Employee who took our orders for Ductless HVAC installation, Flooring Installation, and Blind…read moreinstallation was amazing. Violet helped us schedule our remodels and needs and was exceptional. That is where the excellence stopped. Installation services were fragmented, lacked communication, outsources to local contractors and there was miscommunication between installation department and contractors. Flooring ordered so much extra we have boxes of additional flooring to probably do a bedroom. They also half-assed the job around baseboards with visible holes, missing pieces and gaps in the flooring that had to be redone later. I am not happy paying that much extra product. Blinds left behind a lot of trash and were far overpriced for what we were looking for. they left about 10 boxes in the basement with these long weird L shaped pieces. Ductless HVAC did a great job but overcharged by a mile. In total spent around 40k, and wasn't impressed with the level or quality of service beyond the intake. Intake was awesome, but she isn't responsible for the downstream handling of installations. We cancelled future projects because Lowes seems to cut corners with outsourced installation contractors.

I am very disappointed in the Johnstown store poor support, follow-up, and ability to deliver…read moreproducts. Great people are in store, but it appears their corporate office is either penny pinching or this store is on way to closing. 1st follow-up issue: planned and ordered new kitchen cabinets advised their designer we wanted farm house sink, was told would need on-site for installer and counter folks. Installers are not aware of it even though it's in the plans. I assumed counter folks install it. Counter folks could not measure until the sink was set (cut into cabinet). I had to call cabinet folks and pay another $500 for them to come back and do this. Countertop folks had to come out 2 more times to finally accept installation. I was billed an additional $350 for multiple trips So due to hd it cost me $850 more than the $27k I already paid plus time with no usable kitchen. Their office of the president did nothing, including no response. Most recently ordered new storm door to be delivered. They no longer have installers, so you're on your own for that. Anyway, the door arrives at the store. I got a call they only have a 18 wheel truck to deliver it. I was informed that corporate took their box truck because they are losing money on delivery (hmm a 18 wheeler is so much more efficient). I had them cancel the order they could not uphold what they contracted for, went to Lowes door, is cheaper, they can deliver, and they have Installers. Re-doing 2 bathrooms, will be using lowes and advising others as well

Husband likes this location as it is more convenient and has plenty of parking The store itself is clean and well organized. The employees have been much friendlier and more helpful than when this store first opened. (Hence, 4 stars). I'm not sure if staffing has changed or they have become more familiar with the store and the items they are selling. I picked up some painting supplies and work gloves at reasonable prices. Again, it's good to see this shopping center has a new business in this old location.

Let me be honest, I did not want to come here, but after striking out on many occasions at nearby…read morestores I caved and came here. I have avoided coming here for years, as a matter of fact, any location anywhere. I don't agree with some of their policies and it is their right to conduct their workplace how they will, just as it is my right to shop where I want. With that out of the way, let's talk about this experience. I had been looking for a specific item for the past few weeks. You know how you get an item in your head, you know it exists, but you just cannot find it anywhere you look. That was me recently. I knew what I wanted/needed, but could not for the life of me locate it anywhere. With my head hanging low, I entered this facility. Walking in here is like walking into a different world, craft world that is. This is like a mega store for crafting needs. I mean, how in the world are there that many crafting supplies that you need this big of a layout? Having never been in one of these before and not knowing where anything might be located I started wandering. And wander I did. My first line of attack was just to walk the center aisle and glance down every aisle as I passed. That did not work, this place is like a maze without a map. At one point I felt like I was Pac-Man chasing the ghosts, only the ghosts were associates that were working here. Each time I saw one they would run away like I had eaten the big pellet. So much for getting help here to ask where an item might be. My next line of attack, and this took forever, was to go up and down each and every aisle until I found my item. Did it work, yes, did it take forever, definitely, did I have any assistance, no. Having found my one item I ended up making a b-line to where I thought the front of the store was. I stood in line to wait my turn to pay and started noticing the Christianity closing in on me, that and the basic signs on the walls. The one and only time I had an interaction with an associate in here was at the cash register. It was as if the employee was brainwashed and on autopilot. No affect or personality. As soon as I got outside I had to light up a cigarette like I had just survived something dubious.

All I do is write down the amount of clamps that I get or the feet and how much it cost per foot. Then another customer came in and wanted a chain cut the lady who was helping me at the desk didn't know how to do it. So she asked me to do it. Then the guy who was sitting outside on a forklift, comes in and yells at me for doing it. if you don't want your customer to use it, put it around back. Also, I understand it has to deal with insurance purposes. I don't stay outside the entire time or train your other employees on how to use it. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I rebuild cars trucks, tractors side-by-side all kinds of stuff. You guys are always the place to go to. But now I will not be doing that. I will go to busy beaver where they don't give a crap if we use a tool.
