I have never been impressed by the sales staff with exception to selling me an RV. I have had service done here before and I would rate the experience really low. If there was only a lower rating than 1 star. My wife and I attempted to purchase a motorhome through the Biloxi, Ms. store. Started with in person meet with salesman "Cameron" and a sales manager introduction. Little assistance from sales in finding what we wanted over next couple of weeks. Eventually we found the perfect motorhome online ourselves at the Robertsdale, Al. store. We had been told we could purchase from any Camping World location and have our motorhome brought to Biloxi. We coordinated our purchase through Biloxi sales manager "Daniel". Price and details agreed upon, pre delivery inspection scheduled in Alabama with Cameron from Biloxi to supposedly meet us at the Alabama store so that we "would have someone there we knew". Credit app submitted, with excellent credit history by the way, and we believed everything lined up and ready to go. Two days before inspection I noted Camping World flagged the unit as "deal pending". I called to ensure this was in fact our deal only to be told via text message that nope, the unit was sold to someone else. Oh, they did run our credit report anyway...a day after they had already taken a deposit on my unit from someone else. So there's that. Incompetance? Lack of integrity? Complete absence of customer care? A business model that seems to include store locations undercutting each other with zero concern for the customer? All the above I believe. We will be taking our RV business somewhere else and strongly recommend you do the same. read more

The service department stole 3 items from our RV between the time we bought it and picked it up (only 1 of 3 items were recovered). Filipe showed us campers everyone was so friendly and personable and seemed like we joined a family or made friends. After the sale i texted and called and went in with a few questions about my camper and I got no response they didn't even try to find what I asked just gave me a service tech number. Didn't have an issue just couldn't find something. But since they already got my money they no longer care. Disappointed. They also convinced people to save money by not buying a starter kit and we've never camped in a camper so that was an awful idea. Campers are over priced. If I could give zero stars I would. This place is horrible. We recently moved down and live in our RV. I am not even going to get into our first encounter which was this past spring. It was complete nonsense! We came in this time to see if they sold generators. It's was days before a hurricane and we had been discussing getting one so we figure couldn't be a better time. We could use it at our house and when we travel. They had a few left. We notice no pricing on any of them, but a BUNCH of signs stating no returns on generators. I mean I get it, I am sure ppl abuse during weather like this. No one offered help and there were several of us looking and wanting the prices. The guy behind the counter with gauge holes in his ears blurted out the price on one of them $2400. I asked about a different one. Instead of giving me the price he blurted out very loudly. "Absolutely NO returns on generators". As if we would not read the 20 signs posted. We would have purchased the $2400 Honda generator if instead of being rude he offer some help or even at least had prices on them. I imagine this will be our last time at this location! The place is a sham! Funny thing is there were like 10 employees walking around with hands in their pockets. No one offered any service! read more

One star is too many!! Store in New Port Richey/Holiday Florida sold us a pre-owned travel trailer that had a hole in the roof!!! We did not use the trailer right away due to work conflicts. Our first trip out we found much water damage and leaking. Now we have proof it was damaged prior to our purchase, but Camping World took NO responsibility at all and simply said WE should have seen this in our walk thru at purchase. On the roof!!! Of the few things we did ask about during our walk thru the salesman brushed it all off and said it was "just cosmetic" and they'd inspect with a fine tooth comb before we signed papers. EDIT: it's really unfortunate that I have to edit this review. BUYER BEWARE. Make sure you know where your credit card information is going with this company. I gave my card to Jonathan over the phone to put the $500 deposit down and apparently it was never run. I only found this out a month later while we were finalizing the process. My partner Samuel Cuevas and I purchased a 2023 Sandpiper. The manager John Hamilton attempted to downplay the fact that they misplaced the credit card information. He tried to re-assure me that they shred things daily. When I told him that I would still have to cancel my card for re-assurance , I was met with laughter on the other end of the phone. He proceeded to let me know that "the person purchasing the RV" has taken care of everything and that he had nothing more to say to me. From my standpoint I wouldn't feel very comfortable as a