I spoke with the owner, Matt, and explained that I'd bought a sofa off of Kijiji yesterday, and upon getting it back to my condo and removing the slipcover to put a fresh one on, realized that it was infested with bed bugs. Disgusting and very distressing. I immediately put the sofa on my patio, along with a few small garbage bags of dog bedding and blankets that had been near the sofa, and closed the patio door. First thing this morning, I called these guys. I was upfront with Matt that I had a sofa with bed bugs that I needed hauled away, and is this something he handles. He was super empathetic, and actually apologized that I had to deal with the situation I was in. He said he could help, and even rearranged his schedule for the day so that he'd make it to my place within 90 minutes. HUGE sigh of relief... he also said he'd wrap the sofa in plastic to avoid any possible contamination as he and his team removed it. Matt and his team showed up within the hour, and actually ended up removing the sofa right from my patio, so that they didn't even have to bring it back through my condo. They also took away the bags of dog bedding. It was very fast and painless, and cost me $90, which is more than fair. Right after he left, I realized that I'd accidentally put a childhood blanket that belonged to my mom in the garbage bag with the dog bedding. UGH.. I texted Matt, and he said not to worry, I'll fish the blanket out for you, and have it washed and will keep it for you until you're able to pick it up. Talk about service! I'd highly recommend Matt, and will definitely hire him in future. 5 stars all the way!!

We were quite happy with the three movers. They were on time, polite, and helpful. Their hourly…read morerate is slightly cheaper then the average moving company. We moved from a condo into a house and it took 4 hrs 45 minutes with an additional stop to a storage location. It could have been 4 hours total but we got detoured with a free sofa that turned out to be awesome and now sits in our main living room! They require you to have your mattresses in covers/bags and they'll rent them to you for $19/each or you can buy them from Canadian Tire for $10 each. My one piece of advice would be for them to sweep/clean their moving trunk regularly. After they left I kept finding small pieces of broken glass which came in from the bottom of their shoes.

Their bins are pink because the donation to Breast Cancer Research Foundation every year. They are also a Better Business Bureau accredited business. They have one price for a bin that includes drop-off, pick-up and disposal fees. No need worrying that you will get a big charge for a heavy load. You get the bin for one week included and to extend it for more weeks at a time is very reasonable (an extra $25/wk for a 12 cubic yard bin). All in all I am very happy dealing with them and would use them again. They only reason I am not giving them full stars is their online presence is really a bit of a mess. I think I found them through a Kijiji search initially. Then later on I tried doing a Google search for their business name and could not find it (so many bin companies). I had to wait until I got home and go through my browser history to go back and find their web page. Also they have a Facebook page and the link on that page doesn't take them to their webpage (it has .ca when their website is a .com"). Also their Bins say "Bin Buddy" when their business is called "Junk Buddy" to add to the confusion of trying to find them online.

We wanted junk removed from our crawl space under our basement stairs, a low, small space, not easy to get into, as well as our garage. Miquel with his daughter, were organized, polite and efficient. They inquired after each item as to whether it was a keep or a throw out. There was heavy flooring items, paint cans and suitcases, they took it all quickly and vacuumed the crawl space, leaving it empty and clean. The garage was handled in a similar manner, then swept out, leaving it also empty and clean.
