free donuts after chapel !
Kayden C.

this college is absolutely amazing! the professors genuinely care about their students (s/o Prof Igram and Prof Gunasekera!!) and the community is full of God-loving people who want to get to know you! its even joke that students don't need meal plans because of how much free food they give (super sweet and yummy donuts after one of the conference chapels!) I loved going here, especially in how Biola deepened my faith in God through my major and the community!

We have had two daughters graduate from this University and we are so grateful for their commitment to education and character! Their staff and faculty were a pleasure to work with to get our daughters through the university. The campus is beautiful and we'll secured by a team of security. Thank you very much for your help with my daughters education!

It's a great campus to get married..! Everything you need is all here at Biola University. The chapel to have a wedding ceremony, the banquet hall like place to have a wedding reception, seasonal differences of backdrops for photography sessions (Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter). These sessions include: Bride & Groom, Wedding Party, Family and Friends portrait sessions. Parking is great. No hassle of finding spaces. However, if your event falls between weekdays during the school year than you'll be most likely to have hard time finding decent spots. There is a couple of reasons for three star rating. First, the bride has to use one of the lecturing class rooms as her waiting/dressing room. It doesn't look that pretty. no mirrors and no furnitures. Oh... I'm sorry, there are some furnitures: teacher's desk and rows of student chairs. Second, the reception area has a low ceiling and it's located right next to the students' cafeteria. If your event happens during the vacations than you'll have a quiet and intimate reception. But expect chatterings and noises from students next door. I would've given 4 star rating if these two reasons weren't the reasons. Please view the pictures I posted for visual references. Thanks~

Note: I only give out 5 stars to surprisingly EXCEPTIONAL, best-in-class establishments…read more Hands down, Talbot School of Theology is the best seminary in Southern California. The professors and teaching staff are knowledgeable, friendly and AVAILABLE. Talbot is committed to conservative evangelical theology and Biblical inerrancy/scholarship. The campus is beautiful and well-maintained. If you attend Talbot, you will find that the Talbot community is better described as a Talbot family. Here in So Cal, simply put, it doesn't get any better than this... though a close exception could possibly be The Master's Seminary (TMS would only be just as good, not better, especially once the campus itself is factored in).

When you go to visit, make sure you carve time to sit, reflect and pray. Talbot has awesome places to do that! you could stroll down olive grove, Talbot East (new building) prayer chapel modern & chic yet still quiet and peaceful or you could visit the small chapel -Rose of sharon You will feel like you just went on a mini vacation with the Lord! You could also join the chapel worship on tues/thursdays to hear sermons from the amazing staff & faculty have lunch at the food truck or at the cafe with huge windows but make sure you are there before the lunch traffic starts! My professors are transparent and amazing. One of my professors, Dr. Tapia, helped me emotionally and psychologically when I told him that I was in a very traumatic incident almost three years ago. He was very understanding. But you guys need to address the whole cat-killing scandal. It's unacceptable to have people killing cats.

I was considering attending Cypress College, but after learning what's happening to the community…read morecats on campus, I cannot support this school. Simon, a small campus cat, was allegedly struck with a rake by a Cypress College employee. He suffered severe neck and spine injuries and had to be put down. How do you do that to a defenseless animal just trying to survive? Craig Lee, Director of Campus Security, oversees the area where people leave water for the cats. Yet those water sources are repeatedly destroyed. Dr. Scott Thayer has claimed the school provides water for the cats, but that's simply not true. Community members are constantly rushing to bring water because the cats are left without it. Between 2023 and 2024, the campus cat population dropped from 26 to 23. That means three cats are unaccounted for. Where did they go? What happened to them, Dr. Thayer? These are living beings--deserving of answers and transparency. There are also serious allegations that employee Tim Noriega has trapped cats with the intent to kill them. If you have any knowledge of animal abuse at Cypress College, please report it to law enforcement. And if you work at the school and face retaliation for speaking out, document everything and contact an employment law attorney. Simon's story is heartbreaking, and the disappearance of other cats raises grave concerns. Students deserve to attend a college where animals are treated humanely and accountability matters. Until Cypress College addresses this, I cannot recommend it.

Come to find out, my physical textbook didn't correspond to the online textbook. Paragraphs were missing in each chapter, or data statistics were not the same. I scratch notes and make highlights physically into my book to help me study information l, hence why I purchased the textbook. When attempting to fill in information that was missing, it became ok much to do in each chapter. I informed my professor that I am getting chapter questions incorrect due to questions being asked that were not in my physical textbook. My professor's response was "...printed textbooks are published every 3 to 4 years. By the time it gets to print what was written is 9 months old before the actual publish date... Unfortunately, we cannot stop the world from changing." Is this something where I say "you're right Professor. What was I thinking?" Why do I spend money on outdated material? It appears that the material is sold at the Fullerton College bookstore because the professor approved it. I ask again, why do I have an outdated textbook that was sold to me by the school?

A huge shoutout to our program director, Dr. Vu, who went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared for the NBCOT. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students' success and puts in the effort to guide and support everyone throughout the program. All of my professors also played a big role in my journey. Professor Estoque had this really warm, motherly/older sister kind of energy that made you feel supported and comfortable, especially during stressful times. Professor Hintay had a calm and steady presence that made the class feel grounded. She explained things clearly and helped break down more complex topics in a way that felt manageable. Dr. Lim was kind but pushed us to really understand the material on a deeper level, which made a big difference in our learning. Professor Oh was newer to the program, but you could really see the effort he put into improving and growing as an instructor. Professor Son was fun and funny but she also challenged us in a good way. She held us to a high standard, but it ultimately helped us become more confident and prepared. She took on both roles as our instructor and fieldwork coordinator, and she handled both incredibly well. She was organized, supportive, and played a big role in helping us transition into our clinical experiences. All the professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help when things got tough. You can really feel that they want you to succeed, not just pass. One of the best parts of my experience was the friendships I made and the extra activities we got to be a part of. Whether it was volunteering or just participating in school events, those moments made everything more fun and created memories I'll always carry with me. Overall, I'm grateful for my experience at ACC. Going back to school was one of the best decisions I made, and I feel confident stepping into my career as a COTA because of the foundation I built here.

With her experience in the dental field (20years) she really knew what she was talking about and gave us real life examples. I feel really lucky to have come into the school when I did and have her be my instructor. Even when the school director wouldn't provide us with the supplies we needed she would go out of her way to purchase them so that we would be able to learn. She made the class fun with projects, we didn't just read out of the book we also did a lot of hands on. She would always explain the dental terms in ways we would understand them. There are so many great things I can say about her, I have no complaints whatsoever! The only reason why I am giving the school 4 stars is because the school director(Ray) would put other classes before us and provide them with the supplies they needed. He would always say there was no money to buy the supplies he needed for our class. My question is what did we pay for then ? If I am paying for the class then use that money to provide everything. The contract clearly said all equipment/supplies/books/ uniforms would be included and they were not. So we missed out on a few things not because the the instructor didn't want to teach but because the school director wouldn't provide us with the supplies we needed. Everyone else in the office is nice. The school's placement coordinator Patty is also great.
