We had a very poor experience with 310-DUMP. They created significant damage to the driveway and their only response was " we have customers review and sign a waiver which also states the potential for damage when using our services" Their response was "I hope that despite what occurred you will consider us in the future" - Not a chance. He was alone and loaded al the stuff into his truck with minimal effort. I would definitely recommend this company to others. We needed a bin during our basement development project. We went with 310-DUMP because we had used them before and they provided great service and the price ended up being lower than other companies. Once again great service! They dropped the bin off when we needed it and were here promptly when we called to have it emptied. Very unprofessional mover!!!! Never seen any mover who needs to turn appliance upside down to turn over corner on stairs to main floor. They were aware of water in the freezer and still had to turn freezer over to move around corner. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!! read more

Terrible company do not use them! They sent us pictures of someone else's driveway and said they couldn't dump our dumpster. And then still didn't come dump our dumpster. So for 2 months we had a full dumpster. Then things went smooth for the next couple months and again they just didn't come dump it. We called repeatedly to get it taken care of but nothing was done. We called another company for a dumpster who has been great I might add (super save) and told 310 dump to get their bin out of our yard and they wouldn't! They wouldn't come dump it and they wouldn't come get it for over a month!!! When they finally did come they gave us a ridiculous bill WICH WE PAID and then they made up other charges and put it to collections but we have the emails showing we paid what we were supposed to! Now we are going to the better business bureau and getting our lawyer involved.. All I'm trying to say here is do not use this pathetic unprofessional company! For my last home renovation project, I simply hauled all the junk and demolition debris outside and piled it up in my back yard. I called 310 DUMP and they were there the very next day. They gave me a quote on-site before starting any work. The price was awesome and they loaded all the junk themselves - I didn't have to touch a thing. There were no hidden fees or charges. Their employees were friendly, well-dressed and seemed well trained and knowledgeable. They checked over my backyard when they were finished loading to make sure nothing was missed and my lawn was free of tiny debris. I like to read reviews on businesses before I hire them, and was skeptical after finding some negative reviews on 310 DUMP. However, I had a coupon and booked them anyways based on price alone. After speaking with them and watching them work, I can say that this company is worthy of a 5-star review and you can't go wrong. I usually don't leave reviews but i have been very satisfied with them. I've had poor services from dump companies so i wasn't expecting more from them, but they were different. Did a great job and made sure everywhere was clean. The only issue i have with is their pricing. They are a bit more expensive than the other companies but you'll get a quality service. read more

At this point i think i have used just about every bloody junk removal company in the city. I prefer to take my junk to the dump if it's a truckload because it's just easier and way cheaper. You can get some cheap guys on kijiji to do a run for you but they can sometimes be a little shady. Junk removal companies have to pay transport fees and environmental charges that are passed to the customer so if you do it yourself you don't have to pay extra. If you do not want to do it yourself 310 is good but there are lots of companies so call around and get quotes. read more

Talked to a friendly person on the phone who told me to expect someone between 10am and 2pm the next day. Planned around it and sat around waiting in my small condo surrounded by renovation materials I desperately needed hauled away before my toddler got home from daycare and hurt herself on them. Got a call at 1pm saying they were running late but giving no time estimate. I said I had to leave at 4 to pick up m my daughter and she said that was fine. At 4:10 I called the office again and told them I could not wait any longer. The response I got was that my appointment was actually for 12-4, which was both completely untrue and a pretty bad defence when it's after 4 and no one has shown up. Forget it! I will take my chances with another service that might actually show up when I book it. Extremely frustrated. read more

