Their pricing was competitive with other quotes and the material and warranties they offer was superior to other suppliers. Jeff was great to work with and he made sure that I had all the necessary fasteners and trim to complete my project. I will be looking to build a small garage/workshop next summer and look forward to working with Kemmco on designing a building that will fit our needs. Tim

Dollar General stores are popping up everywhere, and I mean everywhere. They are very aggressive…read morewith their expansion. Not only are they popping up in areas that are well established as shopping meccas, but they are popping up in areas where there is nothing else around. This particular DG is one of those that popped up in the middle of nowhere. There is literally nothing else around, maybe a few residential homes, but nothing. What this one does have in its favor is that it is right off the highway. You exit and it is there. This can be viewed as a good thing. Especially if you are in need of a single item, you can come here and get it and head on your way. I honestly had no idea this was here until recently. I was just out and about, driving roads I had never been on and ended up here. I came in, walked about, grabbed a few things. I noticed that this location was one of the more organized locations out there. I did not notice any carts with product spread throughout. Also the employees were very friendly. They seemed to know a lot of the customers walking through the doors. I will say, this is probably a welcomed addition to the area.

An employee comes out of the office claiming he can't help me because he is on break. He was smoking outside when I pulled up so clearly he already had his break! I asked him why the self checkout does not honor the discounts. He doesn't know, however the manager apparently knows about it and has not addressed the problem. I left because evidently none of the employees were actually working.

And you know what, that's what this guy did here. He put all his eggs into batteries and he knows his stuff. First, let me tell you about this place. I had no idea it was an actual business. I had driven past it many times and just thought that it was either something from a bygone era or a storage facility for some other company that dealt with batteries. I had no clue this was an actual place to buy batteries of all sorts. You may think that this looks like a garage from the outside, and you would be right and for good reason. When I say he deals with nothing but batteries, I mean all types of batteries. That includes vehicle batteries and I believe they are installed in house. I walked in after my search for a battery elsewhere did not pan out. I told the gentleman what I needed. He grabbed one and I asked if this would be the same as the one the appliance I needed it for. Just to be sure he did a quick look up on his computer to make sure the two were interchangeable. He went the extra mile to put me at ease, that's how you get customer's, treat them well and they will return and tell other people about the place. I went home and replaced the batteries that were dead for so long and it was nice to have the one appliance back up and running. Be careful of the parking lot and do not park in front of the garage door.

Pretty good when you need a last minute item in this area and dread the fact that the only other place you could stop is Wal Mart. Given the late hours, this place is usually busy. The only other thing nearby is a bank, asides from the cows that is. Located right off the highway makes it an easy place to find.

Prior to that anytime someone walked in or out of the building you'd often be hit with a gust of wind, depending on the weather. This was particularly unpleasant in the colder months for both the customer and employees. The improvements aside, when I went to check out today I found the employee at the check out to be incredibly rude. She had the phone up to her ear and was on what seemed to be a personal phone call. Never once during this time did she greet me or say anything besides have a nice day after I had already paid. Usually employees have a friendly greeting and will tell you what your total is. I realize I could just look at the register display to see the total, but the point is that I didn't feel acknowledged at all. This isn't a reflection of every employee there, but is something that reflects poorly upon their value of the customer.
