This new location in Gurnee is very large, clean and has plenty of mirrors and sitting areas. They also have a nicely organized area for discounted shoes. The store employees were actively keeping the place tidy, and were friendly at check out. I'm really glad they opened up this location. I'll be back.

Pretty disappointing experience. Rude employees. I bought what I needed, but will not be shopping…read morehere again. I very kindly asked if coupons can get piled, while showing them a sign that fell off to the ground. I did not mention it was a coupon at all but the girl at the register answered rudely that what I was holding was not a coupon... which I never said it was. Anyway, and older woman next to her quickly jumped on as well and basically yelled at my boyfriend and I saying, "THAT IS NOT A COUPON." Again not even letting us speak, she just kept saying how we stole their sign and mumbling stuff under her breath. I was asking if I can pile the 20% discount on the wall and the discounts already applied at checkout. My mistake was saying "coupon" instead of "discounts" but they never let me explain. Just rude. If they are so miserable at their jobs, maybe they shouldnt work here, but dont take it out on customers.

We went on a Sunday afternoon with an appt at 1pm. The only hiccup was they would not find our…read morereservation in their system although we received an confirmation email regarding our appointment. But since they were not very busy, we were helped by the formal wear manager, Dave. He was very friendly, easy going and fun to work with. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get fitted. He gave us suggestions and what styles would work with what. We went with the Vera Wang Tux for the wedding. The slim fit fitted well on my Fiance. Since my bridesmaids color is Tiffany Blue, the Gray went perfectly with the color (for the groomsmen). Depending on the designer and add ons, ours came out to be about $200ish for 1 tux rental. The whole process took about 30mins since i already have a few tux styles picked out for him to try. Before you leave, they require a $40 deposit (groom only) to secure the date and rentals with everyone. Each groomsmen will have to pay a $20 deposit. I will update this again once the wedding is over!

I've been shopping at Men's Wearhouse for 40 years and spend a significant amount on suits and…read moremen's clothing. The fitting experience for the suits I rented for my son and myself for my eldest son's wedding on September 12th was fantastic--professional, friendly, and exactly what I expect from Men's Wearhouse. The return experience at the Gurnee store, however, was the opposite. I was never told about the strict 24‑hour return policy when placing my order. Because the wedding was in Naperville and Being from the Lake County area the distance is significant and we had family events the next day, I would have returned the suits in that area had I known. When I returned the suits on Monday, September 14th, the associate was rude from the start. Before even checking the bags, he warned me he'd "have to charge me" if anything was missing. He then mentioned daily late fees and, when I explained the situation, responded with, "Well you should have returned them where you were at." That's not acceptable customer service. I'm always willing to pay fees when expectations are clearly communicated--but they weren't. After four decades as a loyal customer, this experience was disappointing and not reflective of the brand I've trusted for so long. I will make sure in the future that I take my business to Vernon Hills Store or to a competitor as this experience has made me question the level of customer service with Men's Warehouse from a Brand perspective.
