The renovation began in January 2024, Adam had a HUGE task saving my old house and not only did he take this on and deliver and exceptional end product, he was most gracious, understanding and flexible when many "surprises" came our way. MANY! I took on the finishing work to try and save money - in the end, it didn't save me anything so when they say let the professionals do the work, listen to them, they know best. In the end, he was professional, knowledgeable, patient and smart. He knows what he is doing. He saved a house that was falling down and allowed me to sell it and feel 100% good about the project. I truly appreciated him then and now. He did an amazing job, talked me off the ledge a number of times and worked with me. He worked with me and we got it done. I am forever grateful. Charged me $40 for an estimate, which I thought was excessive, but I went along with it. He gave me a reasonable estimate and I hired him. He told me that the job would take about 3 days, which I also thought was a bit long based on my experience with stone masons but, again, I went along with it. To make a long story short, after he started the wall, he revised the estimate upwards twice, and two months went by before the job was finished. About half way thru the job, I noticed that the wall was not level. He fixed it, but didn't offer any explanation for why his line wasn't level. After two months worth of aggravation, I ended up paying about 70% over the original estimate, and was left with a sloppy looking wall. A complete amateur job.