female working with this company in the future. The entire demeanor exuded misogyny. I didn't realize that just because my name wasn't on the documents that I would also be considered irrelevant to this company.....Even though the purchase was a family purchase. We would definitely recommend going to Camping world and working with Jonathan. Usually you would expect your typical, pushy salesperson but he was far from that. We never once felt pressured or uncomfortable through the entire process. He made it even more seamless by texting us with updates or if there were any questions. This allowed us to keep going with our busy lives while also feeling secure in the purchasing process. To top it off he was super understanding when we showed up with our 2 year old and 9 month old for the final paperwork. Overall the experience was quick, easy, and we left feeling confident with our purchase of our new 2023 Sandpiper thanks to Jonathan. read more

Unfortunately our lil camper had a roof leak and thankfully we caught it way early before it became a complete disaster. However, as many know, those repairs are not cheap but hey, if you can afford a RV then one must be prepared for those type of expenses. In this case, being camper newbies (well, we're not anymore really), it was our fault for not getting a cover or storing under cover and making sure to check out the seals and so forth on a monthly basis, especially, it being exposed to FL sun for the last almost 4 years. That cardinal mistake was a Pricey live-n-learn lesson. :( However, Jim, our Service man helped us through this ordeal and we were setup for service the same day we drove it in. I have to say, we're grateful to his customer service and his "tell it from the hip" manner. He helped us watch our budget too. It could have been a lot more expensive and we definitely could have spent a lot more on things that we really could wait on which he did a great job grounding us and reminding us to stay within budget. Not many places or people have your back in that way. Normally, we're super careful when it comes to trust especially when it comes to sales or repair centers. However, with Jim, we learned not all are out to get you and we trust him and will call on him first thing with any questions or repairs needed. I truly appreciate him, from a fellow Rv'er to another,We hope to see him at the tiki bar one day at the campground and share a beer. Needless to say we saved quite a bit and the final product turned out better than manufacturer roof. We found their prices anywhere from $300- $2000~ less from other places. (Will add new roof picture later) Even their roof maintenance package which is about $395 includes UV protection, rubberized(I may not be staying that right-sorry), sealing and testing, about $700 less than other places offering the same services. The materials or chemicals are pretty much the same or comparable to their competitors too. As for the retail merchandise, there's some things you will not find elsewhere other than Amazon. Some things you will find elsewhere but overall pricing is pretty competitive also you can get a discount if a Good Sam member too. We didn't purchase our RV from here so I can't review on the purchase process or RVs. Although they seem to have quite a selection as we toured some of the travel trailers, 5th wheelers and motor coaches. Anyways, I gave 4 stars because sometimes can be hard to get through to them right away but they will call you back at their earliest. 5 STARS to Jim -the Hubs and I recommend him to anybody who wants an honest, fellow RV'er that knows a great job done within reasonable cost is what really matters!! He calls you back within a timely fashion if he's unavailable to answer. By the way, he never made it a point to push us to do a trade-in, any pushy up sells or make a decision for us and we sure did ask. He was factual about what options were available and when we ask for his advice whether we should trade it in, his response was simple, "Do you love your RV? Are you happy with it? Do you want to change it out?" ... well, we do love this model, it works for us and that's all we needed to realize to make our right decision. I work out a dealit on a unit. I came back on the 9th to do the paperwork on the 9th and paid cash. They didn't have a mattress in it yet. The said they had one, well they did, someone literally stuffed mattress in that was too big in between the cabinets on a murphy bed, it took my wife and I almost 20 minutes to get it out. I called the store no call back so, I went to the store the first guy that came out had a bad attitude. I showed him how big the mattress was that it didn't fit between the nightstands or the top cabinets . The person that put it in had to use so much force to get it in they damaged wood trim on the cabinets. I went in to the store or Thursday March 21st 12 days after the purchase. I go into the store April was there I think that was her name I asked for John she said he was off. there was a worker there he asked me what I need I told I mattress was ordered and he came back and said its not in. well he must have seen the disgust on my face and