    free donuts after chapel !

this college is absolutely amazing! the professors genuinely care about their students (s/o Prof Igram and Prof Gunasekera!!) and the community is full of God-loving people who want to get to know you! its even joke that students don't need meal plans because of how much free food they give (super sweet and yummy donuts after one of the conference chapels!) I loved going here, especially in how Biola deepened my faith in God through my major and the community!

We have had two daughters graduate from this University and we are so grateful for their commitment to education and character! Their staff and faculty were a pleasure to work with to get our daughters through the university. The campus is beautiful and we'll secured by a team of security. Thank you very much for your help with my daughters education!

It's a great campus to get married..! Everything you need is all here at Biola University. The chapel to have a wedding ceremony, the banquet hall like place to have a wedding reception, seasonal differences of backdrops for photography sessions (Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter). These sessions include: Bride & Groom, Wedding Party, Family and Friends portrait sessions. Parking is great. No hassle of finding spaces. However, if your event falls between weekdays during the school year than you'll be most likely to have hard time finding decent spots. There is a couple of reasons for three star rating. First, the bride has to use one of the lecturing class rooms as her waiting/dressing room. It doesn't look that pretty. no mirrors and no furnitures. Oh... I'm sorry, there are some furnitures: teacher's desk and rows of student chairs. Second, the reception area has a low ceiling and it's located right next to the students' cafeteria. If your event happens during the vacations than you'll have a quiet and intimate reception. But expect chatterings and noises from students next door. I would've given 4 star rating if these two reasons weren't the reasons. Please view the pictures I posted for visual references. Thanks~

The professors and teaching staff are knowledgeable, friendly and AVAILABLE. Talbot is committed to conservative evangelical theology and Biblical inerrancy/scholarship. The campus is beautiful and well-maintained. If you attend Talbot, you will find that the Talbot community is better described as a Talbot family. Here in So Cal, simply put, it doesn't get any better than this... though a close exception could possibly be The Master's Seminary (TMS would only be just as good, not better, especially once the campus itself is factored in).

My professors are transparent and amazing. One of my professors, Dr. Tapia, helped me emotionally and psychologically when I told him that I was in a very traumatic incident almost three years ago. He was very understanding. But you guys need to address the whole cat-killing scandal. It's unacceptable to have people killing cats.

I have had the worst and most frustrating experience of my life trying to enroll into this school…read more For months they kept giving me the runaround. I had to call just to get my own student id because they were gonna forget it otherwise. They are so rude over the phone. The first guy blamed me for calling too early to speak to a general counselor, then when I told him that it said the time and I was there five minutes after, he said she was late. I told him I needed to speak to someone about enrolling, he told me that I have to speak to a generals counselor before I can even speak to a majors counselor. So, I went back to their little only chat and waited again. I spoke to her, told her I was doing a career change because I already have multiple degrees. I just wanted to do court reporting. She told me that going to private schools would be an issue because it's different. Okay... then she told me to speak to a major's counselor and to call back the other number because I needed more information. I called back, someone else answered and told me the majors counselor for court reporting wasn't in until the 17th. I said okay and I waited. Called in multiple times today, nobody answered. I go to their online chat, it took forever to speak to someone. They said I need to speak to a majors counselor, give me the link, and I wait more and NOBODY ANSWERS. I hate it here. I started calling and trying to reach someone around 10AM, it's not 11:45 and I still can't reach someone to help me. I have CalVet, which means I can go tuition free. I have my student ID. They keep telling me to just register, but I have no idea which classes to register into. I do not know if I need to transfer GE credits. I do not know how to connect my CalVet benefits to their school. I do not know anything about their process, other than they CLEARLY DO NOT WANT TO HELP ME ENROLL FULLY. It is the most frustrating experience knowing that I could start classes but I can't because nobody there can answer questions. I'm actually over it. If it's this challenging to start school, then my assumption is that they won't be much help when I'm actually fully enrolled and registered. I guess this is part of the reason why there's a shortage of court reporters in California -- because schools like this don't gaf about who wants in. Do not go here if you are a Veteran, spouse of a Veteran, or dependent of a Veteran.

The curriculum is…read morefast-paced and can be challenging, but it really prepares you for real-world clinical settings and the board exam. A huge shoutout to our program director, Dr. Vu, who went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared for the NBCOT. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students' success and puts in the effort to guide and support everyone throughout the program. All of my professors also played a big role in my journey. Professor Estoque had this really warm, motherly/older sister kind of energy that made you feel supported and comfortable, especially during stressful times. Professor Hintay had a calm and steady presence that made the class feel grounded. She explained things clearly and helped break down more complex topics in a way that felt manageable. Dr. Lim was kind but pushed us to really understand the material on a deeper level, which made a big difference in our learning. Professor Oh was newer to the program, but you could really see the effort he put into improving and growing as an instructor. Professor Son was fun and funny but she also challenged us in a good way. She held us to a high standard, but it ultimately helped us become more confident and prepared. She took on both roles as our instructor and fieldwork coordinator, and she handled both incredibly well. She was organized, supportive, and played a big role in helping us transition into our clinical experiences. All the professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help when things got tough. You can really feel that they want you to succeed, not just pass. One of the best parts of my experience was the friendships I made and the extra activities we got to be a part of. Whether it was volunteering or just participating in school events, those moments made everything more fun and created memories I'll always carry with me. Overall, I'm grateful for my experience at ACC. Going back to school was one of the best decisions I made, and I feel confident stepping into my career as a COTA because of the foundation I built here.
