Between my long commute to work, workout schedule and other daily needs, sometimes it's just super nice and convenient to have a meal ready to eat that's loaded with the essential macros I need. I order about every other week and so far I've been very pleased with the taste, amount of food and the spectacular presentation. What I recommend (so far): Chimichurri Steak was by far one of my favorites. That Chimichurri sauce was so perfect. The beef was perfectly cooked and I could even taste the grilled flavor in the meat. Breakfast Pizza with light marinara, scrambled eggs, sausage and pepperoni totally hit the spot!! I'm a huge pizza fan and this was perfection in the morning. I air-fried 2 pieces each morning and savored every bite. Steak & Eggs was delicious. Bibimbap was fantastic!! The sauce was excellent and mildly spicy. I added extra sriracha and tamari sauce. I still have a Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese to try but how can you go wrong with that?! I was given the option to receive a credit toward the following week's order or a full refund. I replied that same day requesting a full refund. I followed up on Tuesday, July 7, and was told that refunds typically take three to five business days. By July 13, I still had not received the refund, so I reached out again but received no response. I followed up once more on July 14 and again received no response or refund. This is especially disappointing because I had been ordering meal-prep meals from them on and off for more than a year. I understand that unexpected problems happen, but a business should communicate with its customers and promptly issue refunds when promised.

The food feels fresh and wholesome in my body! I will say that the meals vary in size. We opted for the low carbohydrate 4 oz meal plan option so naturally, the meals are rather light. Some meals are a bit on the smaller side and I get hungry again in 90 minutes or so while some meals are larger and I am unable to eat it in one sitting. I do think some of the meals are lacking in salt/seasoning, but I just shake a little bit of "Everything but the Bagel Seasoning" from Trader Joe's and it does the job! The meals I enjoy most are the meals that include a sauce or meals with flavors that I know I enjoy. I do find that the meals that are simply a protein (ex: chicken) and a side of vegetables with no sauce are almost always dry. Overall, I highly recommend this service! The meals were always very fresh, perfectly cooked, good combinations, healthy portions and very flavorful without too much sodium or fat. Delicious balanced meals with reasonable calories. They ensure their meals heat well in the microwave so foods are not overcooked (a common problem with other services). Their salmon & shrimp dishes always heated perfectly, their breakfasts are amazing as are the low carb cookies. My husband, who hates veggies as a rule, and often complained that there were too many veggies (there were not), is now complaining we are not getting nearly enough fresh veggies in the services we have tried. Converting my husband to a veggie eater is quite an accomplishment. We are not finding anything here in SD that comes close. So many meal prep services with enormous hype and marketing, and terrible food. Huge menus, but only a few dishes with reasonable calories. 1100 calorie breakfasts? Really?