said sorry it's not going your way and was smirking and smiling. I asked him if he thought it was funny I just spent 31 grand. April said they don't pay me enough. I told her #1 nobody was talking to you 2nd there's the door if you don't like your job. without customers they don't need you. No customer service. I find out they ordered the mattress on the 8th after I picked the unit out, so they knew they didn't have the right mattress and stuffed any old one in that wasn't even close to fitting. They also said it calls for a queen, but they don't fit so they knew. I thought it was a complete unit. I would not have bought it. They weren't up front with me. I haven't been able to use it. Anybody trying to put that in should be smart enough to know it didn't fit. I tried to close it so I know the force they must have used. I told the manager I was concerned with their bad reviews before I bought, he said people only leave bad reviews. I said I'm going to leave one good bad or indifferent. Tires were supposed to be filled one was 21 pounds low the other 20 pounds when I checked them at home. The unit was dirty outside who every checked it out should be fired along with April. I bought around 25 new cars since 1990 and have never be treated this way or had these problems. please don't say you're sorry I was treated this way please call. I called your office only got worse. That unit should have been complete clean and ready to go. I would have never bought it. I gave them a chance and they blew it not at all happy. the people at corporate should make this right. They sold me something they knew it wasn't complete. I'm sorry I didn't listen to my gut. Also, another reason I bought there was because Marcus Lemonis. I used to watch the profit and knew or thought he was big on customer service. Please don't tell me your sorry please call I did. 14 days and still not complete. The sales department at this location cares about 1 thing: you money. After they get your money, you are dead to them. If you have any questions, concerns, complaints, they don't care and they won't answer their phones. As for the product they sell, it's crap. I bought a 2018 Salem by Forest River at the very end of March 2018. Here is the problems I have had: AC junction box fire on the water heater. We have now been without an electric water heater for 3 weeks? This was due to a wire nut not being properly installed. Air Conditioning continues to freeze up. Also, the AC does not cool properly. Additionally, the actual controls to the AC have stopped working. We have bought two additional portable AC units. We were also told we should have bought a 50 amp which had 2 AC units. Too bad we were not even offered that. Breaker box inside the camper is routinely at 140+ degrees. This is not normal. Bathroom door window leaks water, adding to the humidity inside the travel trailer. Kitchen drawers will not stay shut. Multiple drawers in the camper are splitting. Sensor for the black water tank constantly reads 2/3 full although the tanks are cleaned on a regular basis. Internal breakers for the camper are constantly tripped despite having a low load. Outside speaker is already not working properly and cracking when music plays. Pieces of trim throughout the camper are coming lose, falling off. Multiple blinds now no longer retract, and one literally fell out of the wall. Shelving was installed upside down throughout the travel trailer. Wall is separating from the frame in the bathroom. Wall is separating from the frame in the bedroom. Bunkhouse ceiling is beginning to sag. Black liquid is leaking from the bedroom wall where the staples are indicating a water leak. Obviously this water leak may be from the ceiling of even an improperly sealed window. Water damage equals mold which is a serious health hazard. The refrigerator is literally falling out of the bracket that holds it in. The AC barely works, and even running it full blast, the temperature stays around 75-70 with a humidity even higher unless it's the middle of the night. Now, it's an argument between Forest River and Camping World on who is going to do what. Last I was told was I needed to haul it and hour and a half away to have someone look at it. No offer to pick it up, nothing. Do essentially, if you buy from here make sure you have a lawyer on retention because you're gonna need it even after they sell you a lemon. I've been in contact with the corporate office, and guess what, no one from their corporate office has bothered to actually make contact. Don't be fooled by the nice response from the CST, nothing ever comes of it. read more

They take a long time to even get an appointment if you need repair for your RV. They are also very expensive once your one year warranty wears out. It's too bad NY is not so TV friendly. There are many cheaper and better places in Florida for your RV repairs. NY is in need of a reliable, reasonable place for repairs, dumping and RV accessories. We shouldn't have to drive so far in Jersey to wait so long for expensive sub par service. Did I mention our hub cap was missing from their supposed secure lot after we picked up our RV for repairs after a few weeks to repair a refrigerator door. I can't recommend this place and the Good Sam club is not really worth it either. I guess for now they are kind of a monopoly around NYC, but I'm hopeful that someone will open a camping store in NY soon because there is a need. read more

