Boy were we impressed with the friendly and kind attentive service and the food. Some of their specials are pricey but very good. I had veal Marsala for $25.00 and it was the best veal Marsala I've ever had. I'm 69 now and was first introduced to veal Marsala when I was 3 years old in 1960 by my Sicilian Grandmother Maria (b 1903 Palermo, immigrated to Chicago 1910). I've been seeking out veal Marsala ever since wherever I've lived or traveled and Granos is the best. Thank you Granos team. Roger Lauricella, Arcadia.

I was celebrating my birthday with two of my favorite people and every bite of food was excellent. We ordered the lasagna, genovese, and a vegetarian butter and sage pasta. Being a huge meat lover, I did not expect the vegetarian dish to TASTE SO GOOD! But that was a banger! All the cocktail drinks we ordered too was dangerously delicious. You can barely taste the alcohol. We got to chat with the chef and learn more about his story and you can tell he cooked every dish with love. Our server Claude was incredible too and answered all our questions about dishes he recommended. I can't wait to come back!

He always makes us laugh and smile and improves the entire experience. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does as a chef and puts his whole heart and soul into each dish. Jesse also is quick to answer any questions we have regarding the food, especially with how to reheat certain dishes at home later. The staff at Uovo is incredible and you can tell they want you to have the best experience. The environment has always been welcoming and kind. Further, the staff is extremely accommodating with any and all allergies/food restrictions. My mom is vegan and I'm vegetarian, and that has never been an issue at all. We've never left feeling bloated or sick once. If there is a long wait during the rush hours, their staff upfront is prompt and alerts you immediately when your table/seat at the bar is ready. Oftentimes, the wait they tell us is usually longer than what we end up actually waiting, so they're all very efficient.

The pasta was amazing, but what really stood out was how much thought went into each dish and how fun it was to try a variety of things we probably wouldn't have ordered on our own. A huge shoutout to Julianna, who took such great care of us all evening. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable without ever making us feel rushed. Her wine recommendations were spot on and paired perfectly with the food. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does and wants guests to have a great experience. I didn't even think to take pictures because I was too busy enjoying the meal, which probably says a lot! Between the food, the wine, and Julianna's wonderful service, it ended up being one of my favorite dining experiences in Pasadena. Can't wait to come back.

Food 4/5 Pork Meatballs $21 - Best meatballs I've ever had. Full of flavor but a little too salty. Local Wild Mushrooms $24 - Standard, nothing too special. Beets $18 - Refreshing, to the point. Caramelle $27 - My favorite of all the pastas but expensive for very little pieces of pasta and a meatless dish. Full of flavor, lots of oil. Rigatoni Timballo $32 - Delicious, standard. Duck Confit Rotolo $31 - My personal dish which turned out to be my least favorite. Meatballs and Caramelle were my top favorite, secondary is the are the beets. Prices are not unexpected for the area but are pretty high for what is really given to you. Service 3/5 We sat outside and they were pretty slow to bring water and take our orders. Ambiance 3/5 It was a really lovely time to eat outside but the lights were broken and it was SO dark, there were no added lights to the table. It was impossible to read the menu.

I started with an incredible appetizer featuring several varieties of fried mushrooms paired with red wine--absolutely delicious and full of flavor. For my entrée, I enjoyed the shrimp pasta with white wine sauce, which was perfectly prepared and tasted authentic and fresh. To finish the meal, I had the apple crust dessert topped with vanilla ice cream, and it was the perfect ending to an outstanding dinner. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Honestly, for a moment I felt like I was sitting in a restaurant in Italy. I highly recommend Pane E Vino and will definitely be returning. Five stars all the way!

Well, okay. We were there and we were hungry. It's a small place with big attitude. Great vibes, low lighting, cozy seating. We sat down and browsed through the menu. The server came over and said he'd move us to a bigger table. THANK YOU! We finally decided on food. We all had crab cakes appetizers. I had the spicy honey pepperoni pizza and Cesar salad. Coworker had the peso buco with risotto, and the other had the lasagna. We had some fresh rosemary rolls while we waited. Everyone was very satisfied with their food. The girls decided to have desert which we all shared. Tiramisu and cannolis. I don't care for tiramisu so I just had a little taste. I did enjoy a cannoli. The server was super friendly and he knew how to sell you on anything on that menu. I would make the drive to visit here again.

We ordered the Chicken Alfredo, Chipotle Chicken Pasta, pizza, and salad, and every single dish was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and the Chicken Alfredo was the standout. The sauce was incredibly rich, creamy, and full of flavor--honestly, I enjoyed it even more than Olive Garden's Alfredo! The atmosphere was another pleasant surprise. While the outside of the restaurant may not immediately catch your attention, don't let that fool you. The inside is beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of charm. It's a smaller restaurant, which made it feel welcoming and comfortable. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. We also loved watching the soccer game on the big screen while enjoying our meal. My only suggestion would be to give a little more attention to the restrooms. They could be cleaned more frequently, and making sure hand soap is always stocked would really enhance the overall experience. Overall, the amazing food, welcoming service, cozy atmosphere, and great portions make this restaurant an easy recommendation. We'll definitely be making the trip back to La Puente again!

Dear yelp friends:…read more Please read my previous reviews and you'll get the skinny on Aldolinos. The food, ambiance, and service have been consistent over the last dozen years or so I've been frequenting. Although they don't have a Sunday brunch anymore, the full bar is amazing and gives the restaurant a refined, sophisticated, quality. While some Italian restaurants are as cheesy as garlic bread, Aldolinos is classy, not trashy. In the corner of the Oak Tree shopping center, you might not think to stop by, but that would be a mistake. Daily specials; happy hour appetizers & libations; consistent food and service make this an easy choice for me in the Azusa area. I have a secret, but it's just between you and me: They have a party trailer to take to events (I'm going to hire them for my next 40th birthday party)!

I like the dividers that give you a bit of privacy and cut down on conversational noise from other tables. The first thing we notice and LOVED was the old school mellow Italian standards they were playing. Yes! Very relaxing and set the mood. We would have sat in the bar, but there was a large group scheduled in there, so we sat in the dining room. Next time we'll try the bar room. The things that stood out were their delicious, rich sauces. The flavors were spot on. They cook their pasta perfect to my family's taste, with a bite (al dente), but done enough that it's not chewy or floury. Fair prices. And yummy desserts. We really enjoyed the tasty Crab Cake app. We all liked our pasta, particularly me, who had the Mushroom Ravioli with the same sauce that comes on the Beef and Mushroom Ravioli. I think there was a Mushroom Ravioli special with a different sauce, but they did it with the sauce I really wanted to try, which was much appreciated! We enjoyed the Spumoni pie--Spumoni ice cream with a graham cracker(?) pie crust. They also made us a traditional Affogato, because that's what my dad likes. But I want to try their version next time. I'm really excited to go back and try their pizza. We'll get one with sausage, since the sausage on my dad's pasta was really outstanding. I also want to try their Caesar Salad. Looking forward to my next visit!
