I absolutely recommend Little Tesla Pediatric therapy to all families seeking therapy services for…read moretheir children. My son has been a part of LT for a full year now and truthfully this review is overdue because Little Tesla has exceeded my expectations from my first contact with the clinic when I first had general inquiries as I had to search for local therapies as soon as my son received his Autism diagnosis. I remember my sons psychiatrist gave me 3 pages full (front and back) of local clinics, and Little Tesla was the ONLY clinic that was thorough, and detailed as well as providing additional peace of mind as this was going to be my son's first exposure to an open social setting outside of home. All that to say my son now attends ABA 4x a week with included Speech & Occupational Therapy. At first we started with only Speech Occupational Therapy as there was just a small wait list to be established in their ABA program. We waited roughly under 3M as we joined in the summer time, and by August my son was already enrolled. I'd like to specifically highlight the care of the RBTs, my son and our family has had the pleasure of working with such as Nate, Dina, Naire, Anna, Marie, Jaz, Angelique, Amanda, and Kirstie. Gosh, I forgot the names of the few others we've worked with in passing, but they are all truly amazing individuals who have reassured me that they take great care of my son while supporting him fully during each session. I'd even go as far as saying that they have felt like an extension of family, as they've grown to really love my son too (it's hard not to since he's so bubbly) but for all of the RBTs you can tell they love what they do. In the full year my son has made AMAZING progress. I can confidently say my son's speech has improved, as well as both his social and behavioral development. Ms. Joyce I'd also like to give credit to as Emory's speech therapist, she has the most kindred spirit, and because of her my son can speak in fuller sentences now, identify himself, state his address etc. I could sit here singing their high praises for hours, but aside from the RBTs that work with my son everyday. The administrative staff, management, BCBAs and owners are all incredibly kind, and personable! Just to drop some names Aleema, Jasmine, Ashley, Andjela, Victoria, and Vesna. These ladies have now a special place in my heart because they all are so compassionate in their approach, never mind the clinic itself, with the recent expansion I was blown away to see how the new clinic goes above and beyond to provide even further support for daily living skills, behavioral, social needs and more! LT has become our home away from home and I leave my son here 4 days a week with full faith and trust in the entire staff here because they are truly amazing. Thank you thank you thank you.

Our son had just turned 2 and my wife was concerned with a couple behaviors he had been exhibiting. They were rather subtle, so I didn't pick up on anything. This was very much "mother's intuition." Even our pediatrician thought he was fine. We took him to see a child psychologist to be proactive (Dr. Danielle Sutton in Tampa was amazing), and after observation, she diagnosed him with ASD. It was difficult to hear, but we got him into therapy right away. He has been going to BCOTB since April 2015 and he absolutely loves it. He has worked with several therapists since then and they are all amazing, special people who we trust completely. In the past few years, it has been nothing short of remarkable to see his progress. When looking at the charts that quantify his progress, it shows him almost caught up to where he should be. But as his dad and interacting with him, I don't need to see charts to tell how much BCOTB has helped him. We feel absolutely blessed to have BCOTB in our lives. We actually took our son to see Dr. Sutton 6 months into therapy to see what she thought of his progress. She was ecstatic. She made a comment that I thought was worth sharing. After observing our son, she said (and I'm paraphrasing) "Whatever BCOTB is doing is working wonders. Unfortunately, many kids come in after going to an ABA clinic, and they just do 'pony tricks.' It's not really developmental progress or social skills and it gives ABA a bad name." And I wanted to say, as a dad/parent, don't be afraid. If you feel something is off with your child, no matter how slight, take your child to be evaluated. Don't be so afraid of a potential diagnosis that you don't get them the help they need. The sooner you intervene, the bigger the impact therapy can have. I have seen other parents "wait it out" and hope their child catches up, and it's heartbreaking. Every day counts. I hope you find this helpful.

Wow, if this is how this center's customer service is, then I don't even want to imagine how they would treat my special needs child! Very frustrating and negative first-impression of this place. Will be looking elsewhere.

Well, nothing "happened" but it's an overall observation on their operation as a whole. We dealt with one therapist at speak easy solutions and he was ok, scattered and unprepared, but in his defense the scheduling is absurd! Patients are scheduled every :30 minutes which obviously leaves no time to take notes on the session before you move on to another patient. No one remember that much specific information over the entire course of the day. It's not possible. I've had two of my children speech therapy over the last eight years, so I've been through the hoops more than once with this. Or as they say not my first rodeo! Speech evaluations in the past have taken anywhere from 1 to 3 hours to complete and required an additional 1 to 2 weeks for a report to be scored and generated. When I took my son to speak easy for his first visit the amount of time scheduled for the evaluation was 30 minutes... Yes 30 minutes. OK fine so maybe he had some insight from previous reports, but 30 minutes isn't much time to even establish a rapport with a kid. So, basically the place seems like a machine that just chews through therapists. Everyone looked pretty young that worked there and they all unquestionably looked completely worn down and overworked. We shall continue looking for a quality therapist. The scheduling is impossible to provide adequate care, especially when your co-pay is $40. I wouldn't send any of my friends there and we certainly won't return either.

They said they will call the new insurance company and let me know how much is cover. Fast forward two months later they didn't verify anything.