Our 2021 Kodiak Dutchmen had a water leak after buying it and we brought it back and Holiday, FL techs which said it was the faucet and it was replaced along with the support wood that got wet. We then used the RV and the same leak was found again and since we were in Ocala, FL we were told to the Camping world on US 441. Their techs looked at the problem and said they fixed it but after that visit the "new faucet" handle was stripped and not right and we had planned and paid for a weekend trip to Perry, FL and the leak still was there. While on the trip I found the leak and we took a video to send to the Ocala location. Now, we brought the RV back to Ocala and showed them the video we took of me finding the leak and asked that the wood that got wet, get replaced. The Ocala office is now telling us that the Holiday office won't cover the wood replacement. My wife has chronic Lyme disease and can't come into contact with mold which is what is happening. We paid for an extended warranty and expected Camping World to honor the agreement and fix the water damaged wood and the broken handle on the faucet. I'm not sure why I need to fight to get repairs made and the Ocala store has been great to work with but the Holiday people did not even contact me to say repairs are not covered and why. The Ocala store can't order parts without approval from the Holiday location. I'm a very Unhappy Camper. read more

There is an incredible opportunity for these folks to capitalize on the growing movement of NEWBIES to RVs, Camper Trailers, and 5th Wheels. I STARTED my journey here a few days ago and it wasn't the best use of my time. This place is best suited for "veterans" of the Camping World and not starry eyed newbies. Maybe that's their niche. Maybe they don't value "newbies" - who knows. Our "salesman's" lead scoring / pre-qual process was something straight out of a textbook on how NOT to do things. The questions were centered around "budget" vs. needs first. As a lifelong salesman, and trainer I have found that it's best to qualify people while connecting them emotionally to their desired outcome. Example. Questions like this were NOT asked. 1. How many people are you sleeping? 2. How long do you intend to be on the road? 3. Where will you be traveling? 4. What kind of activities will you be engaging in, etc. 5. What kind of truck will you be driving? I can go on but you get the point. Asking those types of questions and getting favorable answers allows you to get a better read on the seriousness of a potential customer. It also makes the budget questions less awkward as there would have been rapport built before asking the customer "are you broke or what?" It also makes it abundantly easier to identify the right fit for the customer while saving everyone time. Time is money. These guys are blowing it. After about 30 hours of research and telephone calls, my wife and I have narrowed down 3 options for us to look at in person before making final decision. Needless to say, we won't be buying our 5th wheel from this place. read more

I had an appointment to see a 150K plus RV. I arrived and immediately was demanded to hand over all my personal information. I refused, I was not going to be driving any vehicles. They then stuck me in a small room to "wait" for a sales person? It took over 30 minutes of waiting to get help. ( THEY KNEW I HAD AN APPOINTMENT!!). I had to pay .50 for one mint from a machine. Needless to say, I was underwhelmed and even disrespected. This is where I would potentially be spending 90 to 150K CASH ! Ok, fast forward, I went to a Salon a few days later. I would spend about 250.00. They met me at the door, greeted me, gave me a bottled water, offered a delicious looking donut (I declined, I'm watching my girlish figure!) They listened to what I wanted for my services and DELIVERED. What's wrong with this picture? Why would I be treated like a STAR for 250? and Camping World treated me like a HUGE bother for over 100,000.???? Sad, so sad, because I'm now looking for an RV dealer that treats ALL customers like they are gonna spend 250.00 and look great! read more

Shady people! Made an appointment for my RV to have some warranty work done. They told me it would be covered when I went in and talked to them, so I set an appointment. After pulling it out of storage and taking it down they informed me there would be a charge of $125 per half hour for diagnostics. It was a simple issue of the TV speaker not working and they would not tell me if it was covered under warranty or not unless they did the diagnostics. They gave me a long song and dance about how warranty work takes place and chances are it would be covered but if not, it would be the 125+ parts plus more time. It would seem to me that a reputable company would understand if a warranty covers something so simple or at least call the warranty company to see if it was covered. The biggest problem I have is their dishonesty! read more

