Picked up my Moomba after service only to find someone else's gear in my boat. I then noticed that my boat was not strapped the way I left it, which made me wonder who was joy riding in my boat. The owner then told me to leave, walked me outside all the way to my boat and then proceeded to call my Moomba a poor man's boat, called the State of Texas a piece of S (I had Tx short on), called me a F'N P$&&@ as he walked away. This is definitely not the type of establishment I would ever visit again. read more

After reading previous reviews of course I was a little apprehensive. Went in to look at a boat and my experience was polar opposite of previous reviews. The salesman was more than eager to help and answer any questions and was not a shopper stalker. We were able to look around without a lot of pressure. We decided to buy and the process was extremely smooth. Even buying out of state and the paperwork was a breeze. We've been wanting a new boat for years and glad we landed here. Before I begin, I have to say that many times I have tried to get a person on the line at the big box dealers in the City, and had no luck getting an answer. That being said, I have a Targa that I've had to get used to. I had an issue with the trim on my outboard not responding- after a five minute conversation with the desk guy at Norris Marine, we worked out why and what for. I haven't spent a dime with these guys-yet- but, every time I call (another couple of times about my trailer), they look up the part- give me advice, and I go and fix the problem myself. One of these days I will get in there to see these guys and pay them back (probably have to buy a new boat- lol). They're all knowledgeable and not pushy at all- they are building long term, return customers. I like their service and I suggest you give them a call. read more

I asked what their shop rate is and was told "we don't have as shop rate but this usually satisfies people when I tell them that if we look at your boat and you decide not to leave it with us for the repairs then we charge $140 just for looking at it." This after I told her that my old 1989 Bass Tracker just has a simple ignition problem. I hung up on the lady after asking for and getting clarification on that policy. Now I know after this experience and reading their other two reviews to never go in this place for anything ever. read more

I highly recommend Norris Marine because of salesperson, DJ. He had so much patience with this novice. I honestly believe he would have stayed there all night answering questions. I'm surprised their still open. I was shopping for my third new boat a Recently and had a terrible experience. I was ignored until I searched out a sales associate and requested assistance. His response, " I guess I can help you if your serious". I refrained my instinctual response. After he insulted me the second time within 5 minutes, I kindly thanked him for only wasting 5-10 minutes of my time. I had previously visited the store and felt a sense that I was inconveniencing the counter person. I've purchased a Cobalt R7 and enjoyed a wonderful experience in OKC. Won't set foot in the store again. read more
