Horrible service, no calls back when you leave messages, and the reasoning for a pharmacist's inability to fill a prescription that day is because "he took an abnormally long lunch today". i had my prescription sent to this pharmacy because they had good reviews and at other main pharmacies, like CVS or Walgreens, my medication is on back order. They refused to fill my prescription because it was the only medication I am currently taking. I take alot of supplements but I'm still young and don't require a bunch of medication right now, thankfully! Basically, they confirmed that they do have the medication on hand but won't fill my prescription which was sent into them electronicly from the doctor's office! They told me they need to save their medication for the patients they already have! unbelievable, as I would have been a returning customer and could have made that my pharmacy for if my daughter ever needed medication or a prescription filled!! don't waste your time here. they are very stuck up! read more

This pharmacy used to be the best one to go to. Quick, easy, efficient. Bruce was the best pharmacist you could ask for. He has left now and the place has gone down the toilet. The staff is very kind but has no idea what they're doing, and there's like 6 of them. THE PHARMACIST KEITH DOES NOT WEAR A MASK WHEN HANDLING YOUR MEDICINE!!!!!! WTF?? Like ew, there's a pandemic. Been a loyal Dogherty customer since I moved to Dallas 4 years ago. My monthly prescriptions total over $12,000 retail price so I should be a valued customer and once felt that way. Since the loss of their great pharmacist James, service has gone steadily downhill and they regularly do not have the scripts I need. They seem to be operating with Pharmacist temps so maybe things will get better but much like CVS and Walgreens they no longer even give the image that they care and you feel like just a number. We have been coming to this location of Dougherty's for years. But over the past month or so I have had several poor experiences, but today was the worst and resulted in this review. I filled a prescription by phone on Friday. I didn't have the bottle so I talked to the individual answering the phone. When I walked in today past the vaccine line I was welcomed by the 1-man show that was present. Literally, 1 person running the vaccine line, running the counter, and presumably filling prescriptions. They had no record of my refill. While standing there, another pharmacy customer walked in and they had been waiting over a week for refills. Apparently most of the staff have taken off for some reason and they couldn't get anyone else to fill in. He actually said he couldn't fill your prescription unless you had the bottle for the old prescription. I asked him if I could move my prescriptions to another pharmacy and he told me that I needed to write them all down. He had me yelling personal info across the pharmacy. I have no clue what went wrong in the past month but we are calling all our docs to move prescriptions. It was great, but bye. read more

Just got my COVID-19 vaccine from here! Injector was amazing, super speedy, didn't hurt! I requested an appointment four days beforehand and they got back to me right away. The place was clean and I felt very comfortable getting my shot. The line was a bit long (maybe arrive 40-30 minutes before your appointment) but overall my experience was great. BEWARE! This pharmacy has changed it's name to Campbell Pharmacy. Do not use this pharmacy for your COVID 19 vaccinations! They do not register their vaccines in Immtrac. My 2nd dose vaccine was done at this location on 4-1-21. It's been 5 long months and the Texas Dept of State Health Svs. told me this 2nd dose of COVID 19 vaccination that was done here is still not logged into the official Texas registry. They told me they were suppose to enter the vaccines within 24 hours. It's been 5 mos! If my employer requires that I be fully vaccinated from COVID19, the registry shows I have only received one dose from Denton County. If I lose my vaccination card, there is no proof I had it done here. Please choose another provider and save you the headache I'm going thru. read more

I have had a horrible experience with Dougherty's over the past three days and am still without my medication and an answer as to when it will be ready. Have placed a total of ten calls to both the Campbell location and the Preston location to locate my prescription and status. I am either put on hold indefinitely or transferred to another person who doesn't answer. In addition the store website nor maps has the correct days and times for opening thus I went to the store only to find it closed. I will not return or recommend anyone going forward. read more

We got our first COVID vaccination at the Campbell location. It was a 2 hour wait, but was okay with that because we were a walk-in. They told us to come back on April 22, and that our appointment was at 2:00. On April 21st I called and specifically asked if I could just cut through the line and go in for my appointment, or did I need to wait in the long line. I was told "oh no ma'am, if you have an appointment for a specific time, we will take you at that time. You don't wait in the line". On April 22, my husband and I took off work, drove the 35 minutes to get there. We arrived at 1:44, ahead of time. I walked in and an extremely loud and rude short girl was already yelling at a man saying "I don't care if you have an appointment. You are GOING to wait in that line because EVERYONE in the line has an appointment. The line went around the building and almost out of the parking lot. Well, what choice did we have? We had already taken off work and we weren't likely to get in anywhere else. We go stand in line. 30 minutes later, same rude dark haired girl comes out and says "Everybody who ain't on this sidewalk( pointing to a small area next to the store) needs to go to the other location on Preston and 635. You can Google the address".. Now I have to drive even further and wonder what awaits me there. Well, luckily the 635 and Preston location was AMAZING! We were in and out in less than 45 minutes. It all worked out, but something needs to be done about the Campbell location. Disorganized, RUDE, and apparently no one knows the procedures I did NOT appreciate being lied to, or being yelled at because I had the wrong info. I mean, how dare I expect to get in at my appointment time. I hope this location closes or gets all new staff. These people don't know what they are doing with organizing stuff. read more

