After repeated attempts to work with Call2Inspect to have them address the flaws within the report in order to provide an accurate representationof the home, I was imformed that I could send them a copy of my concerns via USPS. Although my desire was to have a professional resolution to the errors represented by this company, they refused to work in a collaborative professional manner. I informed the individual that I spoke with that I would be filing a repot with the BBB if there was not any attempt to resolve the issues. No attempt to resolve the issues generated by this faulty report have been made by this company at this time. We would like the business to take responsibiltiy for the inaccurate repot that was provided during buyer inspection of the property located at 1601 S. Emerson. The report has caused us to spend additional financial resources in order to provide proof that the structural integrity of the home is stable. Would also like to be given the difference of the eventual sale price of the home, given the impact of the inaccurate and likely negligent report. He stated his opinion, failed to do the math necessary to determine whether his assertion (regarding the size of the heating system), was accurate. The report provided to the buyers was also a pre-propigated report with numerous recommendations that had absolutly no relevance to systems found in the home being inspected. For example the report discussed the importance of having the HVAC vents inspected and cleaned if necessary, the home inspected has a radient hot water heating system, there are no vents. Although my desire was to have a professional resolution to the errors represented by this company, they refused to work in a collaborative professional manner. I would be leery of the inspections provided by this company. They provided groosly inaccurate information in the inspection report. This was my first time ever getting a home inspected and chose CALL2INSPECT based on public reviews. Right from the first phone call to the end of inspection and even few days after when I still had questions they were very helpful and prompt. Chip was our home inspector. He was not only knowledgeable but a good educator as well. He was never in a rush and answered all our questions to our satisfaction and understanding. When I called in a few days post inspection he was very willing to answer my questions even after hours. He spent a good 8-10 minutes talking to me at 8:30 pm in the evening addressing my concerns, which was impressive. While rating the service I had nothing I could compare it to. A lot of home buyers might be in a similar situation as me. So, I asked my realtor to share his/her 2 cents on the inspector and the service. This is what the realtor said "He was knowledgeable, fact-oriented, thorough, articulate, soft-spoken, not frazzled or stressed or hurried, thought things through logically. He answered all questions appropriately, in detail. He wasn't an alarmist. He got the full report out promptly, which is huge. Totally impressed and would recommend to and use the inspection service for his/her clients." The inspection was planned/scheduled for 3 hours. Chip inspected the home for the first 2 hours while the owner was still in. The next hour was allotted with us to go over the deficiencies of a well maintained house. We were explained as what, how and why a particular thing was inspected. Any possible resolution or care that must be taken by ourselves or a professional was indicated. The calmness with which Chip handled the owners argument is worth mentioning. I believe it is very atypical for an inspector to inspect a house in presence of an owner and then listen to their argument and defend well. Full marks to him. Very good job! Overall he spent additional half an hour to address our concerns but never seemed hurried. The general operating and maintenance of a new home guide he gave us has very useful information. I will definitely use their service and recommend them to anyone without any reservation. Trying to find faults and deficiences even in a perfect home is their job! read more

We used Call2Inspect for a home buyers' inspection. We found them with a quick search - the exceptional reviews made it an easy choice. Their front desk was courteous and helpful when I called - and was able to hold a time for me until I could get confirmation from the sellers several hours later. Dave arrived early to the appointment, and he was able to get set up before I even arrived! He explained in great detail what he would be doing, and gave me a "homeowner's manual" which has information about all the major parts of a home, recommended maintenance schedules, support numbers for questions, and a section for taking notes during the inspection. Dave walked my wife and I through each section of his inspection as he performed it - showed us what he was looking for - explained deficiencies and things to watch for in the future. He very patiently answered the numerous questions from me, my wife, and the rep from our Realtor. Dave found several very expensive problems with the property and showed us exactly what he was talking about and why it was important. We ultimately cancelled our contract to buy the house when the seller was unwilling to adequately address our concerns. Dave and Call2Inspect saved my family more than $20,000 in potential costs we'd be facing shortly after closing! We will be using them again. it wasn't the first home I bought or sold, but it was my first one in the Denver area. Apparently, realtors are not allowed to refer to inspectors, so I went to Yelp