I just dashed it. I got a Santa Cruz and a Make Your Own. Both of them are delicious. Ample fillings and I really like the crust. Not a calzone crust I'm used to, which is basically a folded over sealed pizza, but a "lattice" crust on the top which makes it crispy and allows one to enjoy the combination of the crust and the filling without one dominating the other. I'm giving it 5 stars because it exceeded my expectations. read more

We have been meaning to try this place for a while. Finally did last night - I had the Golden Gate I think it was called - too much sauce, not enough cheese. We also got the garlic stuffed bread and there was way too much garlic sauce and it was very strong. My son got the Palm Springs and liked it except said that there was too much bacon. My daughter built her own and hers looked the best. All the sauces were too strong and overpowering. We picked them up and the employees seemed confused. They did not know where our order was. It was on the counter. Probably not going back. I make better calzones at home. read more

Here is my two cents on the food and a little bit of chatter... whoever came up with calzone. He and took it to the next level took a big risk, but they have succeeded.... I did my own Calzone adding mushrooms and black olives to it .. I'd arrive still hot, and the crust was a golden brown as you can see in the photograph... If you're looking to have a calzone it instead of going to another pizza place, I suggest you check these people out .. the price on the side seems very reasonable.. Two things I would suggest, though that they give you a deeper dish of the red sauce and they would provide some red pepper flakes... The calzone it was very tasty even without having the dipping sauce, the crust was very light and flaky .. I also got a green salad with seem to be plenty big to feed your little tummy .. It arrived in a timely matter while using Grubhub as my delivery service . So once again you really need to try this place out if you're looking something different and you want a calzone .. read more

Very happy with my calzone - nearly big enough for 2 depending on how hungry you are. Maybe a little salty overall. The salad should be taken off the menu though. It was a very expensive bowl of iceberg with a couple of veggies on top - maybe worth half of the $8 price tag. Also not impressed with the Ken's dressing and Fresh Gourmet packaged croutons. Ordered from Grubhub for the first time tonight-- Golden Gate and Giant gooey cookie. The calzone was soooooo good. The texture of the outside was just right and the inside was seasoned perfectly. What a huge disappointment. When they first opened they were terrific. A wonderful crunchy crust with mozzarella cheese and meat oozing out. Just packed full of goodness. What I got today was more like reheated Dominoes. Soggy crust, hardly any cheese and the most meager offering of pepperoni, salami and sausage I've ever gotten from any pizza/calzone joint. What I received was 80 percent soggy dough. And, to top it off, I ordered it with marinara sauce as my side and they sent ranch, which I hate, just as one last middle finger to show they no longer care. What a shame. Our Amazon management team ordered from here often. I would choose to make my own calzone. I only wish we were able to apply more toppings into our calzones or were given more options of toppings to choose from. Otherwise, we all thought this place was delicious. The portions were big.
