An employee immediately came out to greet us and directed us to the self-service car wash area. The signage was adequate, clear, and legible. There were two employees inside the garage, one who instructed us on payment ($20 for the most expensive wash, which is what we chose). They take credit cards. No one was wearing a mask but we were inside the car so it didn't bother us. Great, shiny results! I would come back. Easy detour from I-68. Stop on in!

I don't mind not receiving the presoak, so I opted in for the $20 deal for the other two vehicles. We go at least once a week while out running errands. Sometimes the wash is packed, and sometimes we get right in. Either way, our car is always clean when we leave. And, while I appreciate the free vacuum upgrade, I do wish they'd have them checked more frequently for suction. There just doesn't seem to be enough power to do a really good job on the interior. But, I still use the air and the cleaner for the hard surfaces. Both function properly at all times for me. Personally, I'll keep using this place. It's a good value for the wash. I change my own oil, and detail my own interior, so I don't require those other services. The employees we've spoken to have all been very friendly, and quite willing to help with any known issues. 5 stars, for sure.

I get it, but at the end of the entire cycle, when I'm prompted to exit, I have to step on the brake in order to shift from neutral to drive. Often, there have been cars being cycled through which were just a few feet from my rear bumper. ALSO, there wasn't a lot of thought that went into their website and it shows. For example, if you have an issue, i.e., canceling a membership, an inquiry, etc., then you must call their corporate headquarters in Ohio, instead of the local branch. Just creates headaches, especially when they're gone for the weekend. Too bad because, like I said, their car washes are actually very good.

I decided to get out of the house and take a drive. No real destination in my head, just get on…read morethe road and see where I go. I ended up in the Deep Creek area and was enjoying the scenery. Of course I needed to refuel on many levels, I started out for a gas station/convenience store. And with me, you know I needed to see if my favorite one was in the area. Of course there was, and of course I beat feet until I arrived here. It's a newer looking Sheetz, but on a small footprint. It feels pared down, but it also feels as if it fits in perfectly for the area. It is constantly busy, there was a steady flow of people here, it was hard to find a place to park let alone a pump to get gas. What complicates this area a little more is that there is a car wash right behind the Sheetz. As far as I can tell, it is not owned by Sheetz. In order to access the car wash you need to drive through the Sheetz parking lot. On top of that, when everyone wants a car wash I am sure this is probably a horrible place to be. Inside I made my rounds. Used the facilities, super clean. Browsed the shelves for a snack, they were aplenty. Grabbed a drink from the cooler, make sure to pay attention to pricing, sometimes there are deals. Made my way to pay and this was one of the most pleasant interactions I had all day. The lady behind the counter was so chipper and greeted everyone as if she knew every single person that walked in here.
