However, as many know, those repairs are not cheap but hey, if you can afford a RV then one must be prepared for those type of expenses. In this case, being camper newbies (well, we're not anymore really), it was our fault for not getting a cover or storing under cover and making sure to check out the seals and so forth on a monthly basis, especially, it being exposed to FL sun for the last almost 4 years. That cardinal mistake was a Pricey live-n-learn lesson. :( However, Jim, our Service man helped us through this ordeal and we were setup for service the same day we drove it in. I have to say, we're grateful to his customer service and his "tell it from the hip" manner. He helped us watch our budget too. It could have been a lot more expensive and we definitely could have spent a lot more on things that we really could wait on which he did a great job grounding us and reminding us to stay within budget. Not many places or people have your back in that way. Normally, we're super careful when it comes to trust especially when it comes to sales or repair centers. However, with Jim, we learned not all are out to get you and we trust him and will call on him first thing with any questions or repairs needed. I truly appreciate him, from a fellow Rv'er to another,We hope to see him at the tiki bar one day at the campground and share a beer. Needless to say we saved quite a bit and the final product turned out better than manufacturer roof. We found their prices anywhere from $300- $2000~ less from other places. (Will add new roof picture later) Even their roof maintenance package which is about $395 includes UV protection, rubberized(I may not be staying that right-sorry), sealing and testing, about $700 less than other places offering the same services. The materials or chemicals are pretty much the same or comparable to their competitors too. As for the retail merchandise, there's some things you will not find elsewhere other than Amazon. Some things you will find elsewhere but overall pricing is pretty competitive also you can get a discount if a Good Sam member too. We didn't purchase our RV from here so I can't review on the purchase process or RVs. Although they seem to have quite a selection as we toured some of the travel trailers, 5th wheelers and motor coaches. Anyways, I gave 4 stars because sometimes can be hard to get through to them right away but they will call you back at their earliest. 5 STARS to Jim -the Hubs and I recommend him to anybody who wants an honest, fellow RV'er that knows a great job done within reasonable cost is what really matters!! He calls you back within a timely fashion if he's unavailable to answer. By the way, he never made it a point to push us to do a trade-in, any pushy up sells or make a decision for us and we sure did ask. He was factual about what options were available and when we ask for his advice whether we should trade it in, his response was simple, "Do you love your RV? Are you happy with it? Do you want to change it out?" ... well, we do love this model, it works for us and that's all we needed to realize to make our right decision. Now, I will say, he did recommend an electric jack (Pictured but will add better quality pictures later) & Camping World was offering an install special pricing, and that's an extra we did get.

They offered me a very fair rental rate and a primo spot I was able to access 24/7....a rarity in many places! I was thinking about possibly doing a consignment deal to try to sell my 2015 Winnebago Era 170 while I was there, so the guys went through my unit thoroughly and gave me an idea of what it was worth. No hassle and they let me think it all over for a couple of weeks. No pressure. I decided against a consignment sale and opted instead to continue to drive it for another year. I'm headed back in a month for my annual trek. I wouldn't consider storing my unit anywhere else. Great guys who make customers feel like family. Who knows, I just might do that consignment deal this year!!

I bought a 2004 Jayco Greyhawk class C RV from these guys. I did what I thought was a pretty…read morethorough inspection prior to buying it and it was bought "as is" with no expressed warranty. I was happy with the final price and they did a very thorough walk thru with me showing me how everything worked and fixed any of the things I found wrong which was mostly superficial broken things like trim molding, plastic parts, etc... after getting it home I started encountering more issues that my test drive didn't reveal but I don't really think it was intentional on their part. I did the needed repairs and got it ready for a trip to Montana. I bought it during the dry season and about a month after I purchased it, we started getting very heavy rains everyday. About 100 miles into my 6000 mile trip out west while filling up the gas tank I noticed a very small deformation on the front side of the nose cap. There was a stick on reflector where it was protruding and I pealed it back to reveal a quarter size hole in the fiberglass right at the seam. I put a piece of tape on it and kept driving. We made it to GA and the tape had pulled off and the side panel was swollen and pulling back from the corner seam. I bought some incredibly strong "as seen on TV" waterproof sealing tape and taped over the hole and the seam. We did not want to cancel the trip over this but it was extremely nerve wracking because I was afraid that side panel was going to start ripping off. We kept an eye on the tape and added more as needed but the air pressure was causing the swelling and delamination to get worse. By the time I got home it was swollen all the way back to the bunk window. I called a delam repair company and they told me it would probably cost 5-7 grand to fix it! I was completely devastated as I still owe 22 grand on this thing. After further research I figured out that the stick on reflectors were added to cover the hole as they were not on any other Greyhawk I saw for that year. I brought it back to RV World expecting them to tell me to kiss their ass and that it was sold as is. They were very calming and said that they would try and fix it for a lot cheaper than what I was quoted and only charge me what their costs were. They had my RV for a month and when they called me to tell me it was done I was expecting them to say it was thousands of dollars to fix. The water damage got into the overhead bunk and all behind the panel. They had to replace a lot more than we originally thought but they fixed it right. They replaced the bunk, had to pull the bunk window and replace the panel behind it. It was a major repair and they did a great job! I couldn't be happier and they didn't try and rip me off or even charge me what the repair was worth. They took great care of me even though they had zero obligation or anything to gain.

At first, I thought it was another scam, because we have had so many, we can't count. I gave Bob a call back and I let him give his testimony of his company. I told him what we wanted, and he talked to his boss and came very close to what we needed. From the girls in the office (Crystal and Marsha) to the gentleman (Shawn) who came and inspected RV (Shawn likes to make you sweat :) ) everyone was excellent to deal with. Deplorable service. Travelcamp Brooksville did a terrible job in repairing the RV. First, it took 1…read moreyear. Communication with the insurance and the customer was awful. During the year, service managers were changed twice. There was some difficulty getting the metal, however, now that the main repair is completed, I have the RV home and the awful workmanship is now evident. First, the seals they placed around the slide are now coming off, the sheet metal edges are exposed. I will now have to spend several hundred dollars repairing those seals. There are large holes around the corners of the slide for rain and water to get in. The large D-seals fell off after two days. Also, the seals are not even bonded to the RV. No wonder they keep coming off. Secondly, the gutters are going uphill. I am not sure how that is supposed to get the rain off, but it is Florida, so it rains hard enough that gutters are pretty useless anyway. There is no caulking from the roof to the gutters, so not sure the amount of work I am going to have to do there. Third, the corner trim was not repaired, just caulked. The screws in all the trim are left exposed, no vinyl trim was placed. Another vinal trim appears cut. Next, no caulking over the entry door. First rain and it leaks. I cannot take it back there due to the poor work. There is no guarantee for the work, and so I am stuck to do it myself. The work is highly amateurish. I attempted to contact the general manager, only to be blown off.

They knew we were getting ready to live in it full time. Well, fought and fought with Wichita RV East for months with no resolve, so we contacted South Trails RV since we were now in Florida!! Holy cow there is customer service in the RV world!! Bonnie is awesome! She listened, wrote down our issues, set up a date (a week) for us to drop it off while we went on a cruise, and was able to complete some repairs and order the remainder! Within one visit, we had more focused interaction than eight months of dealing with the other dealer! Thanks to Bonnie and her team for getting our issues sorted out and for fighting with the manufacturer about warranty lag time due to the previous dealer!
