I can't believe I never wrote a review for Harry! He is super professional and always on time. His car is clean, he helps with the bags, opens the door and almost always has water in the back. He is really considerate and on top of things. I used a few car services as I travel a ton for work, and since my first call with Harry over a year ago, I don't use anyone else. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. A+++ read more

We needed a cab ride from Mountain View to SFO. On their website they have clearly priced the ride as being $70-$80. We were picked up on time, and the driver was very nice and friendly, no issues at all there. What I do have an issue with is being ripped off. Due to my own complete stupidity I realized I forget our passports at home while we were in the cab. I did not remember this till we were almost at the airport, and I told the driver, "oh no! I need to go back home." I explained my error. He was very nice, and said, no problem, turned around and I got the passport and we went back on our way. I figured, maybe instead of $70-80 dollars, I would be paying something like double. Strange thing is, there was NO METER. So it was not exactly obvious, what I would pay. But what I did NOT expect was to be charged $267.00!!!! I asked him why so high? And he said it was triple the fare. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but $267 divided by 3 is $90. So not only does this company not use a legal meter, but he charged me more than their quoted rates on their website! That is pure highway robbery!! $267 for a freaking cab ride to the airport? Zero heart. I did not want to argue, as I had a plane to catch, but, I would never use a company that takes complete advantage of someone like this. This price gouging is horrible, and since they don't even use a meter....how are they legally able to get away with this? read more

Harry is the best of the best! We call him regularly to help us with clients and interview candidates. He has helped us take people to the airport, arrange town cars to chauffeur our VIP guests, and he even helped us out when our company's shuttle broke down on 280 and we needed taxis to pick up the stranded employees. His customer service is always above and beyond, and he is always on time. I would give Harry 10 stars if I could! read more

I had an important surgery appointment at 530am at Stanford. After a few rejected phone calls from other cab services, I was able to book one through Harry. I was happy to see him arrive on time and he called prior to arrival which I appreciated a lot. My location was out of the way and it was still dark out, but there he was, on time! He helped calm my nerves and we laughed together on our way to Stanford Hospital from Portola Valley. What a pleasant experience. read more

I took 3 stars off because our driver was sleepy and yawn all the time during driving. He even forgot to check blind point when he changed lane on 101, and almost caused an accident. Never trust them again. Price is reasonable. Car is clean and good. read more

Let me begin by saying,"Call Larry first"!!! Some cab driver's May or may not help you with luggage, opening doors, service with a smile, and suggest to you the Quickest and most inexpensive route to your destination. But above all this, Larry will suggests to your Boyfriend, Sir, may I place your girlfriend whom recently just had surgery, "May I place her in the car Sir, I know what I am doing." I looked at my Boyfriend let him put me in the car. Larry, OMG!!! I am tearing up, but this is all true, My boyfriend found him on line, but I will say it was fate, Larry picked us up from Stanford Hospital, he suggested taking Hwy 280 instead of Hwy 101 to avoid traffic, but most important bumps and pot holes and stop and jerking traffic... Larry!!! Stay helpful, keep doing what you're doing, all your hard work will pay off!! Sincerely, Stella B. read more

I've known Harry now for over 2 years -- his service is the best, period. He's extremely reliable, professional, and most importantly, a great person. Those three attributes make his service second to none. I used to be an investment banker (thankfully not anymore), dealing with a lot of high-stress situations. Harry never let me down once, always able to make whatever needed to get done, get done. His cars are also meticulously taken care of and luxurious so if you have clients / friends / family from out of town who need a professional service, I would not recommend anyone else. read more

First of all, the cars and drivers, were 5 STARS ***** it was due to lack of communication, that I was forced to take off a star. Ordered a pickup online, for 1645 hrs (4:45 PM) at 1200 hrs (noon), the website made it appear, that all went well, and that I would receive a confirmation by email, or phone. , . . well, I waited and waited and no email or phone call. I finally called them at a few minutes past 3 PM. Someone answered, I stated that I had ordered a taxi for a pickup at 445 PM, but had heard nothing, the fellow on the other end responded with a rude raised voice, HOLD ON, HOLD ON, HOLD ON . . . followed by dead silence . . . this went on until, I was sure he had hung up on me. Finally, he came back on line, but he was clearly talking with someone else, so I couldn't make heads or tails of what was up? Then he starts taking my info while a woman was clearly raising a ruckus in the background. He clearly had no info about our order, but assured me a car would be here. It was really weird, and I would not want my business run in this manner. Even after our conversation, I was on edge until the car arrived. Okay, I'm not usually a "worry wart," but it was Her Ladyship's birthday, which I had stated on the website. We were headed for a high end steak house which, if we would have been late, would have resulted in a 3 hour wait. Of course, this would have not sit well with "she who MUST BE obeyed." Another words, my life would've been toast . . . In the end, all went well, Her grace, partied like a drunken sailor (me too), and buy the time we'd paid the bill, our server informed us, our car, awaited us . . . I appeared the thoughtful, organized, hero, and all was well with the world. Ain't love grand? read more

I moved to the Bay Area a few months ago and have since then taken a tonne of cab rides. I used to call taxi services quite randomly, until I stumbled upon Yellow Smart Cab. Since then I have pretty much only used their services, because honestly, they are as good as it gets around here! They are always within 15-20 minutes of your location and arrive within that time, if not sooner... ALMOST ALWAYS! The dispatchers and drivers are very courteous and will get you to where you are going as soon as possible. Hands down, best cab service in the Peninsula region. read more

