But let me say this, I have been twice to Grandover Village Dental and my experience has been extraordinarily pleasant each time. I mean I didn't write the review the first time because I'm like when I go back in 6 months it might be different. Nope! Same great care and pleasant staff from the time I walked in to the time I left. First, let me start off by saying I appreciate the multiple reminders about your appointment. I love the text message option! I'm super busy so this is just convenient for me. Second, my appointment was for 9am and I was called back within 10 min of that time. Next, I'm greeted by amazing dental hygienist name Nicola who was very knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail to me. So I've had the luxury of meeting both dentists. Their polite demeanor and explanations of what I needed was like music to my ears. Most dentists, "tell" what you need to do. They explained my options, told me what could wait and what was urgent. And provided me with pros and cons of my decisions. All I can say is that I'm grateful to finally be somewhere that I feel comfortable visiting every 6 months.

Dr. Brad Samuel came in to do the examination and he was thorough making sure I didn't have any issues. The office staff are wonderful as well. They are attentive to any and all questions. The office overall is very clean and soothing. If you're looking for a new dentist I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

The office staff was really friendly and check-in was quick. After a couple of x-rays, the hygienist started doing the cleaning and she was incredibly gentle. It was a really great experience and I'm glad I chose here to get my dental work done. They did a great job removing my wisdom teeth and one of my molars, so i'll give them that. But due…read moreto events before and after they're only getting one star from me. My initial consult on 1/19 itself left me unsure about them. My dental insurance is through delta given via the Atrium Health hospital system. They NEVER give us an insurance card for this. Even when i worked there. I don't know how many times I had to repeat this fact to the lady at the front desk. That alone was getting me to the point where I was close to saying F this and just leaving and asking my dentist to refer me somewhere else. She was talking to me like I was a child, because I didn't know specific information THAT I DID NOT HAVE SINCE DELTA DID NOT GIVE US AN INSURANCE CARD. But now the big kicker is a bill that I've received THREE MONTHS AFTER MY EXTRACTION, saying that we owe almost $3000 out of freaking no where. We were told that we only owed $600 and some change after insurance, so that's what we payed. and now all of a sudden we're getting a bill (which says late, but how is it a late bill if WE WERE NEVER INFORMED ABOUT IT) that says we owe almost $3000. I'll be calling in the AM to learn more, but this has tanked any good feelings I had about this business. They would never get any sort of recommendation from me to anyone I know.

I've now had TWO dental appointments cancelled by Dr. Scott's office within the same year, and both…read moretimes the handling was unacceptable. The first cancellation happened 10 months ago. I was told they'd "get me in on the next cancellation," but after months of me repeatedly calling to follow up, nothing ever opened up. Eventually I gave up and scheduled another appointment -- 7 months out. Now, just 3 weeks before that appointment, I called to confirm it myself (thankfully), only to be told it had been cancelled AGAIN because the doctor would be out all week. No phone call. No notification. No effort to proactively contact patients. The solution offered? "We can put you on the cancellation list." That same cancellation list already failed once and effectively delayed my cleaning and x-rays by nearly a year. What's most frustrating is the complete lack of urgency or accountability. This office is only open 4 days a week, yet there seems to be no plan to accommodate the backlog of patients affected by repeated cancellations. No extended hours, no added availability, no meaningful attempt to make things right. When I asked for a recommendation for another dentist, the only response I got was "sorry." So here's my recommendation instead: if you're looking for a reliable dentist in Greensboro, avoid Dr. Scott's office unless you enjoy waiting close to a year for appointments that may never happen.

He went back and looked at previous xray and apologized said he missed seeing it. Tooth could have been saved except for his inattention to detail, as itshowed on 3 previous xrays. So he pulled the tooth, had difficulties broke it into pieces DID NOT XRAY afterwards - 2 weeks went by I was still in pain went back and told them there was pieces of tooth left behind not to mention stitches dangling down whichthey removed. I could feel it with my tongue his assistant checked and said no theres nothing there I said but I can feel it again she said I assure you theres nothing there. Sent me on my way NO XRAYs. Later that same day frustrated I pulled out 3 large pieces of tooth myself 1/8" in size. Fast forward 2 months had my 1st appointment with a NEW Dentist, she immediately referred me to an Oral Surgeon as the wound from previous tooth was not healed and had pus seeping out.
