Fish tacos - Vera Cruz style on left, tempura in middle and grilled on right

The service was excellent. The booths are comfortable. The food was tasty and it was nearby our hotel. Highly recommend the fish tacos and will probably be stopping by again during our visit to try more things on their menu.

The chef in Trinis is excellent.Great food The staff is very friendly and kind. Great ambiance ,walls are full of art from well known local artist. Comfortable seating. Can handle large parties. Air conditioning if needed.

Yummy shrimp chili relleno with steak combo. Half eaten. I forgot to take it before we dove in.

We drove by and seen this little Gem when we walked in it was so nicely decorated with an art gallery for sale of beautiful paintings! I will be back to purchase as soon as we find a spot to hang them. We stayed in Los Barriles for 2 weeks and we ate here 3 times. Great food!! See you in December 2022

Whole fried red snapper.

Triny's never fails to satisfy. This was our 4th time there since 2016. The service was exceptional as always. I can't say that any dish was the best as it was all so delicious. We started with cocktails, tuna curricanes, and seafood campechana. And the main dishes were the whole fried red snapper and 2 different combos with flank steak, pork tamales, and Chile relleno. Each entree came with 2 small pieces of quesadilla, and beans. Don't skip this gem

Went here for dinner twice in three days... it's pretty good, but short of great. Tonight we lucked out on the fried clams, which we liked last time, but they must have run out of clams because we got scallops, which is better. I had a whole fried snapper that was good and my wife had a Porto(bello) burger which was crazy thick (with two portobello heads) and some thick-cut fries. Last time I had a grilled halibut with some kind of tapenade on it. All very good, and proper portions (some places around here have giant portions). Drinks were big and fruity, and you can sit by the doors or outside if you are concerned about COVID exposure. As an extra bonus, they take credit cards and the waitresses are beautiful.

The service is amazing!! Make sure to ask for Rodrigo because he will make sure to take care of you and you will want to follow his recommendations. Our group tried a little of everything. The Grilled tuna steak with the Habanero sauce is the best tuna i have had in my life And i have been catching and eating fresh tuna for 30+ years.

Referred by my hotel taxi driver, Triny was a wonderful place to sample the local fare. The Fried fresh red snapper, broiled octopus with chimichurri, and a seafood linguini were all first-class. The establishment is very clean, has ample wait-staff always available and attentive to your every need. Just ask! Pricing is very fair for the quality of food being served. I hope that we will be able to enjoy this restaurant for many more years to come!

Everyone who was working wore a mask and they were very friendly! Very strong drinks which in my opinion is awesome! The food was delicious! I loved my Garlic shrimp plate was delicious and the presentation was beautiful! They even put a little flower to really brighten up the dish! My dad loved his burger especially the adorable little basket that held the fries! The way they presented their tortilla soup was really awesome too! They served it deconstructed so you could make it exactly how you would want to have it. My dads friend Steve who, ordered the shrimp tacos, said they food was delicious and he loved that they gave you a bunch of shrimp on each tacos! Overall this place was amazing and definitely would recommend it to anyone who comes here! I attached some photos so you guys can see just how good this food looks!

I have to say, Smokey's stands out as an American bar-restaurant in an otherwise Mexican resort town. Their Shrimp Linguini Alfredo rivals any we've had in the US. And their Pescado Vericruzano (Yellowtail Veracruz) is superb. Both are top examples of what you would expect from a seafood region, such as San Francisco or New Orleans. Smokey's is probably the hottest club atmosphere in town also - a mix of stylish singles, sport fishermen, and American ex-patriot retirees, all becoming friends over the topic of food, drink and sports playing on 3-4 big-screen TVs. Attire is what-ever's-comfortable. And the parking lot is SUVs and 4-wheel ATVs, side by side. And I must say, our waitress, Gloria, was glorious! A couple locals on guitars and bongos play for tips - regulars, obviously known to everyone. After a week of Mexican cuisine elsewhere (tacos, enchiladas, and endless guacamole), it's really refreshing to find a more American diversion. The only thing missing are steak entrees, Smoky's is clearly a seafood restaurant and bar!

You could easily miss it if you blink. ;) The three of us sat down at a table in the middle of the establishment. They had the fans going, but because they use a wood burning fire, it is very smokey and you will end up smelling like a barbecue. As long as you don't mind that, the food was really good. We started off with the camaron ceviche (shrimp/prawn). It was priced at $7.50 usd which I thought was a bit on the pricer side for mexico, but it was huge and easily enough for 3 people as an appetizer. The chips here are store bought, not homemade, but I didn't come here for the chips. Next up was the entree. I ordered camaron imperales ($14) - huge prawns with cheese wrapped in bacon. They were really good a little bit too much cheese for me, but still tasty. They boys split the Pirata Combination ($16) which was one camaron imperales, one coconut shrimp topped with banana, one seabass, one piece of octopus served with a potato on top of a salad. They boys loved the combo! They have a variety of soda, beer and wine. I stuck with a homemade lemonade which was made with sparkling water. Service was great, street parking was easy. For the quality of food, the prices are reasonable.