I can't give enough praise for the experiences I've had with Harry, and Yellow Smart Cab. Not only is he reliable and trustworthy, he genuinely cares about those who step into his car, and you get a great sense of that immediately upon meeting him. Anytime I am in the Bay Area, I immediately call and rely on Harry for safe and proven transportation to and from the airport, as well as to other surrounding areas. Harry is very knowledgeable of the Bay Area, and is very open with his communication so you know what to expect every time. I can't recommend Harry, and Yellow Smart Cab, enough to everyone, and strongly encourage you all to use this company in the future. read more

I have been using Harry's Yellow Smart cab service for a month now, i should say that he is the best cab person/coordinator i have ever met. He is a good human being, friendly, dependable, dedicated, has the right attitude and good communication, highly professional and he goes above and beyond his effort to provide a good experience for his customers. He has always been on time. When he is not available to pick us up, he ensures that he sends someone. He ensures to take feedback about the previous experience with other drivers that he had sent. He will always be on time and you can place the request via SMS as well, he ensures to respond/confirms to your messages in few minutes which is awesome. He has really set high standards for the work he does. I will always call him for any travel needs. I never leave review comments (this is my first one) but i felt that i am obligated to leave this comment for the service that he has provided. If Yelp allows me i would give him 10 stars. I will highly recommend him any day !! read more

I have used Harry's service for about 2 years after an injury left me unable to drive for several months. Harry and his drivers are, without exception, courteous, timely, helpful and efficient. In other words, very professional! They delivered me safely and on time to numerous dr appointments, taking care to get me in and out of the car and building safely. When I could get to the office again, they also delivered me safely to my office and to client meetings. I always felt safe and never worried about missing an important dr appointment or meeting. Now that I can drive again, I don't see Harry and his drivers as frequently, but when I need a driver, I wouldn't use any other service. read more

After reading some great reviews on Yelp, I made a reservation for an early trip to SJC airport at 4:30 am. I wanted a safe ride and figured that a professional taxi company would be more reliable and safe than uber. I was willing to pay more. I made a reservation via email and it was confirmed by Harry. I responded to thank him. Unfortunately, no cab showed up at 4:30. The driver had the wrong time. I had to take uber to make it on time and paid less Update: The company has been very apologetic via Yelp messages and texts. It sounds like this miscommunication does not happen very often (the driver misread the pickup time) and they are working on improving their communication read more

Harry is an amazing professional and treats his customers right. He was punctual, reliable and very courteous. His rates are very reasonable, and he is very open about reasons behind his choice of routes to a destination. Not that it mattered, he charged a flat rate for my trips from Stanford to SFO and back. Harry is also very friendly, and I had very interesting and engaging conversations with during my rides in his cab. You can't go wrong with Harry. read more

Awesome customer service. Use them all the time for SFO pickup. ESP now that I have #deletedUber.

I've used Harry for a little under two years when traveling to and from SFO and SJC. Every time I call up he greets me by name and simply makes the whole process as easy as possible. He has one of the cleanest and comfortable cars I've ever had the pleasure of riding in. Harry has always been reliable (even when I call to schedule at an odd last minute hour) and if he can't make it he'll make sure you're taken care of by someone else. His rates are reasonable and there is never an issue of wondering whether he'll claim "the credit card machine is broken". I can't really say enough good things about Harry, he is the standard to which all drivers should aspire. read more

Driver was early for my pick up, clean cab, friendly service and they take credit cards. Perfect!

I requested a cab from Harry anytime I needed to get to the airport for a business trip. Even though I live in SF, he was willing to come up to SF to drive me to the SJC Airport. He's super reliable and comes on time. Super friendly and great hospitality. He gives complementary water bottles if you ride with his service. My driver was named Harry. He was kind, considerate, and thoughtful. Throughout my drive he received several calls from customers and took them with a hands-free device. I overheard his professional interactions with clients and was very impressed. He even told me the background on some of those clients and I learned that he had accepted last minute calls, short drives, and even given free rides. I am looking at the other Yelp reviews and seeing that this is consistent feedback. If you want to take a chance and save a few bucks, go with Uber or Lift...but if you want guaranteed service and a great experience, call these guys instead. read more

You can't go wrong riding in a taxi driven by Harry. I had the pleasure of first sitting in Harry's cab two years ago. Since that ride, he's been the first (and only) person I call for transportation to/from SJC and SFO. Oftentimes I do not even get a chance to give him extra notice but he will be at my place exactly on time. Even the times where I've made him wait due to late baggage or a delayed flight arrival, he always greeted me with a big smile and a handshake at the airport. In general, a cab driver has a few basic responsibilities: * Picking up and delivering customers * Taking the fastest and safest route * Charging/Calculating the right fare and returning the correct change * Keeping the vehicle clean and in good working order Harry excels at all of that and does even more. He * is always professional, conscientious and courteous * will help you load and unload the vehicle * has great customer service skills * has great memory about things we talk about and especially pickup/drop-off addresses * keeps his composure when dealing with traffic, bad drivers, and during poor driving conditions. It is a pleasure to ride in Harry's cab because I know he will get me to my destination safely, quickly, and without pulling those "tricks" to bump the fare up or by taking roundabout streets. Harry is the best! read more

I had a painfully early (3am) airport ride and this cab ride was perfect. From ease of booking to pre-pickup communication to the ride itself, I couldn't have asked for more. Harry is the best! We recently used him for a pick-up in the city. My boyfriend lost his wallet that night but didn't know where. We called Harry to see if they found it in the cab but no luck.
