We recently used Camargo Painting to take care of three things in our home:
1) we wanted the crack on the wall and ceiling to be patched and painted.
2) removed the old grout on the bathroom shower and bathtub and re-grouted it.
3) replace the dryer vent hose connecting the dryer exhaust to the house exterior vent.
Manny and his crew showed up a little after 8:30 in the morning. He told me what he had planned and he went about getting the work done. He took care to not get paint on our furniture and hardwood floors. He covered the furniture with plastic sheet and moved it out of the way. He removed the hanging drape covering the window by the wall where the crack was. He used painter's drop cloth to cover the hardwood floors and hallways where he painted.
He was able to match the color of the paint at the paint store using paint chips he got from prepping the crack areas. His workmanship is excellent. The work is so professionally done you cannot tell the cracked area had been filled and painted over!
We had two bathrooms that needed re-grouting; one with a shower, the other with a bathtub. Manny worked methodically to remove the old grout, spray the affected areas with bleach to prevent any mold build-up, then let the area dry for overnight before re-grouting the affected areas. After watching him work, I could tell this guy does not cut corners. He told me he does the job the right way on the first pass, because he doesn't want to come back to re-do it!
The last item was to replace the dryer vent hose that had been in use for over eight years. I know how dusty that hose was because a year ago, I tried to remove the lint and dust buildup at the exterior vent and wasn't able to. Manny and his crew replaced the old hose with a new hose. They carefully routed the new hose from the laundry room, though the adjoining garage to the house external vent; all the while moving stuff out of the way and then putting it back. Manny really surprised me by vacuuming all the lint and dust debris around the external vent without me having to ask him. This is an example of going the extra mile to gain customer satisfaction.
Manny had planned the job at my home to take three days, but his crew worked so efficiently they were done in two. Manny and crew only took a lunch break. They left my home in good condition; no paint on the hardwood floor or furniture. I found no paint splatter on the ceiling, the walls, or windows. Btw, they re-hung the drape on the window. The trash they created from their work, they removed or disposed of properly.
Two days later, Manny is back to fix a customer's "unfavorable" comment. While doing the main work, he also agreed to remove some "scuff marks" on the walls--as a way of building customer satisfaction. This one area of wall looked "blotchy" after the "scuff marks" were removed. To make it right, he re-painted the whole wall. Any other contractor would have walked away. Frankly, I was surprised he went that extra mile to gained our approval. This is a no nonsense guy!
I didn't know of Manny and his company before this engagement; I learned of Manny's company from a friend. But after he completed the work on our home, I am really satisfied with the quality of his work. I would definitely hire his company again! read more
