This place no longer exists.. when I went there they were all closed up and the windows were blacked out

I received flowers from my son and daughter-in-law on Monday 5/9, and it's now Wednesday and I have already had to dispose of some of the flowers yesterday and today because they are wilted and droopy. I have ordered my mom a gardenia corsage for mother's day every year for the last 10 years. I'm in SLC, so I was wary about ordering something and never seeing it, but the quality is always great and my mom LOVES them. Every year she tells me they are beautiful and so fragrant. I usually order them 7-10 days in advance, but this year time got away from me and I woke up in a panic about whether or not I was going to let my momma down. Enter Shawna and Cameo Florist. She reassured me they could get this for me, and Shawna even took the time to look up my order from last year when I couldn't remember specifics on what I got. Well, sadly, my experience with Teleflora and this flower shop was less than stellar. First, the flowers I ordered were apparently not available, which is fine, send something else... it was also a day late and the 'something else', looked horrible! Looked like it had been dropped or maybe a kid put it together and the flowers arrived with many flowers already wilted! It arrived like that! I contacted Teleflora and they said they would give me a $15 credit back. I spent $$$, and they want to give me $15! Replace the flowers with fresh ones, that actually look good or give a full refund. DO NOT USE TELEFLORA! And, you should probably stay clear of this florist too. I can't imagine sending out a flower arrangement with wilted flowers. Not cool. read more

Our staff sent a sympathy bouquet to a very dear friend and co-worker who lost her father recently out of state. The last time we ordered flowers for a funeral we used an online service. We were embarrassed and a little upset that we spent so much money for a very spindly, small arrangement. We were able to attend this in-state service. Our friend just texted pictures of the bouquet from Cameo Florist in St. George, Utah. It was better than the picture I saw when I placed the order with the very efficient and accommodating gentleman who took my order over the phone. I didn't have any problems with this business, good prices, the flowers were ready on time, and my mother loved them. I liked the option of sending balloons, stuffed animals, and chocolates. All in all a good experience. read more

Well, we won't be using Cameo Florist and will advise our relatives to do the same. Their delivery guy decided to practically beat our door down today- twice, impatiently, without giving me a reasonable amount of time to answer the first time. He hit it repetitively so hard with his fist I was almost afraid to open it to see who it was. He did this not once but twice. I later checked the stucco around the outside of the door to see if it was cracked. Fortunately it was not. For some reason he decided to bypass the door bell that was in good working order. Whoever the guy was he lacks basic courtesy. He appeared to be Asian American and middle aged. read more

I went in to Cameo Florist to purchase some Mother's Day gifts. They were very helpful and changed the ribbon and wrapping for the plant (at my request) that I purchased. I then contacted them by phone this morning and asked them to prepare a rush order for my grandson's birthday today for balloons, candy, stuffed animal etc. They were so kind and willing to walk through the store to tell me over the phone what was available and send pictures to my email for my approval. I felt like they cared about my situation and making it special for my grandson. Each interaction with Cameo Florist was very positive! read more

Unfortunately, my first experience with Cameo Florist is my last. Although the service over the phone was excellent, the flowers were not. You will not get much for your money at Cameo. What a disappointment. read more

I walked into the shop five days before my father's funeral to order a large standing spray that was to be from me and my three sisters. When I got to the viewing right before the funeral I immediately looked for the flowers but they were nowhere to be found. I figured they were in the chapel. Nope. After the graveside was over I went across the street to find out what happened to my flowers and was told they had printer problems and the order didn't print until 20 minutes after the service started. I was given a refund and told the we're "sick" about it. You would think they would at least offer a bouquet or plant to make up for their failure to provide the essential service I needed but no. Totally unacceptable. I will never use this florist again. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I can't attach a photo of nothing. Our beloved father died and there were no flowers from his darling daughters. Don't trust this florist. read more