When we were not ready, they picked up on our taste & expectations & every once in a while they send us a message with some models if we wanted to stop by. I brought my motorhome in for an oil change, I was told they would do a courtesy inspection. I received a call saying I would need to replace my smoke detector as it was not working. $18.00 plus a half hour labor. I said no, took it home and replaced the 9 volt battery and all is now good. They should invest in a battery tester. I was also told the caulking around the MH had some spots, they could do a spot treatment and that my windshield wiper was not snapped in properly. I have caulk home but I figured it is just a spot treatment go ahead and do it. When I went to pick it up my bill was $1320.00 They charged $760 labor to spot treat some caulk around the motorhome. They said it took 4 hours. They did the entire motorhome which was still only 54 total feet of caulk. So they charged me $14 per foot. I did not approve an entire caulk job nor did my like new motorhome need it. They told me it was because eggs and bread went up, she lost me there. They have horrible customer service skills. Kristina Ma'amed me to death with attitude. She also said "because you are a race car driver you should know better." Guess what? I purchased my first RV from Camping World on 10/29/2021. I taught I was in good shape because I read all the pros and cons before I purchased it. I told the sales person that I was planning on purchasing a RV in a few years when I was close to retiring. However, my job now requires me to travel. Therefore, I plan to live and work in the RV instead of staying in a hotel. The salesperson stated that the RV that I agreed to purchase was inspected and is in great shape. The salesperson stressed that all their RV are inspected before selling it. If there is an issue, the issue is fixed before selling to a customer. Nonetheless, I had the RV inspected to insure no leaks in the roof, AC, generator, furnace, accessories were all working as expected. The inspection revealed some minor repairs in which Camping World agreed to fix by the delivery date. I also purchased Wi-Fi for work. I requested that the salesperson put the agreed repair in writing. That was the first red flag. I should have walked away from the deal because my instinct made me feel like he did not want to put it in writing. I told him if it was not in writing and approve by the manager, I was not purchasing the RV. He wrote the items out, and came back with the sign agreement of the items that were promise to fix. The items identified in the inspection which the salesperson referred to as minor repair items were the torn Awning Fabric, Leveling System wasn't working, and additional sealant was needed around the AC on the roof. The salesperson told me that he would have the minor repairs that were identified in the inspection as well as the Wi-Fi connected, and the RV detailed inside outside. He stated that I could pick up the RV by 11/1/2021. Camping World did not contact me on 11/1/2021 as agreed upon. On 11/2/2021, I excitedly went to pickup my first RV. The salesperson was off duty. Therefore, I spoke to the Service Manager instead, and was told that there were 3 Safety Recall on the RV. And the RV can not be released to the customer until after recalls are fixed. The Service Manager also stated that the recalls were known prior to the sale of the RV. I asked when the repair will be made, and was told whenever they get the parts. That it was out of their control. I just have to wait. It could be a week, month, year or more. Another manager tried to justify their breach of contract by telling me a story about Ford Dealership in which brand new vehicle she sold to a friend was inoperable for over a year because of supplier chain issue. Like that was to make me feel better! I explained to her I did not agree to undetermined delivery term. I would not have purchase the RV if that was the agreement. I decided to give it another week. After a week, I spoke with the Sale and Service Mangers, and requested that they resend the contract, or fix the RV as agreed upon. The Service Manager assured me that the parts would arrive on November 15, 2021, and the RV would be ready in couple of days. Like their usual unprofessional self, no contact. I contacted Camping World on November 23, 2021, and was told that all the parts were in except for the awning fabric, and that the awning fabric should come in about 3 weeks. The Service Manager told me that the RV will be ready by November 27th, and that I could come back once the awning fabric comes in. Once again no call to pickup the RV. I called Camping World on November 30th and was told by the receptionist, after the Service Manager declined to take my call, that the RV is not ready. The Receptionist stated that they are waiting for Parts. I later spoke to the general manager a day or so later to request a refund as the vehicle as it was not delivered as agreed upon. While in town visiting family from Ft. Riley, KS, our power had a short and we were running