Pepper lovin' the treadmill at Bow Wow

We can't say "Bow Wow" in our house without our pup going crazy and running for the door! So nice to have a great safe and friendly place to take my boy. Grooming is great, staff is awesome.

I took my pitbull there for a full day. I picked her up and took her on a walk right after. While walking my dog I noticed a tick on her head so I pulled it off easily which means it was fresh. After this we went back home and I decide to check her for more ticks. And I found multiple bite marks all over her body. Some were still bleeding with chunks of her hair coming out. Also on her shoulders(where more of the bites were located) her fur seems shorter like she had tape on her or as if someone has shaved that part of her shoulder. This is absolutely not acceptable. I understand dogs get at it and maybe they couldn't separate the dogs fast enough but they should have told us what happen which they didn't. My dog was super scared the whole night. She would flinch everytime I would pet her. She wouldn't get up. She wasn't following us around the house. My dog was completely terrified. I called up right away and talk to Trish the manager on duty and she wasn't helpful at all. I also went in the next dog to show them what happen. And there weren't taking responsibility for what happen. They said it looked like a scratch. I wanted an explanation as to why this happen to my dog? I'm paying them to watch my dog and they can't tell me what happen to her? They are the worst. Please DO NOT take your dog there. Two days after the incident and my poor dog isn't her self. I will tell this story to everybody I can because I wouldn't want this to happen to any other dog. Your dogs are safer at home, they might be bored but believe me it's better than paying for your dog to come out of camp hurt and scared with no explanation as to what happen. Booking the Wedding Day Dog Attendant service through Happy Bark & Tails for my 11-month-old puppy…read morewas one of the best decisions I ever made. My now-husband and I were in the midst of planning our wedding when we decided to adopt our beautiful puppy, Oreo, and we wanted to ensure that he could be a part of our wedding. Thank goodness we found Happy Bark & Tails. From our first meeting, the owner, Madeline, was informative, and caring, gave us a clear idea of what to expect on our wedding day, and took the time to answer all our questions. Every step of the way, Madeline was patient, responsive, and put us at ease. We even scheduled a meet-and-greet a few weeks before the wedding with Madeline and her husband, Gabriel, who is also a co-owner of the business. We were certain that they would not only care for Oreo but treat him like their own baby. On the day of our wedding, Madeline and Gabriel arrived at our hotel and immediately took care of Oreo. They put on his cute "best dog" scarf and bow tie and handled him while my husband and I got ready for our wedding. They walked him, fed him, played with him, helped him pose for pictures with us, and treated Oreo like family. They transported him to the venue, took him back to our hotel, and stayed with him until we got back. We couldn't have asked for a better company or people to work with! They also documented our wedding day with photos from Oreo's perspective. The gallery of photos was beautiful and something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend Happy Bark & Tails for all your wedding pet care needs. They were great to work with and we have already recommended them to another couple!

It was so important to us that our two pups be included on our big day, and Madeline made sure they were both included and so lovingly cared for. One of our pups is 15 years old and as anxious, adoring pawrents we were worried about her ability to navigate our wedding venue and the excitement of the day. Those worries quickly dissipated because Madeline cared for both our pups as if they were her own, and we effusively recommend Happy Bark & Tails to anyone who loves their pup and can't imagine their wedding day without them.

We chose Best Friends Pet Hotel because it had more positive reviews than negative ones and it was close to home. We also loved the fact that we could upgrade our dog's stay to be able to see her in her room and watch her during outside play time. Initially we planned on the individual play package because she is very excitable around other dogs, but after speaking to Alexis early on during Brooklyn's stay, we opted to "try" group play. If things went well, Brooklyn could continue to attend group, but if it wasn't in her or the other dogs' best interest, we would continue with individual play. Alexis and the other staff members worked hard on getting Brooklyn to come out of her shell and made accommodations for her so that she felt comfortable in the presence of the other dogs (for example: bringing her out before the other dogs so that she could get acquainted with the environment). This was truly the BEST experience I could have hoped for during our trip as having her around other dogs has felt nearly impossible! Alexis emailed me pictures of Brooklyn and wrote me an email about how she was doing. I called again a few days later after having watched her each day play in the indoor and outdoor areas with the other dogs and was pleased to hear how well she was doing. The play area cameras allowed us to check in on her during play time and we also got to see the staff clean the area several times, which was reassuring. My only complaint (which may not even be a big deal for most if not booking "luxury" package) is that the pet cam in the "luxury" rooms is closer to the door, which doesn't allow you to see your dog if they are on their bed or towards the back of the room. We did catch Brooklyn a few times cooling off on the floor and when staff was picking her up/dropping her off at play times. Otherwise, everything else was great! If we had to leave Brooklyn outside of family's care again whether for a day or a week, we would choose this Best Friends Pet Hotel again.

I came back to pick him up to find that he was trimmed all over and shaved on his underside when it's 20 degrees out. I immediately contacted them only to.fond out that Ed fired my sweet boy as a client. Claiming it was his behavior. My dog was a sweetheart and wouldn't hurts a fly. There was also a counter person that witnessed my instruction to the groomer. Prior to leaving,I turned and asked if his pick-up would be earlier since he was not getting a cut. All being said, they terminated my account after I had been bringing him there for almost 2 years. These people are dishonest and pay no attention to your direction. Turns out, it was the best thing that could've happened because we found a wonderful groomer only mins away.from home. The place is immaculate, unlike Best Friends. My recommdation is for Morris Animal Inn in Warren. Incredibly friendly, honest and caring group of people. Keep away from Big Ed. He is not a good person.
