Service department absolutely sucks, I bought a used camper and had it delivered. The black and grey tanks were full from the previous owners and THERE WAS BED BUGS!!! What did camping world of melborne do for me? they offered a $100 gift card to camping world, I GOT A STRANGERS BLACK TANK ON MY HANDS AND HAD TO BUG BOMB THE CAMPER. I also opted to pay for the care box which had almost nothing useful in it, Including the rv plug in and serge protector which were the wrong size for the camper. I wish I read the reviews before going there and regret it 1000%. I could've gotten a better deal off marketplace. read more

I accompanied my cousin to this location and we could not believe the rude people they have working there in service. There was a lady being super rude even cursing to a guy that appeared to work there . We asked someone walking by that was an employee her name and he said her name is Liz ,and that she was some form of management ? This is super unprofessional and not sure how this company will pick such people to manage anything . This place is a rip off. Do your research and go somewhere else. Sales team is pushy. Finance wasn't very friendly. They don't care about people. Just the sale. We bought a new ultimate teardrop camper and I guess because it was such a new camper I couldn't find a price online or reviews online for it anywhere. Lucky for them. We are also two women that I feel got taken advantage of. They just saw dollar signs when we walked in. We love our camper but it's not worth what we paid. Now, 2 years later, a brand new one costs half of what we paid. If we sold it now we would be under. When we did a walk through of how to operate the entire camper, the guy in the shop (nicest guy of the entire group btw) didn't know how to operate all of it because it was so new. He had to refer to the Manuel often. Upon walk through, we realized the seal to the window wasn't working. And you could see right through it, but he fixed that for us. We will never go back. As we were setting up our rv in camp for the night, our electric surge protector went bad. Not wanting to plug straight into the camp electric without any protection I found Camping World Melbourne was nearby. As it was getting late in the day I went to their store hoping to buy a new one. The worst experience with any sale I've ever seen before. My elderly mother bought a 5th wheel RV from Camping World and was promised a list of things, none of which were actually done. They told her that they would be there at 9am to drop it off, level it, and hook it up. After she sat outside in the heat until 2pm she called, and they finally came and dropped it off but did not level it, did not bring the proper items to hook it up, and it's so close to her shed that she can't even get into it. The sinks filled up almost immediately and when she called, they told her the extended warranty wouldn't kick in for 30 days and there's nothing they can do; she had to hire someone to come look at it and it turned out they had never opened the valves, but on the phone said there weren't any. The hydraulic pump is now leaking all over the inside of the compartment it's in, just 3 days of having it, and her bedroom has sunk by half a foot. When you they won't answer the phone, and when they do they say they'll call back and then don't. They tell her she can bring it in, which isn't possible, or pay $300 for someone to come look at it. She was originally promised that they would figure something out and someone would come look without that insane charge, which is the only way she agreed to buy the RV in the first place. What was supposed to be a lovely transition into a new comfortable home, it has been nothing but nightmare after nightmare and they refuse to do anything about it. read more

I had an appt to bring my camper into Camping World of Melbourne for a water leak. Piper in service was very helpful. I needed to reschedule because the day of my appt, I big storm was due so I tarped the camper to prevent further damage. Piper was on vacation, so I left several messages for Joshua, the service manager. He never bothered to call back. Would have taken only a few minutes to show a customer some courtesy. This place was a huge waste of time. Casey was the person taking care of me and she was wonderful and pushy at first. Then she realized she wasn't gonna get the sale and it was the end of the month and so they had this deal going on and business has been slow so she was trying to meet a quota of course. Well when that didn't happen and I had to push it to the beginning of February. Let me tell you it was like night and day. Don't get me wrong she did her job but to the bare minimum. She also never told me that when I put a down payment that's when they can go through the banks. She acted like I had already been approved by the banks and that's why I gave her the down payment. Ends up they didn't approve me. I expressed the urgency of this situation and that I really couldn't afford to have money in limbo and they were going to refund asap. That was Thursday. Today's Tuesday and they just issued the refund. Honestly this was a horrible experience and I wouldn't tell an enemy to go here. Casey was nice and fast when she thought she was getting it that very moment but didn't and after that she could care less what happened which I explained my situation. She could do better. Also eating on the phone is gross. Doesn't no one want to hear someone eat food and I swear it was every time I had to call which was several times. She was careless of the situation and honestly I'm glad she didn't get the sale. read more