off the battery alone on our Coleman camper. We had plans in the morning before they opened so we planned on leaving our RV in their parking lot and calling when they opened to see if they would have a chance to look at it for us. One of the service techs was outside so my husband stopped to talk to him and give him a heads up on what the problem was. We called them once they opened and they had already pulled it around to start diagnosing it. This is a brand new camper, we were on our first trip out with it. We were 22 hours away from home and our "home" was hardly working and we felt stranded. The service department jumped right on it, somehow managed to finagle the lengthily warranty process and had our camper up and going that night. They called and wanted to keep it over night to be certain that it was back to 100%. They eased our mind, explained everything to us, jumped through hoops to get us back and going and just going above and beyond for our family. I have never stepped foot in to a store before feeling so helpless and walking out feeling like we were truly being taken care of with everything they had. Our family thanks you! To everyone from the ladies at the front registers that welcomed us as we walked in, the men at the service counter that helped get things going and the guys that did the dirty work of fixing everything that needed to be done. Our unit has literally spent 7-9 months out of the year there for repairs for the past 7 years. Every time they either do not fix what is broken/ damaged, do a repair that is unsatisfactory ( wallpaper seams fastened with scotch tape) or most often, their repairs are faulty and cause more damage to the original area and surrounding areas. Management does not care in the slightest and you're lucky if they even return your phone calls, so be prepared to drive there often. I strongly suggest you not waste your money there. The best part? Good luck finding an attorney that will take the case against them. No one will. read more

Only because I can't give the service dept less. Unprofessional, evasive, noncommittal employees lacking knowledge and the ability to be honest with customers. Was told 30-45 min. To check the a/c. Turned into 3 1/2 hrs with an estimate for new units with all parts in stock. My units ran fine until they killed the 12v. All turns out, new a/c parts are on an 8 week back order. Don't waste your time at the Holiday location expecting to buy an RV. From my experience, they will insult you with their offer, especially if you have a trade. I had a less than 6month old unit that I wanted to trade for an RV that better suited our needs and what I got was an offer than was thousands less than trade in value from their own printout of NADA values. This was the worst experience I have ever had attempting to make a large purchase. I received pre approval from my own bank prior to looking into financing from camping worlds preferred banks however after speaking with sales associate and sending in my credit application we were told that we were approved for a better loan. I wanted to make sure that this was definite because we had a few hours to drive to get to this location however this location was the only one with the toy hauler we wanted. Our sales associate told us we were in with the interest rate and terms we were quoted. Fast forward....... by the end of it all they want to give us a finance rate more than 1.3% more then quoted. This dealership sold us a brand new heartland mallard that fell apart in 4 months (February-June) (7 pin connector started smoking and melted 3rd time hooking up to tow, both hot and cold water lines under kitchen sink leaked that camping world installed, handle on fridge broke, final straw was wires hanging out the bottom rear trailer while driving on the interstate) CW said that happens often, WHAT? Wires don't just fall out of the bottom of a travel trailer and drag on the ground OFTEN. So we traded it for a fifth wheel at a different dealership. Now requesting all tire/ service/ gap coverage to be cancelled and they are saying they will help w cancellation but nothing happens. Don't buy the extra coverage it's useless. Do yourself a favor if you buy from this dealership.....HIRE YOUR OWN INSPECTOR before signing anything! It will be the best $$$ you'll EVER spend! I cannot express the disappointment I have for these folks and how much frustration this Camping World has created for my family. I honestly wish I did not even have to give these folks one star, and they truly deserve a negative rating. We dropped off our motorhome for them in October for repairs. We told the service technician that we needed to have it back by Christmas for a trip to visit family. We also said to them that we understand that because of COVID, parts have been an issue, but please keep us in the loop. At the beginning of December, I started calling them to get an update, I left multiple messages to service and managers, but not one person returned my calls. Finally, in December, I did the 45-minute drive to the store to get answers. When I got there, I spoke with the original technician, and he told me I was on his list