I had an amazing experience in getting my vaccine from Dougherty's Pharmacy in North Dallas. When going to receive my first dose, the lines were not long at all, and I was greeted by very friendly staff. The nurse that administered the shot was gentle and quick. Upon my return for the second dose, the lines were long but the pharmacy staff provided a very efficient process to get everyone through the lines quickly. I was able to get in and out. Me and my 78 year old husband went here to get our Covid shot. We both are over 70 (I am 77) And have underlying health issues. My husband has has triple bypass surgery and chronic heart problems. I have asthma and both osteo and rheumatoid arthritis which gives me a great deal of pain in my spine, feet and hands. I have to lift him in and out of the car, which is very difficult and painful. My husband is crippled, has a broken hip so he needs to use a wheelchair. He cannot sit for more than 15 minutes before he is in unrelenting, horrific pain. (He lays in bed for about 16 hours out of 24 due to his pain.) When we arrived at Dougherty's for our shots, strangers, who were not aware of our health issues, kept moving us toward the front of the line. When we got to Dougherty's immunizer, she berated us for Lin o he front of the line. I tried to inform her of my husband's condition. She refused to listen but she spoke over me. "At least he has a chair to sit on!" We were very humiliated. Again, I tried to explain that others urged us forward and that my husband suffers in great pain. She spoke even louder, "I don't care!" she said. You have to get at the back of the line, like everyone else.". We noticed most all of "everyone else" were much younger than us. We were shocked and humiliated by her unnecessary cruelty. Is this Dougherty's (on Campbell) idea of quality healthcare? Is it their policy to humiliate seniors like us? We need to return for our 2nd shots. We are not looking forward to being humiliated again. It's bad enough we are punished by health issues. Why does a Dougherty employee find it necessary to cruelly humiliate us? We have no choice but to go back next month. After that, we will never cross Dougherty's (on Campbell) threshold again! Out of five stars, I give Dougherty's, on Campbell, a negative ten! Unfortunately, that is not a choice, so I give it 1 star. We go to Dougherty's on Preston and Royal. Their people are respectful, kind, helpful and pleasant. Our experience there is nothing at all like our shocking, disgustingly cruel, horribly humiliating experience at Dougherty's on Campbell. read more

I was very pleased with my service here. After looking all over Dallas for a place to fill my regular prescription (my two regular pharmacies were out-of-stock) and having a horrible experience at Texas Star Pharmacy I was recommended to Dougherty's. I called them to see if they had it in stock and to ensure it was the generic version as well as giving them my insurance information. The Pharmacist told me that he had it in stock, my insurance was covered, and to bring my prescription in. I took the drive from North West Frisco after having a terrible day looking around town for my prescription, being told by numerous pharmacies they had it in stock only to drive there and find out they didn't have it in stock, being treated terribly and discriminated against by Texas Star Pharmacy, and feeling sick from recovering from recent surgery I was just hoping they would be able to deliver. I arrived and spoke to the pharmacist (I'm sorry I forgot his name) and he took my information down and began filling the prescription. He then called me over and I was halfway expecting more disappointment. He informed me that he was filling it for me, that he carries this in stock regularly, however, to call him ahead of time if possible next time due to him taking a huge hit on the insurance reimbursement. I felt really bad because he had been so great with me but he filled it anyways and reassured me that it wasn't my fault and that I was welcomed back anytime just to let him know so that they can try and work something out with my insurance. I then called my wife to tell her I was on my way home and she informed me that she had a specially blended medication Dougherty's supposed to fill for her at some point and wanted me to ask some questions. I went back in and asked the pharmacist some questions and he gave me the information needed as well as some really great pointers to help make the process go smoothly. Again, I can't explain how pleased I was with my experience here. I hope that something will work out with my insurance reimbursement because I really would like to come back regularly even though its a drive. He often has my scripts ready by the time I reach the counter. Today he saved me $50 on a prescription, inputting my info himself using a manufacturer's coupon--and he was so quick. I cant even give this any stars based on 2 customer service failures on the same prescription!!!!! Today marks the 2nd time this store failed me. First time(I ever used this pharmacy at this location too) was in December when I needed a compound prescription. I left it there and was never called to let me know it was ready. When I finally got someone I was told oh yes, it is in the refrigerator and has been there for weeks???? I got lots of excuses for why this happened but none made sense as I asked don't you log into a computer once you make and notify the patient????! I needed this prescription cream refilled so I called on Monday am and asked to be contacted by phone to confirm that the message was received and they could do the refill. I never got a call back!!!!! This am 48 hours after the first call on Monday, I called and left yet another message. No calls back so I called the store and again Dawn, the manger, made more excises but the best was oh we don't do compounds anymore at our store???? We send to the Preston Royal location.
