Very excited to have finally gotten a chance to come to this plus size vintage resale shop in Logan…read moreSquare! A note if you're coming by car from afar: a lot of the surrounding streets are permit parking. We were taking our car all over town today, so we just had to deal with the vehicular burden, and we did finally find a spot not too far away, but if I was just going to come for shopping in this neighborhood in the future, I would park in Rosemont and take the Blue Line in. But back to the store: lots of fun and stylish pieces to be found here! I tried a few dresses and skirts on and really loved one dress, which was adorable! Items were organized by genre (tops, skirts, dresses etc); don't be afraid to try something that you might think is too big or too small based on the number/size because as we all know women's sizing is wildly inconsistent. Staff was very friendly and helped me out with the dressing room (it can be hard to wrangle all your items with a cane and then one arm left to carry it all, so I appreciate that). A bit more expensive than some resale shops, but if you are looking for a nicely curated vintage shopping experience (i.e. I didn't see any Shein etc) this was worth the visit!

I also really, really love that they measure everything and then mark it with their size system for consistency! It's nice to be able to find plus sized clothes, and I'm grateful for such a space. I'm glad I visited while in Chicago!

After 2 more visits I have to update my review…read more Service: owner is very nice, she said hello and expressed that if I had any questions she will be there for me. The last time I came she was just just chit chatting with an employee so I'm not sure if that was typical. But on this visit she was very accommodating. Selection: nothing much changed in this category. They've got just an ok array of items... but I did learn that she sells online as well so that explains how she's still in business. Maybe sells the good stuff online and whatever's left she sells in the store, which is a good business model. I guess.... Value: I'd say just find their website and buy from there. Cause the stuff in the store is nothing to travel over for. Items in the store are nothing interesting.

I asked the woman behind the counter if I could bring some of my clothing in for consignment. She was very snippy and told me she was "done for the day" this was 4pm. She said I should come back at 10am another day. She had some hair clips on the counter--I was looking for a certain one. I opened the clip and it fell apart in my hand! She watched me open the clip and saw it fall apart. Very discussed she took the clip and did something on her computer/register and threw it away. I looked around and found a Tommy Hilfiger sweater coat. I liked it but didn't want to purchase it because this woman was so rude. I bought it anyway. I will never come back to this store or recommend it to anyone else. This store is nothing special and certainly not worth your time. Instead go north a few miles to Rochester. The New To You consignment shop is wonderful and the women that work there helpful and very friendly. They take your clothing at any time of day and will either donate or give you any clothing they do not want. The shop has been in this location a long time and very organized.

I love writing glowing five star reviews. Even more so when it's for a fantastic place that…read moresupports amazing causes. I went into Annie's Resale for the World yesterday not knowing anything more than they were a resale shop. It turns out that their profits go to several charities around the globe educating children, providing food, shelter and emergency relief to families, and strengthening local churches and community programs. A section in the shop is dedicated to photos, books & explanations of the various causes they are supporting. I walked in and Annie greeted me instantly. She was so warm & kind to me and everyone that came through. One gentlemen came in wanting to do consignment and although they don't do that, she was so helpful to him in directing him to another spot. She let me pick a coupon out of a bowl and I got 20% off my order, plus she gave me a 10% off for my next visit. I heard her explain the shop's mission to several people, including myself. They've been open just 10 months and she said the community has been great with supporting them and giving donations. She didn't realize what hard work it is to run a retail store...but I'm sure it more than pays off in the end! I must say they have some great merchandise and it's SO well priced. The selection was very well organized, very clean, tons of brand new items and the prices are just fantastic. I saw a ton of cute earrings for $2 including many new pairs. I found a really cute fall dress for $13 that is in new condition. She was telling me that the donator brought in 6 of the exact same dress and this was the last one - Score! Baby clothes were just $1 each. Their dressing rooms are much nicer than any I've seen in any retail store, let alone a thrift shop. Beautiful curtains on the doors and nice seats inside, beautiful mirrors and decor. I was shocked when I went in to try on my dress! Anyone going to this small shop can be confident they are getting a great price, clean & well worth it merchandise and you should feel warm & fuzzy inside knowing you've helped in some tiny way. Annie's Resale for the World is just across the street from me so I see myself popping in here quite a bit! You can also volunteer here a few hours each week!

You can't tell much from the outside, but inside, you discover the heart of this organization. Yelp needs to know about this place!! This is not Goodwill. It's not a large store filled with tons of kitschy and mediocre clothes. Nothing is broken. There are no holes. There are no disinterested employees. It is small. It is cute. It is a little pricier than typical resale stores. It is hit or miss. But it is amazing. The clothes are high-quality. Books and media are in great shape. The jewelry is exquisite. The staff is so friendly and attentive. And they have dressing rooms! Beautiful dressing rooms with cute curtains and little lamps. And purple! Lots of purple. The thing that really sets this place apart from other resale shops are the partners -- people on missions all over the world. When the items within the shop are sold, the proceeds are donated to different partners across the globe: leaders that are educating children, providing food, shelter, and relief to families, and strengthening local churches and community programs. So if you really want to give back to the community, I mean REALLY give back -- to the world, consider stopping here for some of your purchases or donations.

First off Id like to premise this by saying I have been coming up to the Fontana/Lake Geneva area…read moresince I was a kid and now that I have my own am so grateful to be able to do the same. This being my kids first trip up here we decided to grab pizza. I was playing and dancing to the live music with MY 1 YEAR OLD daughter. I was rudely and obtusely interrupted by a villainous voice Telling me to "take the baby and go back to the pizza place" (twice). First of all you may have private parking signs but however no private property signs that are clearly visiblE. I am not from Wisconsin but well versed in law. Per Wisconsin law there is nothing stating in the statutes for pedestrians or private property of the like that prohibits pedestrians from walking through a parking lot. Also at the time there was a Fontana Police Officer that was sitting not 50 yards from us in plain sight. Please next time you decide to try to "flex" whatever privilege you think you have and think twice from insulting a 1 year old and her father. This has significantly changed my thoughts of this place and thank you for being the voice and representative of this community and single handedly ruining it. I urge no one to attend or do any business with this business. Remember a sharp tongue is no indication of a keen mind.