to call today - I did not and still do not believe this to be true. He also told me that he was still waiting on parts, but it should be ready before December. I told them again that I understand that you all are busy and there are issues with parts, but please keep me in the loop. Please give me a weekly call letting me know what is going on. I never received any calls or updates from them, and I called back a few times with no response either. Finally, I was able to get through and was told that they would not be able to have it ready in time. This was very disappointing, and I was forced to tell my wife that we could not go home to see her family for the holidays. I told them that I needed it to be ready by February when we planned a week to stay at another location. The service technician said that would be no problem, and he felt terrible, but they would have it ready by then for sure. So I asked again that he keep me in the loop and let me know where we site; he did not. So I had to call them repeatedly and leave multiple messages, never to get a callback. I finally got in contact with them a week before our trip and was told that they ordered the wrong parts and would not be able to get it done. I lost it and said I was picking it up and taking it on the trip and returning it to them when I got back. I did this and dropped it back off and said that we are leaving in May for 3-4 months, and this must be completed by then. Please keep me in the loop. No calls, nothing. I finally called back last week and was told by a new person that they would have the technician call me back by the end of the day, that she would personally watch and make sure he called me back. He did not, but for the first time, I did receive a call from him the next day saying that it would be ready next week, but they still do not have the correct mirror since they ordered the wrong part. Either way, I am about to pick up my motorhome from them, and I would highly suggest going to someone else for service. This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and it took them over six months to complete something they said would be done in two. Worst of all, we find out that the slides still do not work correctly, the mirrors ordered were wrong and still not in, the water heater was the wrong color and they walked all over my bed vs. lifting it to have space to move. We bought a new rv in September. The salesmen did not know the rig at all. We were told things that were not true. As all new rugs there are alway bug to get out. The service to be done has not been taken care of nor even a call on what is going on. When we bought the rig where told the would move us, an confirmed date and time. I purchased a brand new camper from them last year and had immediate problems, including a leaky roof and water damage to the interior. They wanted to charge me $1500 to repair the roof, which was covered under warranty. I ended up having to get the manufacturer involved to force them to do the repair. Only the leak was actually fixed, and not very well. They never did repair the damage done to the interior. They had lost the second key when I purchased, and assured me that they would mail the replacement to me within a week. It took several calls and 4 months. The service department is horrible and slow. Several of the employees were rude and condescending, but none were as bad as the manager. Of the dozen plus people I had to deal with there, only one seemed nice and knew what he was talking about. He had told me off to the side that he hates working there due to the attitudes of the others, and his feeling guilty about their business practices. I purchased a hitch insert and brake assistant from them and paid them to install. They broke my dash while installing the brake controller, and just left the pieces on the floorboard. The insert broke within two months, but I didn't bother taking it back to them under warranty due to the difficulty of dealing with their repair department. Instead I went to RENTZ in Hudson and had them upgrade and replace the entire hitch system. The prices and service at RENTZ were superb. I will never do business with camping world again, and I warn as many of my fellow campers about them as I can. read more

So was at camping world earlier today, went on a ride with my parents, since there was a free 20 dollar coupon I found and was gonna use to get a quart of oil for my generator and a new section of septic tubing, one of mine is starting to develop a crack... well always had issuses for some reason from day one with my number, called and had it updated about 7 times already, I honestly dont care, but to tell me I dont have a account and cant let me save 7 bucks and try to sell me another year is some bs... sad part is my parents were gonna more then likely buy a rv from them today or later this week, and just showed how bad their custom service is,, walked out on a sales man, glad u guys lost out on over 50 grand all because a name wasnt right, so guess need to make sure u always have the card, number font work... gonna head over to lazy days where theu sort of care about the customer.. read more
