I called the taxi dispatcher the night before to request an early morning pickup from a residential neighborhood, going to SFO. He seemed to be a bit confused over where I lived, even though I gave him a street address, and asked me for a major intersection near my pick-up point. When I gave him one, it apparently wasn't major enough, and he kept pressing me to provide an even bigger intersection so the driver could find his way to the house. I thought that's what Google maps was supposed to help you figure out... No major complaints about the actual ride. The driver was exactly on time, and called 5 minutes ahead to let me know that he had almost arrived. The car itself was spacious and clean, and the driver was amiable and professional. His driving was safe and fast, getting me to the airport slightly ahead of schedule (though to be fair, no one was on the road at 4 AM). However, there were two aspects of the ride that could have been better: 1. En route to the airport, the driver asked me how I had heard about their taxi service. I told him that I had read reviews on Yelp, at which point he asked if I had an account. When I said yes, he asked if I would mind writing them a review. I told him I would definitely write a review. There was an awkward silence, and then he asked, "...So, can you write the review right now?" No, I cannot write the review right now! That totally defeats the purpose of reviewing the experience! He kept being pushy about it, until I told him firmly that I would write the review when I got to a computer. I know that the company relies on Yelp reviews to get the word out, but seriously? The pushiness frustrated me a bit, and that clearly bit them in the butt. 2. When we got to the airport, the driver said that if I was paying by credit card, I would need to pay an additional $5 surcharge to cover the credit card fee. I was really annoyed by this, since the dispatcher had never mentioned an additional cost for using a credit card when he quoted me a price the previous evening. I sucked it up and paid the extra few dollars because I rarely carry around that much cash without advance notice. Still, I thought it was pretty unfair of them to spring the fee on me last-minute. Overall, the taxi service was a good one, and I would trust it to get me to the airport on time and at a reasonable price. If I use them in the future, though, I'll be aware of their credit card policy. read more

Excellent service. I called these guys last minute when I found out someone broke in to my car night before. The cab was at my place in 10 minutes, like dispatcher told me. I asked the driver if I can wait since I was waiting for the police officer. I had the driver waited for at least 40 minutes. Driver didn't turned on the meter until I sat in his cab. I thought he might charge me separate for the waiting. But he asked me to pay what ever was on the meter. I really would like to thank the dispatcher for sending him and thanks to him for understanding my pain. Thanks again. read more

We've used this car service several times now to get to the airport (both SJO and SFO) from our home in Palo Alto and we'll definitely continue to use them! Gary is always on time (usually early) and it's just so nice to be met at the airport when you're coming home by a friendly face instead of having to catch a shuttle to a parking lot. We've had a variety of cars from Prius to town car and they are all clean and well kept. Do yourself a favor and book Gary next time you take a trip. read more

Great company! They have always been on time and have nice vehicles. They charge less than the airport taxis and they are much nicer cars, usually black suburban or town car. The only thing I would change is that sometimes the driver talks on the phone for quite a bit during the drive. He seems to be running the business out of the cab, while driving. I would prefer if this were done when he wasn't driving. But overall, one of the best experiences I have had with a cab in the Bay Area. read more

So I called this company based on the reviews and here is the breakdown: -Ride to SFO, outsourced to All Bay Are Limo: Zero stars. -Right from SFO, outsourced to A & M Limo: 4 stars When I made the reservation I told them I had a flight at 10 and they told me I should do a 7:30 pickup to be safe because Monday traffic is very heavy. They also told me that to make the return trip reservation I should just talk to the driver. The driver was at least 15-20 minutes late. I called and they kept saying the driver says it would be another 5 minutes. Finally I told them I would stay on the line until I physically saw the driver arriving in front of my house. The driver they said he would take 280 as 101 would be crowded and I said fine. All the time he is talking on the phone which was disconcerting because I had no idea whether he was listening to my pickup request. We get to the airport and he says: "Oh, so did anyone tell you how much this costs?" And I say: "No." He says: "Well since i had to take 280 which is longer, it is $92" At that point I thought it was pretty suspicious, but since it was on my company expense I paid it. He told me he was 95% percent sure he would be the person to pick me up and I should go outside of baggage claims. For my pickup, I called them when my flight arrived and they were not sure they had my reservation, which was also not reassuring. I was ready to get Uber, and they called me back and said the person was there at the airport, but not outside of baggage claim. I had to tell them where i would be. The driver arrived in 5 minutes and was very polite. We took 280 back to Palo Alto and at the end I asked him how much it would be and he said $79 is the standard rate. So I gave him that plus a nice tip. Based on my mixed experience I would never use this service again. I felt the pick-up driver was an arrogant, irresponsible cheat. These guys are horrible, as you can probably tell from the other comments. I tried to order a cab to pick me up from the San Antonio Caltrain station at 1:30 AM. The dispatcher didn't speak English and started yelling at me since he couldn't understand the address I was giving him. He then hung up on me. Twice. The taxi cab drivers themselves are mostly rude and never on time. Of course, there are 1-2 that are nice and delivered a personable experience. But I'd say 80% of the drivers I've received didn't deserve even a 1% tip. Furthermore, the company has like 4 different numbers with operators who don't understand English. It's extremely frustrating. I can't wait for the day when these guys go out of business as Lyft or Uber takes over the South Bay Area. read more

This was, as my partner described it, the "most painless cab experience" we'd ever had. We were picked up at SFO and driven to Mountain View for a flat rate of $75. Hard to stomach but after researching the rates elsewhere it appears to be competitive. Warren was our driver and he was incredibly courteous. I made sure to get his name so I could mention him in the review. He drove very safely and efficiently and respected our introverted tendencies and which route we wanted. this is a very reliable, very professional team. I used them for a ride to and from SFO for a family vacation, and they were perfect. I usually have a car service at work but didn't schedule it soon enough so there was no one available to book the night before we left on the trip. I called Call2Taxi and they were so good, they will now be my go-to car service for airport travel. They picked us up in a nice big SUV and were courteous, on time, and helpful. I had a business trip to the UK and called them at the last minute to get a pick and return ride from Palo Alto to SFO. They were prompt, communicative and very reasonably priced. My flight coming home was late and customs took a long time, but again they were in touch with me as soon as I landed and picked me up after a long arduous flight with perfect timing, clear communications and they had kept informed on my flight delay. I highly recommend this service the driver was extremely personable and considerate, their cars are nice, clean and comfortable, and they are 100% reliable. My favorite type of cab company - on time, reliable, honest, and inexpensive. I got a ride from Stanford/Palo Alto to SJC for $59 - They charge standard $3-a-mile rates, far cheaper than say Uberbut I was greeted with a large Lincoln limo-style sedan and received a call to remind me that my driver was there about 5 minutes before my time. I have used this car service 3 times in the past month to get to and back from the airport. In short, these guys are great. The cars are clean, the drivers are professional / courteous and the prices are reasonable. When they pick you up at home, they usually come 10 minutes before the specified time. When they pick you up at the airport, they call you when you arrive and arrange to meet you outside the terminal after you pick up your luggage, etc. Gary has become our go-to-guy and he's been great. I travel for work and use City Wide 2x per week to get to and from the airport. They are completely dependable and always on time or a little early when picking up. At the airport, they get there early and wait in the waiting area so they can come right when you call to say you're ready. Just like a car service, they'll just take your flight info and check on your flight status so they make sure to show up at the right place and the right time.
