With her experience in the dental field (20years) she really knew what she was talking about and gave us real life examples. I feel really lucky to have come into the school when I did and have her be my instructor. Even when the school director wouldn't provide us with the supplies we needed she would go out of her way to purchase them so that we would be able to learn. She made the class fun with projects, we didn't just read out of the book we also did a lot of hands on. She would always explain the dental terms in ways we would understand them. There are so many great things I can say about her, I have no complaints whatsoever! The only reason why I am giving the school 4 stars is because the school director(Ray) would put other classes before us and provide them with the supplies they needed. He would always say there was no money to buy the supplies he needed for our class. My question is what did we pay for then ? If I am paying for the class then use that money to provide everything. The contract clearly said all equipment/supplies/books/ uniforms would be included and they were not. So we missed out on a few things not because the the instructor didn't want to teach but because the school director wouldn't provide us with the supplies we needed. Everyone else in the office is nice. The school's placement coordinator Patty is also great. She really does help you find a job and look for an office that's fits your schedule while doing you're hours.

I have received guidance and support that have helped me grow as a clinician and have been given opportunities to provide mentorship to those seeking to advance their career or their education in this field, which has also contributed to my growth as a clinician. I appreciate that Behavior Frontiers offers monthly CEU learning opportunities that are engaging and informative. I have always been highly motivated in school, and I love how this job allows me to continue learning. Additionally, there is a high standard set for Behavior Technicians. New Behavior Technicians are given a strong foundation when they go through our training program. This allows me to further their growth while still being able to provide quality services to my clients. For those Behavior Technicians that are not meeting company standards, there are clear protocols in place that state when it is needed to hold a disciplinary action meeting. This allows me to convey an action plan so that the Behavior Technician can clearly understand what is needed to improve. Overall, Behavior Frontiers has policies in place that allow me to complete my job duties while growing as a clinician, and I can definitely see myself here for many more years.

It gave insight into current workforce challenges and highlighted the need for passionate, well-prepared professionals entering the field. I found it valuable because it connected what I am learning now to real-world needs in healthcare. The message that inspired me the most was the idea that the future of imaging depends on the next generation of professionals. It reminded me that even as a student, I have an important role in shaping the field. This motivated me to take my education seriously and to strive to make a positive impact on patients and the healthcare team. Definitely recommend attending these sessions even if you're exploring the field.

The instructors I've had so far have been supportive and actually want you to understand the material, not just pass. What I appreciate most is how hands-on everything feels, especially with having started my externship. Career Services has also been helpful. Events they put together give you a better idea of what to expect in the field and how to carry yourself professionally. It's not just about school, they're trying to get you ready for real life after graduation, which I respect. It's not always easy, but if you're serious about your career, it's worth it. ASK QUESTIONS. It's all what you make of it.

The curriculum is…read morefast-paced and can be challenging, but it really prepares you for real-world clinical settings and the board exam. A huge shoutout to our program director, Dr. Vu, who went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared for the NBCOT. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students' success and puts in the effort to guide and support everyone throughout the program. All of my professors also played a big role in my journey. Professor Estoque had this really warm, motherly/older sister kind of energy that made you feel supported and comfortable, especially during stressful times. Professor Hintay had a calm and steady presence that made the class feel grounded. She explained things clearly and helped break down more complex topics in a way that felt manageable. Dr. Lim was kind but pushed us to really understand the material on a deeper level, which made a big difference in our learning. Professor Oh was newer to the program, but you could really see the effort he put into improving and growing as an instructor. Professor Son was fun and funny but she also challenged us in a good way. She held us to a high standard, but it ultimately helped us become more confident and prepared. She took on both roles as our instructor and fieldwork coordinator, and she handled both incredibly well. She was organized, supportive, and played a big role in helping us transition into our clinical experiences. All the professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help when things got tough. You can really feel that they want you to succeed, not just pass. One of the best parts of my experience was the friendships I made and the extra activities we got to be a part of. Whether it was volunteering or just participating in school events, those moments made everything more fun and created memories I'll always carry with me. Overall, I'm grateful for my experience at ACC. Going back to school was one of the best decisions I made, and I feel confident stepping into my career as a COTA because of the foundation I built here.