I was in a major rush to get bouquets to present at a business management conference and stopped at Patches of Iris and Violets first. The lady at the counter had no idea what she was doing or what was available (which happened to be exactly two arrangements that I had to find myself in their fridge) and then preceded to try and charge me for simply wrapping them in paper and placing them in a used shipping box. They were wholly unhelpful and disinterested in helping me so I left. I ran to Cameo Florist around the corner and as soon as I explained my situation I had three women stop everything they were doing and quickly get me what I needed and on my way. They saved the day! And the price was exactly what I expected to pay for a floral design. The absolutely get 5 stars only because 6 isn't an option. read more

Terrible! They apparently fired a girl who never put in the order for our WEDDING FLOWERS! I show up the day of right before our wedding shoot at the temple and they didn't believe me when I said I had an order. I was in my wedding dress and everything! They said they could make a quick fix and try to put something together. I paid $300 dollars and they gave me white roses and baby's breath. They only reimbursed me $50...... DO NOT HAVE THEM DO YOUR WEDDING THEYRE A JOKE AND THEY WILL MESS IT UP! GO TO BLOOMERS! read more

Very nice assortment of flowers and gifts....but prepare to pay out the nose for them. A very expensive florist.

I had a great experience with this florist, start to finish. Checked out their website for what I wanted, Britney was very helpful when I called and placed order for Mother's Day for my wonderful mother in law. They emailed me a confirmation after my order and then when the flowers were delivered. She loved them. Great experience. Very reasonably priced, will use them again! read more

I received flowers via delivery on Wednesday and they were dead by Friday. When I called I was told I could bring them in and they would replace the dead flowers from the arrangement. They are all dead. I have three young children and live in the next town over. Not helpful. It's ashame they charge so much for them to last 2 days. read more

I called to order a boutonniere for my daughter's High School Senior Ball. Over the phone they charged me over $12.00. A few days later I went to pick it up and I was astonished at what they gave me. It looked like they took a rose and attached it to a grape vine that someone had eaten all of the grapes off of! I have never seen anything like it. No baby's breath, and one tiny strip of ribbon. Knowing it was for Senior Ball I would have thought they would have put a little more effort into it. It was the most plane and really ugly boutonniere I have ever seen. I live in New York, wanted to send flowers to my mom in a St. George hospital so I ordered through the Teleflora network, which used Cameo. The arrangement I selected was absolutely nothing like the dumpy arrangement that arrived, and Cameo cheated me by using very few actual flowers and lots of filler. For example, the regular version pictured showed at least a dozen white roses, and their arrangement had five. I even paid EXTRA for the deluxe version! Also, the tulips they used were old and wide open with petals dropping off on day one. Horrible cheats who think you won't know just because you ordered from far away. read more

Word to the wise: I ordered an arrangement with at least 5 roses pictured, along with snapdragons, etc. It was described as: "A Pitcher of Petals Bask in a soothing bubble bath of luscious pink roses petals ...". I ordered an arranged ment from Justflowers.com. Cameo Florist was the local florist they used. This order was $49.99. I upgraded the order to $59.99, which the updrade is described as: "We'll add additional flowers that will coordinate with the arrangement in both style and color." I sent this arrangement to my mother and I had her send me a picture of it. It only had TWO roses in it! When I complained to Justflowers.com they said that the local florist they used admitted that there were only 2 roses in it but that the vase (which was different from the one pictured) was more expensive and it was based on volume and not stem count! I used to work for a florist shop and I'm not an idiot. ROSES at a florist shop are NOT hard to come by and you're not fooling anyone with longer snapdragons and all those extra leaves. NOT WHAT WAS PICTURED. I know that what was pictured wouldn't be exact, but C'mon, you could get the number of roses right (AND I UPGRADED). I think they could have corrected the order and sent out a replacement, but apparently Cameo florist refused basically saying that the order wasn't wrong and that it had been fulfilled. cameo florist is an amazing store. every time i go in they greet me right away, ask how im doing and help me to the best of there ability, even when i give them a hard order to fill. and they do it all with a bright smile on there face, and did i mention the amazing home made fudge (best i have ever had). i recommend them highly to anyone looking for a beautiful arrangement of flowers for any loved one read more
