeks. We could have already had this done if you would have just called two weeks ago. You've had it for a month and have done nothing. Now my husband who is supposed to be leaving on a three month trip has to wait because you guys can't communicate properly! Horrible service! First, let me say I love Camping World. Of course, I have never bought a RV from them but I do buy the majority of accessories and parts for my RV there. I was very excited that Leisure had become Gander (part of Camping World) as this location is much closer to where I live. I went there today and received great customer service is the parts department and then stopped by service to inquire about the cost of having my bearings repacked. There were four people at the service desk. One man actually spoke to me asking if I was there to pick up and the other three never said a word to me. One man was on the phone with a customer and said he should talk to the other man at the service desk who was standing right there. He put the customer on hold and told the other guy he should speak to the customer but he said no so the guy got back on the phone and told the customer he would make sure the other guy would call when the part came in. There was also a young lady sitting there who also never said a word to me. Once the guy got off the phone, he started talking to the other guy and neither acknowledged me. First, I should never have been privy to how the one guy refused to talk to the customer. Second, any one of them could have let me know they saw me there and it would be a minute. I bought a large 5th Wheel from them and my first attempt to use it I noticed the black water tank is 3/4 full so I go to dump at the RV park I am staying at and the black water tank falls out of it. I am lucky that it didn't come out while I was on the highway, could have killed someone. I called Sam Good to get assistance - I bought the extended warranty as well - and they said they would dispatch someone to assist. 4 1/2 hours later, no one shows or calls. I made several calls back to their call center during this time and all of them assured me they were on their way. I called my salesman, Francisco, to tell the situation and since it was the weekend and his day off he assured me that he would speak with his manager first thing Monday morning. Monday comes and goes, no call. I text him and ask what is the plan, he says to take it to the nearest Camping World or Gander, I CAN'T BECAUSE THE GUTS ARE ON THE GROUND AND CAN'T BE MOVED! he says he will get his manager to call me. It is now Wednesday and still no call. Francisco is not answering my calls and I still don't have a way to get this RV to a repair shop. They are the worst kind of sales, promises you everything and leaves you high and dry the moment you need them. I wouldn't buy from them again if they were the last place on earth and would strongly advise you to find another lot to do business with. Early last year My wife & I visited LT off I-40 & Anderson road in MWC to look at new 5th wheel campers during their sale. This was our 1st & very last visit to LT. We decided on a new 5th wheel unit & sat down to talk to the salesman about our possible trade-in, a loaded 1995 Airstream Classic Excella in great condition & NO problems or issues. As we explained our unit was completely set up for "full time boon-docking" with solar panels all across the roof & 4 new deep cycle storage batteries, a top-of-the-line Hensley anti-sway hitch system, custom curtains & window shades throughout, and many other upgrades. When asked about the condition I told of how the previous year we had had the trailer gone over bumper to bumper/top to bottom & any issues repaired at the authorized Airstream repair facility in OKC, had the axles removed & aligned, new tires & brakes, etc....Everything worked perfect & trailer pulled great. Salesman left us to talk to the manager about possible trade-in value. Returned & stated very most they could give trade-in value on a new 5th wheel was $2500!!! My wife & I were completely shocked! $2500 not $25,000 or more we asked? No stated the salesman. "Used Airstream values are not what they used to be" he stated. I asked him to make sure the manager meant $2500 not $25k. He did & returned with same answer, $2500. I informed salesman I was not stupid & could sell trailer EASILY within a week for $20-25k. He told me to TRY to sell it for that then come back & see him! We both left INFURIATED that they had TRIED to take advantage of us in this manner & vowed to NEVER return to this RIP-OFF FRAUDULENT place. We put our Airstream on Craigslist for $35,000, sold it within 2 weeks for $30k & went to a very nice RV dealer & bought our 5th wheel. I would NEVER recommend Leisure Time RV for ANY kind of business. We have had friends who have had their RV's repaired there & also been ripped-off. BAD BAD place of business(?). Here is my reply to their response to my original review: Your "offer" to talk to someone at your corporate office is useless. I know CW acquired LT. CW also tried to take advantage of us also when we were looking for a 5th wheel although not as seriously as LT. I will NEVER patronize CW OR LT & continue to spread the word of your deceitfulness.
