Timing is everything…read more.. I have been traveling back and forth to my hometown more often in the past ten months than I have in the past ten years! Hubby is the boss where he works, but scheduled meetings with all of the out of town big wigs were slated for last week. We got an emergency call which needed our time and attention back home, so we made a deal, he said that he would go with me, if we drove round trip in one day. I agreed, as I really did not want to make this particular trip alone and said I will drive there ( four hours ) if you will drive home. In agreement again, while I drove in, using my car, he slept most of the way. We paid our respects to my brother and his family and were on our way to get a quick bite to eat, when hubby said, how long has that oil life low been reading? I said oh, it's been doing that, but I keep resetting it... He literally turned every color of the rainbow and said we have to find a mechanic now! Okay. Of course when you need a garage you will not find one and he was fuming ( calm down honey, it's okay, I hit the reset button ), when he pulled into the parking lot of this Ace Hardware, yay, maybe they can make him happy! He bought a bunch of motor oil and kept pouring it in, while I am saying, be careful not to get that on your white shirt or tie, lol, if looks could kill.. I thought that it was so nice of that boy who was going into work to walk clear across the parking lot and take that bag of empty oil bottles out of our hands, because It was NOT going in my car!

Clearly management needs to water plants or get their staff to do it. I even say a couple elderly women complaining about all their dead plants. So what they are charging is absolutely crazy. With that said, this is why Americans are paying crazy prices for plants that only live for a few months.

The owner and staff members are friendly and helpful. They put on a great Christmas event for kids, bringing Santa in and letting the kids talk with him and get a photo. We love that this store is right down the road and we like to support locally owned businesses like Stanford.
