Somebody joined the line behind us, and another open register asks "Are you ready to check out?" But when the person behind us didn't respond, she said "Ugh, I guess not." The girl checking us out laughed with her about it. Sort of rude behavior, and I hope this employee improves her social skills, especially working in the customer service industry.

They had a particularly nice selection of princess dresses to adorn girls for Easter.. There were also a lot of colorful and cute purses for Easter wear. Probably their best stocked item are shoes and there were lots and lots of shoes to choose from in all sizes, from casual to dressing.. I scored a beautiful faux leather skirt and a bold printed pair of Palazzo pants to replace some of my favorite black-and-white striped pants, so it was a win-win situation for me! I wore those pants to the Eiffel Tower restaurant the next day and they were a smash hit!!

I needed some items from a national men's brand to replace some worn out items and strangely enough, Nordstroms seems to be the only store that carries what I want. Thankfully the online store carries the same. I had debated going to the brick and mortar store but I think I'm in my pre-black Friday avoid all in person shopping if I can mode. Since what I was looking for was purchased before I was confident that ordering on line without trying on would be ok.... So bright and early this AM with my faithful pooch and cuppa joe at my side, I rubbed a few more microns of plastic on the 'ol' credit card and ordered my items... easy peasy to move through the menu, finalize my purchase and get confirmatory email. I guess my only negative is the shipping charge (free if over 89.00) and since my purchase was a little less, I had to pay. It wasn't worth purchasing more to get "free" shipping. But all in all, a decent experience.

If you're not using the app, you're missing out. I stacked a few extra deals and saved even more, which made the trip even better. I also like that there's a Sephora inside. It's not as big as a standalone Sephora, but they still carry a solid variety of popular products... enough to grab your essentials or try something new without making another stop. Customer service was great all around. Employees were friendly, helpful, and everything moved quickly at checkout. The store was clean, organized, and easy to shop, which always makes a difference. Overall, a really good shopping experience with great value. Definitely a good day to shop if you're looking to save some money!

For example: Their store brand wool pants are amazing. Whether in a 70* office or 100* weather, I feel rather cool; I am constantly checking my legs to see if the fabric has ridden up to my knees as it feels as though nothing is there. The prices are a bit higher than some other options, but not nearly as much as you might expect (pants were ~150 tailored, got some excellent button-up shirts for ~50 a pop). The salespeople (thank you Sammy and Athen) are also passionate about their products and are ready to help you with colour theory, how to pair your items with other items in the store, how to best care for your clothes according to the materials, eyeing more American sizes to find their European equivalents... One scary thing shopping here is that they seem to get some lower-volume shipments from their designers, so have noticed a bit more instances of extra string at the end of some stitchings than would be expected. Emphasis on EXTRA, like an inch or so of string that had not been trimmed from a button's stitch.
