Timing is everything... I have been traveling back and forth to my hometown more often in the past ten months than I have in the past ten years! Hubby is the boss where he works, but scheduled meetings with all of the out of town big wigs were slated for last week. We got an emergency call which needed our time and attention back home, so we made a deal, he said that he would go with me, if we drove round trip in one day. I agreed, as I really did not want to make this particular trip alone and said I will drive there ( four hours ) if you will drive home. In agreement again, while I drove in, using my car, he slept most of the way. We paid our respects to my brother and his family and were on our way to get a quick bite to eat, when hubby said, how long has that oil life low been reading? I said oh, it's been doing that, but I keep resetting it... He literally turned every color of the rainbow and said we have to find a mechanic now! Okay. Of course when you need a garage you will not find one and he was fuming ( calm down honey, it's okay, I hit the reset button ), when he pulled into the parking lot of this Ace Hardware, yay, maybe they can make him happy! He bought a bunch of motor oil and kept pouring it in, while I am saying, be careful not to get that on your white shirt or tie, lol, if looks could kill.. I thought that it was so nice of that boy who was going into work to walk clear across the parking lot and take that bag of empty oil bottles out of our hands, because It was NOT going in my car! read more

I am very disappointed in the way my losing my phone at my local Ace Hardware was handled. I lost my phone in the store, three employees saw my phone and set it where they set lost and found and somebody else walked out with my phone....... Now I am not sure how your legal team works but if a store and 3 associates have found my phone and it was in their possession, I would only have to assume from that point on the store would be held liable for the phone. The only thing I am asking is to be refunded the $100 I have spent on the phone in good honest true integrity. I might have been able to get passed this and go to Ace Hardware more but until the money is given back to me in which is owed, I will no longer shop at any of your stores a crossed the USA! I am very sad and see the true colors of this brand and store. Everything stated here is my opinion. read more

I am so glad we have a hardware store on this side of town. When doing a project I stop in often and always find what I need. Paint department is a plus and service is great. They do not have building supplies like lumbar, flooring, drywall ... but they have the necessities for most projects. Thanks Ace Team for working hard and providing good service! read more

BEWARE - The lack of customer service and professionalism at this location is astounding. Despite the lack of adequate staffing (even on weekends), I was a faithful Ace customer- using their coupons, getting the occasional "reward" in the mail. But this all changed when I needed their glass cutting 'service', and was essentially called a liar by the young manager on duty. Word to the wise - if you call to get a quote, MAKE SURE to get the name of the employee, or else, when the glass actually comes in and you show up, you will be charged some higher price, because it came from a 'full sheet' - AND YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT??! I thought it was the job of the employee trained at the services desk to know that, especially given the size of glass I needed. So that young manager has to embarrass himself and me by not honoring the price I was quoted the week before - where I could've gotten it a week earlier, and for less, from the local Cambria Glass & Insulation. No attempt to even price match or anything was ever suggested, because I "couldn't even remember who I talked to", supposedly making up this ellaborate scheme to save $6. Good thing I'm moving out of town and will never have to grace the doors of this store again. Ace's slogan "Ace, the helpful place" is entirely bogus. read more
