Cushions, pillows and tables with the cutest decor, we absolutely loved the vibe and our server, Antonio, was fantastic. He was friendly, patient and very attentive to our needs. There is also indoor seating and a bar that looked just as inviting. His recommendations were fantastic and the food was fresh, delicious and the portions were enough for us to share. Plenty of parking around on the street or the nearby lot. Be sure to pay, we did see quite a few cars getting tickets. I came here for dinner for a bachelorette party on a Friday night. We made reservations online beforehand and they were able to accommodate our large party of 12 with an outdoor table. It was a chilly evening, but they had heaters on. Our server was Jose and he was very impressive! He handled all of our orders with ease and had a great personality making jokes all evening. The menu is massive and some dishes were very pricey. I ordered a Margherita pizza for myself and I felt that was affordable at $19. The crust was great. Disappointed. The outside seating, which was beautiful and first come first seating, had cushions, foliage and other comfy additions to feel like a living room amongst the tropical greenery. My sister was in town visiting from snowy MN so outside seating was a must! :). We started with the saffron mussels and the focaccia. The focaccia came with some of the best olive oil I have ever tried and was a good, thick portion. The mussels? OH. MY. GOD. SOOOOOO delicious! By far the best dish of the night. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. We split the special of the night, which were grilled giant prawns served with fettuccini in a "garlic wine butter sauce." The dish came with 3 shrimp that were for the most part cooked perfectly and were HUGE; like the size of my hand. I say almost cooked perfectly because half of one of the shrimp was overcooked. The disappointing part was the noodles. It legitimately just tasted like buttered noodles. The whole dish needed an acid that the lemon wedge served on the side just did not make up for and a cream element. Also, something fresh, like fresh herbs. I was so very disappointed by the pasta. For a price tag of $78, not worth it. In fact, I took home the noodles and the mussels and used the saffron mussel broth to mix with the noodles. THAT was delish! Service was on point. Call me Gaby, more like Call me Mediocre. Everything was extremely overpriced for food and service I could get better at brio. Unfortunately I fell into the tourist trap of visiting this place, don't get me wrong the restaurant has a beautiful ambiance, but nowhere near worth the price. Now to really discuss my problem, the service. Our server Claudia was pretty cold off the bat but I tried to ignore it. First thing that bugged me was that when listing water options she never once mentioned FREE tap water, only still or sparkling which was an unpleasant cost on the bill. Once we finished the bottled still water the very nice woman who was bussing our table gave us tap water. When Claudia realized she got mad at the busser and then proceeded to come to us almost confused how we figured out there was free tap water, ruining her elaborate plan to get more money on the bill. My biggest complaint with the service was that our server Claudia wasn't the least bit kind and seemed like she does not try to put in any effort to please customers. I completely understand though, her 20% tip was already added why would she try to be nice. Overall, I would not recommended this restaurant, but if you have to try it for the experience, steer away from Claudia and the Cacio e Pepe. read more

What a charming outdoor garden this place has! I love the mismatched patterns that somehow look perfect together throughout the fabrics, plates, etc. This place is a great vibe for anything: date, family dinner, catch up with a friend. One of my husband's coworkers (and his wife) were in town and wanted to meet up for dinner - and they had gotten a late night reservation at Call Me Gaby on Friday night. It was certainly delicious and with great service - but there are definitely other Italian spots in town that are much more reasonably priced - but that's what you get on the beach, right? We started with the burrata on special, as well as one of the pizzas covered in stracciatella and truffle. Honestly, probably the best burrata I've ever had in my life - it was creamy, perfectly salty, and the focaccia it was served with were divine. For entrees - my husband and I both ordered from the nightly specials: osso bucco with a pomodoro sauce served over saffron risotto, and a cacio e pepe served from a cheese wheel with black truffle. Unfortunately, the cacio e pepe was only fine. The presentation of the cheese wheel was great...but it was definitely missing the pepper part of the pepe. The saffron risotto however was excellent. Overall, service was excellent and it was such a fun vibe; I would definitely be back to grab drinks at the bar and maybe split an app or two - but probably wouldn't opt there for dinner again. read more

