My only one real frustration is that the three times I have visited this location, I have been…read morealways been shorted by anywhere from 80 cents to a $1.10. I know people can make a mistake in counting empties, myself or the depot employee. And I can't find anywhere information relating to variance in error and what is acceptable and what isn't. I know this doesn't sound like a lot of money, but multiply that by the number of monthly transactions. Throw in the donations as well for the charity they support and I wonder about the transparency, mo itoring and control that either exists or doesn't exist! I bet if AGLC was in charge of regulations and procedures of bottle depots there would be way more stringent counting and perhaps use of counting tech to ensure no one is shorted either the operator nor the the indidual seeking reimbursement. Also makes me wonder about how many street or poorer individuals that might being shorted!

It shows that the bottles are going through but it miscounts and then your return is a lot less. Just be cautious because unless you don't count all your bottles then the business is profitting from this misuse of the machines. COUNT YOUR BOTTLES, before heading through the door. I have been to this bottle depot a few times now and have been very happy with it. It usually…read morehasn't been very busy and even when there was a line-up one time it moved very quickly because they opened 4 or 5 lanes. The auto-sorter also makes the process go very quickly and I think very accurately. You get a tap card when they are done and then you go to an ATM type machine to get your cash. It gives you the option to tip the staff which is nice. The parking lot isn't huge but has always been ample for the number of people that have been there. I think there is another bottle depot in town so I will have to use that one next and then update this review with which one I like better.

It was exactly what the Alberta depot website had estimated. We've never had such a smooth refund process. Be warned, it might get busy with the wait times in the summer, as there are only two windows, and they are drive up. I liked the drive up process, as it's handy not having to empty out the car; super for large orders, or when you have kiddos with you. It's a smaller depot, but I liked it. The one we usually go to has been skimming us, so this will be our go to from now on.

Better than taking your stuff to the dump!…read more The Eco Station is GREAT for taking recycling your electronics, paints (they have a free pick up program), scrap metal (think trampoline or swing set), and large household furniture that is broken. At times the line up can be quite long so you're better off going during the middle of the day. Fees are quite reasonable for disposal here and some items are free to leave here like electronics.