I called 310 Dump after another bin company failed to deliver a bin for 2 days that I had pre-ordered 2 weeks in advance. I received the bin 2.5 hrs after I ordered it which was impressive! Not only were they fast but everyone from the lady on the phone to the guy that dropped off the bin were beyond pleasant to deal with. Pick up was super easy, I called first thing in the morning and someone was by within a couple of hours to pick it up and I didn't even need to be at home for it. Friendly, professional staff and great cost! I had many items that I needed taken away. I called 310-DUMP and they were very busy but squeezed me in for the same day. The lady who I spoke to on the phone, was kind, professional and so informative. The Junk Removal truck came to my home, looked at my junk, gave me a price which I was very happy with because I had so much stuff. They loaded it up so quickly, I was so surprised that they removed all my stuff from my basement and backyard into their truck. The two men that came were also, kind, polite and professional. I would never use this company again - very deceptive marketing. They rent you a bin for a flat rate and then make you sign a waiver saying you'll be charged for any overages. What they don't tell you, is the weight allowances they give you for the bin are absolutely unrealistic! I paid almost $300 to rent a 15 yard bin, which I filled to the top with normal household items. I was invoiced an additional $150 afterwards and told that my overage weight was more than twice the alotted 1100 pounds! I would understand if I had loaded the bin with heavy items, but I did not. What they should have told me at the beginning is that even though we're renting you a 15 yard bin, if you fill it more than half full expect to be charged extra! Very frustrating....and expensive! read more

They will not hesitate to over charge you take more money then need to, take items they like behind your back that are supposed to be thrown away. Steal money/items from your house. The manager is useless will not take responsibility for anything at all. They backed into my car with a front loader and ruined the hood of my car and said shit that sucks for you, better work over time to pay for that. Will make employees work like slaves and take money out of your pay cheques. I am in the roofing business and bought a bin from 310 dump. I must say that they are good and have what you need at the right time and delivery guys are awesome but the longer you keep the bin the more it is and they will not be in a rush to take it back or call and ask if you are done with it. If I could give this company Zero stars i would. We have rented bins from them in the past without issue, but this was a terrible experience. We were mislead from the start by the agent convincing us to get a 10 yard bin, when we needed a 15 yard bin. She assured us there would be minimal charge if we needed to empty and get the 10 yard bin back. When we filled it and called they said they would charge us full price for another 10 yard bin. So 15 yard bin up front would have been $30 more. additional rental on a 10 yard bin $353.00!! when we were upset he accused us of lying and said they never said that and we should have realized there would be a full price charge.. seriously!? We were then offered a 10% discount.. are you kidding? then we finally just decided to fill the 10 yard bin and handle the rest of the waste ourselves. Call when our time was up (over a long weekend) Get the bin picked up and they charge us for an extra 2 days rental with no explanation. it was a long weekend, the earliest we could call is tuesday, we called Tuesday, then they also charge an additional $50 for 1/2 ton of waste, No explanation or a even a phone call, just unauthorized billing with an emailed invoice. When i call to correct it, they say, oh , sorry no idea why that happened, this is what we were told so you'll have to speak to a manager. Then the manager, same one who wouldn't deal with the 10 yard vs 15 yard deal says.. oh, well you had it two extra days so you have to pay for use. no we didn't.. 5 minutes after arguing, he back peddles and says, oh sorry.. not sure why that happened, you are right, there shouldn't be a charge for 2 days. I'll look into that and get your $30 refunded, but i think the other 70 dollars (even though it should be $50) you have to pay. HORRIBLE people skills with ZERO customer service focus. I'm not sure what happened, they used to be helpful and good, but i would stay FAR away from this company unless you want to get completely ripped off. read more

