We all love Camp Bow Wow! Reba has the best time playing with all of her furry friends and getting love from all of her human friends! She's happy to get there, and happy to come home. It's the best of both worlds. I check in during the day in the webcams and she's usually playing or taking a nap, smack dab in the middle of the play area. She feels comfortable and confident at CBW! All of the staff, including the owners, Kelly and Eric, are the best. Always very welcoming and smiling. I know that Reba is well cared for when staying for daycare or for her overnight boarding. Yards are way too small, and dogs get into fights more often than not. They pass dogs that should not be in daycare, and hardly listen to staff, if ever. read more

We have been coming here for years, we stopped traveling for a while and didn't need to put our dog in here(2 years) well we had to go out of town for 4 days and took him in, well, we tried to find him on the cams. and nothing, called to ask about this, NO ANSWER!! we still tried to find him on the cams. and noticed that none of the dogs had been out for over 4 hours!! again we called, emailed and no returned call... then late in the day we saw that some of the dogs were in one of the smaller areas and the caretaker(wearing a shirt that said "JOY" on it) was getting a water hose out and spraying the dogs to keep them of some of the ramps in that area!! our dog along with many others were cowering against the wall, trying to stay dry!! when we got him home he was really thirsty and just wanted to sleep. we will never go back!!!!! read more

Camp Bow Wow Loveland 1227 Des Moines Ave, Loveland, CO 80537 The 2 stars are for the 6 and a half years that were wonderful with Camp BowWow. The last 3 months at Loveland have been disappointing. We have been good clients. I have always tipped really well and have left great reviews. I told the Lead after the several issues we've had the last several times that I would not leave a review if the "Owner called me back. Not the Manager!" It's been 72 hours and no call from the owners. In fact I've never met them. The manager called. We will not be back to this location! We LOVED Camp BowWow for the last 7 years. Maizee was the "interview dog" when we lived in NM. When the counselors don't even touch the dogs and barely interact with their campers it's disheartening. They carry squirt bottles instead. If this is how they treat my dog on camera, I can only imagine how she is treated when the cameras are off. The yards used to be spotless. Now they are dirty. First time ever I was told they were sorry but her blanket was dirty. Yuck! I've found other camper's medication in my bag when checking out. They no longer provide the report cards. No treats up front. It appears they hire counselors who really don't like dogs. This last time was the first time my dog was trying to back out. I do hope they turn things around. For now we've found wonderful dog sitters who will give her the love and attention this location used to provide. read more

First time coming here, but we absolutely love it! Kelly, the owner was incredibly responsive with her emails and trying to help get us in as soon as possible. The staff is also amazing; very sweet and helpful. They start with an "interview" for your dogs where you come into the lobby and they take your dog to the back, one by one. At first I thought it was a bit strange, but after seeing how well it really tests the personality of an animal, I no longer thought it was strange. You're able to watch the entire "interview" on the screens in the lobby. I watched as they brought in a female dog, then a male dog, then other dogs out to see how they would react. I really enjoy how they don't just throw your dogs into a play area with a dozen other dogs. It gives your pup time to get adjusted to the new environment and new dogs. They also have temperature controlled rooms, large boarding kennels, large grooming room, and I love most that there's a camera where you can constantly see your pup while you're not there. At the end of their interview you get a report card and an adorable certificate! We cannot wait to come back! read more

Before we dropped off our dogs, they told us we could keep our two dogs in one crate and then when we got there, they said we had to keep them separate. When we picked up our dogs, we found out that they didn't give one of the medications correctly. It needed to be given on an empty stomach and they said they only give meds with meals. On top of all this, we got a notice that there was kennel cough there and yes, our dog got it. read more

This was in Loveland, CO. We had our dog here in the "Queen" room where we could watch her over the weekend being boarded. When we got her there 45 minutes before they put the pups up for the night, they said she would have to go into her cage and they were closing all dogs away . No play time despite the advertised signs of open on the door. We also paid an additional $30 for the "queen suite" for her to be on camera over the weekend but the camera was broken. We did not get reimbursed for the extra $30 paid, and found out Savanah was no longer with the company, and despite the kind Riley, she said she would follow up and no news back from her. Truly a discouraging and frustrating experience. The staff in back seem attentive, but if the front desk is like this who knows. We are back to Dogtopia-despite the drive-they are amazing! read more

