More than half of the store is given over to women's clothing with just one small corner given over to men's. There's also some books, furniture, glassware, knickknacks, and shoes. You find the newest clothing arrivals outside the front door along with the clearance items. They do have a discount system that works here along with a 50% off section inside. I fell in love with a pair of Frame Palazzo jeans that were way too long. I was just about to give up & Donna disappeared and came back two seconds later with the petite version in my size. I tried them on and they fit perfectly. No hemming. No tailoring. Donna and her staff were fast, helpful, and genuinely fun, even while I was clearly in mild shopping-panic mode. Luckily I checked the receipt because the young dude had not given me the discount. When I requested the discount, he explained that they only give the discount for people using them for WORK, assuming that my darling daughter would not be using them for work. He smugly noted that some people buy them and don't actually use them for work. I assured him that they would, indeed, be used for work and after a few more back and forths, he relented and gave me a discount. Like many of us in the valley, we own a vineyard and a winery plus two of us have jobs in conservation, so yeah, our entire family wears Redbacks. The weird sexist and possibly racist assumptions and patronizing attitude made me very sad. It's cool that they are in the valley but I'm not sure I'm headed back. See the photo? The dress I wanted to purchase seemed to have poor adjustable straps and when I asked if there was any other dresses in my size with adjustable straps that didn't get stuck, the salesperson was really sweet and went to the back to grab me one. Unfortunately, the dress she gave me had worse straps and was not my size. I'm glad I checked because I would've purchased a dress not in my size had I not noticed. Do know that things are on the pricier side here. It is a boutique clothing store afterall. Since I am here for a birthday trip, I looked at it as a birthday purchase.