Called this company to give me a quote on removal of items. I specifically asked if they donated good items. I was promised that yes they would. The driver showed up, gave me a quote, and I agreed. They took out the items, and smashed them on the road before loading them up. Kitchen tables/chairs, end tables etc. All good items, I just had no need for them anymore. The only thing they kept was a couch/chair and recliner...because this was going to his Aunts. I called this company back - extremely upset. If I had known they would destroy the furniture, I would have called a different company. The reply was - we will look into it. Never heard from them again. Would I recommend them? They came out as scheduled, cleared the junks and kept the surrounding as tidy. They did a good job but my concern was the difference in quotes. By 1 no one had arrives, by 2no one had arrived, by 3 no one had arrived. At 3:30 a truck finally came - parked in front of the neighbors driveway (which the neighbor was trying to get out of I might add), took a look at what we had and informed us they did not have room! Yup, waited all day to be informed that there was no room! We were asked to leave all the junk on the front lawn for a later pick up - um...no thanks. They charge hidden fee.The price was different to they promise before u use them. And The bin was far away from the house. The service was not good. I am not recomment this kind of service at all. I will never rent from them again. The first contract they sent me was $100.00 over. They fixed it and sent it back. When they charged my credit card, they didn't take off the $20.00 discount. so they over charged me. As well, they said I was over the weight and charged me an extra $37.00. The bin was not even half full and was mostly cardboard and lightweight items, no way was it over the 1100 lbs. I also asked for it for an extra day, but they ended up taking it away with not so much as a return email or phone call. Horrible experience. 310-DUMP Advertises fair prices and no extras. What a joke! We rented a bin to haul away clean concrete (clean concrete is free disposal at the Edmonton Waste Management Centre), we were quoted for a 10 yard bin "concrete package deal." When we received the invoice it included an exorbitant 16% ($62) fuel and environmental surcharge which we were not told about, and was apparently in the very tiny font buried deep in the contract! They also charge a deposit which takes them up to 15 days to refund! Very displeased! Don't call it a "package deal" unless fuel and environmental fees are part of the package! read more

Edmonton office - Booked a bin on a Monday for south Edmonton home - and needed it for Wednesday morning. The lady who I spoke with said it would be the first run of the day, which I appreciated. I was quoted a price and agreed to it. Well Wednesday am comes and no bin by 8am. I call at 10 and voice my concern. Was told it will be the next one out. 12 noon comes and still no bin. Call back and was told its on route. It shows up at 12:20. So much for first run of the day, and the 2 workers I have to pay 4 hours for doing nothing just add to my frustration. Next I get the invoice and an additional $62.19 is added on for Fuel and Environ surcharge. That was definitely not mentioned when I booked the unit over the phone. No response to my first email stating how upset I was that it arrived 4 hours late. Not very good customer service, and ask about any additional fees before you agree to getting a bin. I did a small reno project and was looking for someone to come remove the waste from the removal of my back step. I have rented full bins before and figured there was no point since I wouldn't come close to filling one. The dispatcher was quick to respond to my enquiries and very helpful. They showed up during the arranged time and gave me a quote. The quote was so ridiculously high (twice the price of renting a small bin and 1/10 of the waste) that I just said no flat out, no point in trying to negotiate. He asked what I was willing to pay and I told him (1/5 of the quote). All of a sudden he was willing to do it for 1/2 the price he had first given me. Still way to much, I got him to 2/5 of his quote. What a racket! I caved because I just wanted the waste gone, as I'm sure others have in the past, but regret using this service. I had called them for some inquiries about possibly hiring them to get rid of literally 2-3 items removed in my backyard. My husband is busy with work and we normally just hire people here and there to do the lawn, plow/shovel the snow etc. Anyways the items was on my property and has been there for about 5 years. They had offered me a free estimate on how much it will cost and I was given an outrageous price. It was like over $300!!! I never ended up hiring them and now... coincidentally I got a letter from the city demanding us to get the items removed as though it was a neighbour that had complained! We've lived in this area for 13 years and it's anew area and we bought our house and moved in before there was any other houses behind us so let's say we're the originals. We've been friends with everyone around our area, which is why my husband and I refuse to move, coz our neighbours are THE BEST! We're super close (block parties with the kids etc.) and I don't think after 5-6 years that now they decide to complain about a few things in my backyard that's barely noticeable. Don't you think that's a little suspicious?! Anyways I got a friend to do it for free. Just thought I should share my story here so people are aware before they get a letter from the city after a visit from these people! read more
