I completely understand that unexpected staffing issues happen, However, if a restaurant knows that they are short-staffed and cannot fulfill orders in a reasonable amount of time, they should not continue accepting third-party delivery orders. Customers should not be left waiting for nearly two hours with no reasonable option to cancel and receive a refund. We were left hungry, frustrated, and feeling like our money was essentially being held hostage because canceling the order meant losing our $70. I hope Pancho Villa will take this as an opportunity to reconsider how they handle third-party orders when they are understaffed. Customers deserve transparency, reasonable wait times, and, most importantly, a fair option to receive a refund when a restaurant is unable to fulfill an order within the promised timeframe.
