The estimator, Mark, was wonderful and talked me through the work and then two techs (Chris and someone else whose name I'm forgetting) showed up promptly the day of the work and completed the job without any drywall damage (which I was actually anticipating given that they had to run a wire). Chris and the other tech were very friendly and professional and kept me updated the whole time. Compared to the two other companies I received estimates from, Milton was communicative, competitive in terms of pricing, willing to address all my questions, and high quality in their work. I will definitely use Milton again!

I haven't called on them for plumbing service, but their heating & A/C people know their stuff. When I've called them to fix my A/C, they've not only fixed my main problem, but have also done other little fixes (e.g., replace a section of insulated ductwork that had a hole in it) or give helpful tips (e.g., use this type of furnace filter, not this other type). Like any home service company, they can get backed up during "crunch" times. If you're calling them because your A/C broke on the first 90-degree day of the year, you're going to wait a few days. In general, though, they're not going to leave you hanging, especially for routine repair work. Their prices are reasonable, though, and their people are knowledgeable - qualities you want when it's someone working on your home.

The tech put 2 lbs. of refrigerant in and a die pack and said we have a small leak and the unit was cooling. The unit was cool for about 10 hours. We were charged $470.00. It's been 3 days and they still have yet to give us a quote to fix the coil!!

almost any other company would be better than trying this one…read more Lucas Heating was dispatched by through our home warranty plan. they were very rushed while here. they rushed out leaving all their van doors open, had to run down the road yelling at them to stop. they superficially added a small amount of Freon, changed a battery and a filter. they did NOT assess the condensate trap line which should be an automatic trouble-shooting items as it needs annual maintenance. so guess what, 90 degrees outside this week and my AC still does not work. but wait, it gets better. Shantel called around 8:30 this evening. She wasn't responding to the curt but polite voicemail I left. She needed model and serial # because her techs forgot it. she then proceeded to argue with me that they added Freon and it freezing over can happen, despite my trying to describe the condensate trap. I offered to send a picture and email the info she needed, she pushed me to "just go out and read it to me". when I refused and said the techs can get that info when they come actually do their job (in a heated voice but not cussing or screaming) she stated I could get a different contractor because she doesn't deserve to be talked to that way, then she hung up on me. ..... what way, by a customer wanting quality work or them to stand by their work? to say I'm hot is, well, literal. it is still 85 in the house and is only going to get worse over the weekend. UPDATE: home warranty company filed a partner complaint against this contractor. UPDATE 2: I most certainly did NOT get nasty. You declined the opportunity to slow down and communicate via email. You want the model and serial # right then. it didn't matter what I was doing, you repeatedly asked me to go outside to get the info. the filter needed changed but was not dirty enough to cause a problem. the batteries were irrelevant as the thermostat is being replaced next week. hey but thanks for having courtesy enough to talk to your customers. I had a failed heat pump which meant our sun room was only able to be used on those days when it…read morewas mild so the room was not too hot or too cold. I contacted RE Robertson to have them provide options. They came over and were very conscience of the need for social distancing. Dave the HVAC manager came by and looked at the sun-room and the old HVAC unit. He discussed different options including a 'hotel' like unit in the lower wall, putting a single room unit in the wall and replacing the old unit with a modern unit. He was very helpful in describing what would be needed for each option then provided his recommendation and a quoted price. We decided on the traditional unit since it would not require additional electrical or carpenter work the other units would require. Dave scheduled the work and the team came on time and once again were very attentive to the social distancing and wearing face masks during the removal of the old unit and the installation of the new one. The entire job took just a few hours and the team made sure everything was cleaned up and carted off. The new unit does a great job of keeping the sun-room comfortable. We have been using the room nearly every day. Having this extra space in these stay at home COVID-19 days has been a blessing. Thanks again to Dave and the whole R.E. Robertson team. They all did a great job and I would highly recommend them for your HVAC or Plumbing needs.

I called them back to make the purchase and there was one additional item that they said would probably add about $250 to the estimate. I said "fine", get me the new one and let's book that start date. They then send me an estimate for $12,441 - WAY MORE than the $250 they said. No real explanation was given other than that was their new price. Don't trust these folks - I never will again.