and asked the site. It came up with a bunch of names, but only Call2Inspect had an opening when I needed it. I couldn't have been happier. The inspector came and didn't leave anything out. He was far and away the most thorough inspector I've ever had, and he saved me several thousands of dollars by pointing out not only what was wrong, but how to fix it and in what time frame. The report came in on the same day and was incredibly detailed and full of visual proof. Much to my amusement, when I then met the sellers, they told me they had always wondered about some of the quirks of the house until the report explained them. When it was time for me to buy a ski condo, I begged them to help me out, realizing that it was probably out of their area. Maybe they could give me the contact info of someone local? After my wife and I went house shopping we found a beautiful place. Our realtor recommended two inspectors for us. I called the first name on the list and we were blessed with David. I got to the house about 15 minutes early just to get a feel for the neighboorhood, and David was already there waiting on me. He inspected the entire house and he walked me through everything that would need to be done. His patience with me as I asked all sorts of questions (as this was our first house) was amazing. I took detailed notes and he even gave me a book that would help us. His write up was totally comprehensive and even included pictures. More importanly, he put up with my father who can be difficult. After David left, my father was more than comfortable with us buying the house. We've owned the place for over a month now and I still contact David with how-to questions. This company was recommended by our realtor. The inspector was quick to schedule, on time, super polite/friendly, and provided us with a folder of helpful information on what he was going to look for etc. We've been through the process before so we knew it was the usual, but if you're new to the process of a home inspection it could be a real lifeline. They'll always tell you not to bring kids to an inspection. The reality is you usually have to. Ours was on a Saturday and he was so nice to the kids and kind to us. I was worried the inspector would view them as a nuisance or be impatient with us when we had to attend to them (1 year old and a 3 year old), but I worried for nothing. He is a parent himself and totally understood. Finally, they made it super easy to pay. You can write a check at the time if you remember your checkbook, we did not. He emailed us the inspection and then we could pay via credit card online to receive it. Super easy. read more

Wow, I was blown away by how awesome Mike was during our inspection. I was in from out of town and needed an inspection RIGHT AWAY before I left. Call2Inspect was recommended to me by my Realtor and they delivered...Mike was at the house at 9am the next morning! He was very professional, thorough, extremely pleasant and friendly, gladly explaining everything, and even answering questions that really had nothing to do with the inspection. We really liked the level and quality of service we received with Mike. He arrived early and looked around the outside of the house, he described issues in a straightforward, helpful way that allowed us to prioritize them, and he was able to send us the detailed report quickly. He delivered as promised, the report was thorough and he was easy to contact regarding follow up questions after the report was delivered. He also pointed out various quirks and workings of the home that will help us use, maintain and care for the home in the future. I have absolutely no complaints about Mike or the company and would recommend them to any family or friend without reservation. When we relocated from Illinois to Aurora last August, after picking out a house, we asked the realtor about home inspection. David came highly recommended and I called to set up an appointment. Setting up the appointment was a breeze. As we were still living in Illinois I flew in for the inspection. I arrived at the new house a few minutes before the appointment was David was there right when he said he would be. He thoroughly inspected the entire home and along the way made suggestions on maintenance and improvements I might want to do as well as explaining how things in the house worked from the furnace to the sprinkler system (we never had one before). Chip was Awesome!! My Realtor Trish Dudley Recommended Call2Inspect and I am so glad she did. Chip found multiple issues with the NEW home I was buying, and the Builder said that I did not need a "3rd party inspection". As, the home meets all building inspections and quality controls. He found an active water leak, Sump Pump not functional, Dryer that was not hooked up properly and started a small electrical fire to broken tiles in the kitchen. The list goes on and on... I had him come back and do a Re-inspect and he still found issues. I am so grateful for his time, attention to detail, communication, and punctuality. We are first time home buyers and are new to the whole home owning process. Dave came out and did our inspection on a Saturday which was great because it allowed us to be there during the process. He was incredibly informative throughout the inspection making sure to show to us and explain everything he was looking at. He gave recommendations along the way and wrote an extremely thorough report. We did a wrap up summary and picture review at the end. He also gave us a binder with all of our notes and helpful tips and best practice information for all major systems and appliances.
