I purchased the boat and signed a paper saying "bought as is." I take the boat out the following weekend and pull the kids on the tube and I was having trouble turning the boat to the right. I just figured it was the extra weight on the back and did not think anything of it. I take the boat back out and get it off the trailer and my boat will not turn right. I can only get the boat to go left. I called and spoke to Ron and told him my issue and he insisted that I hit something. He told me we did a test run and everything was okay. I told him nothing was hit and he told me to bring the boat back and he would take a look at the boat, and he stated "I am not going to eat this!" I take the boat back to get looked at and he tells me that the steering actuator and inner transom plate had been broke. He continued to tell me I had to of hit something and refused fix the problem. He continued to tell me I signed paperwork of boat being as is. I told him I bought the boat on good faith that it was a good working boat. He refused to fix the boat and gave me a contact number for someone that could fix the bout for $2500. I would not recommend buying a boat from E&R boats unless you want to possibly be scammed. They had terrible costumer service once my boat had issues.

If I could rate zero stars, I would. Buyer beware. Paid $3,500 for a so-called rebuilt outboard…read morefrom Fulton Marine. It was supposed to have had a total power head rebuild including pistons, rings, carb rebuild and water pump and 6 month warranty from first use. Drove from KC to OKC last year to pick it up. Obviously, with all the flooding did not get an opportunity to use until this year. Maiden voyage was riddled with issues of alarms and under performance. Reached out via phone and text and received no response. First thing I found were some disconnected wires prior to the first outing, and good thing, as the oil injection and overheat alarms had been disconnected. Obviously that was done purposely. Took to my marine mechanic. We discovered the oil tank was defective and required replacement. About $200 in parts and labor. Power head was still original and had not been rebuilt. Original gaskets still intact. Overheat problem was found to be a bad water pump and housing at $400, so clearly not replaced. Carbs are questionable as it floods out at full throttle. That repair cost is still pending. Once again, buyer beware. Not a company I would trust doing any work, which is supported by the negative reviews.