A disastrous 10 days for both of our dogs. One got kennel cough that developed into pneumonia, and the other had horrible diarrhea and goopy eye infections for over a week!!!!. Both dogs were put in isolation. No one called our emergency number and camp bow wow did not have a veterinarian on call. They didn't even call our veterinarian! Both dogs were isolated. Our Shitzu nearly died. We had to take her to the emergency vet clinic as she was so very ill. The doodle had to also be treated , vet bills totaled $1,188.47. The management did not take responsibility. After many weeks $505 was deposited to our. account!!!! What!!! We are now taking them to small claims court to recover our costs. Not to mention how stressed we were with 2 very ill dogs after we put 2 strong health dogs in their care. Also disgusted we were with their shoddy treatment . We cannot give them a rating. Would never recommend taking your pets there! read more

I want to love this place. The owner is very nice. And it is super cute. But the first time I boarded my dog there to fly out of state he came back with pink eye and kennel cough. The vet bill that I had to spend on top of the boarding fee to get him well... Not fun. I was walking my dog the other day I met someone who said her friend took her dog only once here as well and that dog also got kennel cough. Due to my dog getting sick I had to cancel an upcoming family vacation that was planned way ahead of time. Not worth any slight convenience going there could bring. read more

My Corgi LOVES CampBowWow. As soon as we arrive to the building, he becomes super excited and wants to get in the doors as soon as he can! Kelly is personable and willing to communicate to any worried parents about their fur baby. I had a concern about a bigger pup maybe picking on my little corgi, and Kelly called me immediately and addressed the concern I had. She made me feel comfortable and I was fully confident that Rusty would remain safe for his first over night stay. The dogs are always being watched, and go through an interview process before being allowed to enter their section of the camp. I watched via webcam, the employees slowly introduce my pup to one dog at a time until he was ready to join the whole crew. You guys are awesome! Kelly is amazing so sweet and kind when I check in and Slade is beyond excited. I have a very high energy pup and my husband had to make a quick trip home suddenly cause his mom got sick and I work night shift. We were trying to figure out what to do so Slade would not get bored. So we started him at daycare and it saved me this week for sure! When I got off work would come get Slade and then drop him off so I could sleep and get ready for my next night of work. He came home good and tired and I didn't have to worry about him being alone overnight at home. Thank you Camp Bow Wow. Slade loves it there and all the pups he gets to play with non stop lol. He already knows when we pull in and gets excited! I love the cameras so I can check in on him. Even people at work were watching my pup play, which made me laugh. My loyalty to this camp bow wow runs deep. Every chance, they make the right call for both my dogs. Anytime I'm traveling and can't bring my dogs I take comfort in the fact that they're here and couldn't be taken care of better. Just had our dog groomed here for the third time. The first two times went great and we felt they did a terrific job. Our dog just requires a bath and her nails trimmed. After this last visit what normally takes them about 45 minutes to an hour to do, they called and said our dog was done after only 15 minutes. When we picked her up they told us she wouldn't let them trim her nails, but still charged us $40 for the whole thing. Our dog has never had a problem with her nails being trimmed by a groomer, and maybe she was having an off day, so fine we can do that another time, but to still charge $40 for only a 15 minute bath is ridiculous. Not only that but she was still wet afterwards. They clearly rushed and didn't get her all the way blow dried. We will not be back. We don't mind paying for a good grooming but the service our dog received is not worth that. Especially when they had set a great standard two times previously. read more

Our original groomer was booked out, so they recommended us to this place but when we arrived we explained exactly what we wanted and the lady said she understood but once we came to pick him up his hair was almost bald and they mentioned it's because he was matting under his coat and that wasn't the case. He is a shih-poo so very fluffy then when he got groomed his hair is all gone and they didn't care. We got a full service groom and they didn't even cut his nails. And they didn't give us his harness back during pickup. I wouldn't recommend this place for any new customers! read more

My dog stayed there 1 time for day care. I won't go back, there are better places for him to stay. When I checked how he was doing on the web cam, I saw bored dogs. There was nothing for them to do and the attendant didn't engage them or pet or talk to them. In fact, my dog went up to the attendant and looked at her. Just a pet, maybe a belly rub or even a lovely word from her would have been nice. But, she totally ignored him. Paying more attention to what was going on in the large dog section. Oh, and be sure to offer your dog some water when you pick them up. Mine was ravenous thirsty. read more