Meatballs were 3 of average size. The pears were thinly sliced and the flavors were paired excellently. Not heavy and a nice starter. Pastas we had were the cacio e pepe (pasta in a white cheesy sauce) and an order of the pappardelle all'uovo alla bolognese (pasta in a bolognese sauce)... both were delicious. And I always get this dish ! The drink was okay. The overall vibe of this place is not it. It's too loud. Not ideal to have a conversation or date. The service was good. As usual though there was always an issue with the check having to be split amongst 6 cards for a big group. The prices are too much for what you are paying . There is also a 20 % tip. Parking is street parking. There was no parking and had to valet $25. The overall crowd is not really Miami local foodies, More like the south beach crowd there for the gram. You either love or hate the trendy South Beach restaurants near South Pointe. Parking - fortunately I was dropped off but expect to pay $25 for parking because the lots nearby are very sparse. Drinks - I ordered the Profumo cocktail, which was tasty, but slightly different than I expected based on the menu description. $20 Food - I ordered the eggplant parm appetizer and the fiocchi pasta as an entree. Around $50 for the 2, and I HIGHLY recommend ordering an app and entree just due to portion sizes. I believe that price is justified by taste and quality, but could I get an equivalent dish for less at most other Miami Italian restaurants? Yes. I spent $101 in total including tip, and honestly was still a little hungry. Service was good, not great. Service was casually relaxed, and my server was on point with her recommendations. The way to go are their pizzas. The "Andrea" I enjoyed is a delicious & complex blend of flavors: fluffy rosemary crust, salty prosciutto, and a sweet fig jam with cool straciatella cheese. Did you try to eat it by hand and your toppings fell on the plate, and you have your crust left? No problem, since they serve a rich Sanniti balsamic vinegar. It's a perfect dipping sauce. Leave some space for their delicious pannacotta with berries. The vibe is great for sipping some vino and a great afternoon out. Everything looked fantastic on the menu and although they are pricy, I noticed the portions on the other tables were huge so we ordered family style a little variety of food that did not disappoint! We started with: FOCACCIA $7 Pizza dough, rosemary, coarse salt, extra virgin olive oil DOP It was crispy yet soft cooked perfect ! I hate that I loved this place because I'm so anti-sceney joints and this was exactly that but the food was soooo excellent. We had an 8:45 res and they were nice about seating us without the entire party present. We did request outdoor seating which they couldn't accommodate but it wasn't a big deal. The vibe is lively and upscale. Music is a tad too loud for my preference. Drink menu is fun and cocktails are reasonably priced at around $19-$20. I ordered a gin martini and it was well made. Everyone in my group enjoyed their drinks. We ordered the focaccia, the eggplant app, two pizzas, and a pasta to split. Everything was delicious but the pasta (FIOCCHETTI ALLE PERE E TARTUFO) was the star. Apps are around the $20 mark and mains are around $25-40. Service was decent - nothing to write home about but relatively attentive. Overall we enjoyed the meal. Again, probably a bit more expensive than it should be but the quality holds up. read more

Great food, trendy Instagrammable decor, stellar service... what more could you ask for? I came here for dinner while on vacation in Miami in early July. I ordered the hanger steak and the risotto of the day, which was a lobster risotto that day. Both dishes were AMAZING. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, and the baked baby potatoes were super good too. The risotto had plenty of lobster meat, making it worth the price in my opinion. For drinks, I ordered the Spaziale. The bartender (who was also our server) was also able to make a mocktail for my friend who doesn't drink alcohol. Everyone loves sitting outside here (so it is very difficult to snag a seat, since they do not provide an option to distinguish indoor vs outdoor on your reservation), but I personally loved the upstairs dining area. It is a bit smaller than downstairs, and there are very cute balcony nooks that fit one table of 4 people- these are the best seats in the house, in my opinion! As for the food, there were 3 in my party, so we ordered 1 pinsa, 1 protein, and 1 pasta to share, and it was plenty (considering we had already ordered appetizers elsewhere ). The pear pasta was very tasty, and the pinsa came with fig jam and stracciatella cheese, which ended up being the perfect mix .
